This reminds me I still have to watch the Sunderland one.

Why do crap clubs feel the need to do this? It'd be like Blockbuster releasing a series about their fight with Netflix?
Money and publicity. And it’s not just top-level football clubs that generate great stories. Look at the Netflix’s amazing series of Formula 1 – they had stayed clear from both Ferrari and Mercedes teams (probably because they didn’t have them permission) and it didn’t hurt them even a little bit.

The City one was dreadful in large parts, but occasionally had interesting elements, like Guardiola's pre-match tactical briefings. I also found his half-time team talks quite insightful.

I'm not sure that the sight of Mourinho slumped silently in the corner of the dressing room, scowling angrily at his team, will make such good viewing for a neutral.

I skipped my way through it today after remembering the same. Absolute comedy gold, well worth a watch.

Imagine titling a documentary about a team who have won 1 trophy in 12 years "All or Nothing".

They need to think about "something" before they even dream of "all"

Having Mourinho there will be far more interesting that Poch, cant wait to get an insight of the toxicity of that dressing room.

Maybe so, maybe it's just the "all or nothing" that will just invite opposition fans to ridicule Spurs fans even more about being a failure that makes me think this isn't a great idea?

@EwanI Ted thanks! Definitely on the watch list when the other half comes off furlough!

Why did they make a documentary about this? what
It's just an ongoing series of documentaries from Amazon, where they spend a season with a sports team and film a load of behind the scenes stuff. Started with the NFL in 2015. Done 5 seasons in the NFL, spending a year with 5 different franchises. Also done seasons with the All Blacks rugby team.

Also just found out that they've got one with the Brazilian national team.

The name is certainly ill-advised.

I'm guessing Spurs will have final say on what goes in, so it might end up quite puff piece-y but there's so much drama that's gone on with them this season there's bound to be some good content. I can only imagine all the footage they've captured. Hoping it's not just a Levy propaganda piece

I really enjoyed watching Pep in the City one. He's a great manager but he's clearly mental also

Just started watching the city one. Damn, it's humanising them.

Hard not to feel for Mendy when he tears his knee ligaments.

How do people generally feel about these documentaries. Would you want us to have one?

He's completely OCD with those bloody magnets on the tactics board.

I assume they have some some agreement with amazon but what timing for a documentary... imagine being a Spurs fan right now. You have to be fuming.

Is it normal for players to have no clue who the new coach is, until he walks in?

I love these documentaries. But I'd rather not have a United one, I think at best you can emerge unscathed from it, more than likely it is going to make you look like a group of mugs.

BTW: when does this come out?

No.
Lot of nonsense goes about in tunnel and dressing rooms and everywhere. You don't want cameras to capture all of it and tell the world. It is not like once the club lets them in, the club has any control over what will be filmed and telecast. Although it will be interesting the kind of conversations Jose or LvG had with Woodward or the players

There are only a handful of clubs worth watching for a series like this in football. Tottenham isn't one of them.

I wonder when the production stopped. Because this Covid era must be covered for this to have real impact of any kind.

You almost wonder if they signed Jose to cast him in the documentary:lol:

LvG is the one I'd like to have seen. If his drunken speeches at the post-season awards are anything to go by, I expect his team talks would make for pretty entertaining viewing. I mean, he is the man who did this:

I wonder if that Son and Lloris fight was staged for season 2

If they are already done shooting, seeing as Mourinho is still the manager, it is going to have to end with some sort of positive spin. Should be interesting to see how they manage to do that

Oh, interesting, it will have Levy interviewed about his masterplan. On replacing Poch with Mourinho - "Only time will tell if it's the right decision." No that much time, I think.

Spoiler tags, ffs!

The positive was probably them being above Arsenal

Which time period does this cover? Surely not all the way to present day?

Gonna be hilarious watching this.

Best manager in years fired, Eriksen sold coupled with mediocre results on the pitch.

I like them but I have not watched the City or scouser one. The Salford one is good too. Sunderland was good.

A United one would probably big a huge money deal.
