Next Sunday, nothing but a win gets us in the CL - do you trust us?

Trying to gauge where we are mentality wise. If results go a certain way, it can be a straight shot next Sunday between ourselves and Leicester - we win, we get CL. Anything else we're in Europa. The implications of that for the next 2 seasons are enormous, with signings, shirt deals, covid-year revenues and so forth. Could even determine Ole's future. So it's if not the most important than one of the most important post-Fergie single matches.

Do you trust this team to get the job done?

If we are at our best then yes I fancy us to beat Leicester.

I do trust us yeah... but I don't trust Leicester, Brendan, Jamie Vardy, the officials and the footballing Gods.

Yes, but only because there’s no home crowd for Leicester. If there was, I’d say “no” and our collective arses would go.

I expect this is the position we'll be in. It will be a nervy game, especially if Leicester only require a draw.

Not really, we seem to always find a way to miss out when the chips are down.

We'll see how we do against Palace and West Ham, I'l be pretty nervy for all three of our remaining PL games.

Mentally I probably wouldn't based on the past few years but technically we're better than Leicester based on players and form so I'd be confident. However, if they won their next two games to get us to this scenario then I'd be concerned. I'm hoping worst case is we're needing a point on that last day to secure it.

At the end of the day as long as he performance is there that’s all you can do. On any given day you could put in a good performance but still not win.

Just a shame it comes down to one match to decide our fate, which would be where the main post mortem should be focused on if we don’t get top 4

I’ll feel much more confident than I would if there was a crowd at the King Power.

In reality for us to need a win on the last day Leicester will need to match or better our results in the next games which should be a difficult enough task for them.

Honestly? No, not really. I'm loving the direction we're going and am really positive about our future, but the past few years have given me real trust issues with our team, and they won't be easily evaporated. I'm hoping this is the start of a new outlook, though!

It comes down to belief. We're in better form, we have a lethal attack, quality in midfield and look more solid at the back than a creaky Leicester with injuries and suspension.

There's no reason why we wouldn't be able to win, but do the players believe that? Feel like getting Top 4, as pathetic as it sounds for Man United, is a real turning point for these players this season.

If we win our last 3 games, I think we'll kick on and continue the massive improvement we've seen under Ole. If we miss out, it will feel like back to the drawing board.

I wouldn't trust this team to win a match even if their lives depended on it. I think they are fragile as feck. 3 games to prove me wrong.

Yes I trust us. We turn up to big games, it’s the games that we are expected to win that are the worry.

Still missing an extra character on the pitch to give players a kick up the arse during a game, the manager can only do so much of that prior to a game.

I don't trust us. I only believe in the final result, after the final whistle because it's the result that counts and alters the table. Win = 3 points, draw = 1 point, lose = 0 point.

I would strangely feel more optimistic about needing a win than needing just a draw.

Does that make sense?

Absolutely not. We have a great track record of collapsing under any sort of pressure.

Totally see where you are coming from here. It kinda mirrors our approach to shutting up shop in games, it just doesn't work for us however when we are in need of a win or the underdogs we seem to have a better chance.

We'll be 5 points ahead of them come next Sunday so nothing to worry about.

No, of course not. We don't deal well with pressure. We do okay when no one expects us to, see PSG away.

Recent history suggests we'll likely bottle it if CL qualification if it comes down to a one off match. West Ham a few seasons back, the final run in last season etc all show we do not (or have not) responded well to the pressure.

Despite our impressive run recently there still have to be questions marks over the overall mentality of the squad. It's always been these sorts of moments that define a top team so I hope we manage to overcome our demons this time around.

Outside of the Europa league this club hasn't had a banker in a long time.

Yes! Mainly because I see top 4 being wrapped up before we play Leicester, can't see them bagging 6 points over their next two games!

I expect nothing less than 6 points in the next two games which should leave us with a tasty battle for 3rd with Chelsea.

If this Squad wants to challenge for Champions Leagues and for the League, if they can't beat West Ham AND Palace then they aren't worthy of that challenge.

No I would be nervous like crazy. I trust us to waste chances in the game. Not sure about Pogba either in these dying moments.
De Gea you never know with. Think Maguire would step up against his former club hopefully that would be enough.
Rashford I think love these big moments too.

Every opportunity this whole damn season just says “No, you go ahead” to every team that was going for top 4. So nope.

No, the last thing we can talk about the current team is consistency. Still have question marks about our mentality.

I’d fancy us. I’d be very disappointed if we can’t at least match Leicester’s results in the two games before, and make up the -3 goal difference though.

I think we might need a draw. That is even worse than needing a win almost for the nerves.

I just don’t see Leicester getting 6 points in their next 2 games so for the final game to be winner takes all would mean we’ve dropped points against Crystal Palace and/or West Ham. I’m which case I don’t know that I do trust us!

All things considered we have the best run of games and the best post lockdown form of the 3 teams currently vying for 3rd and 4th. If we don’t get this over the line now, serious questions need to be asked.
