This is by a long long long way the least bothered I’ve felt about losing a FA cup semi final

Didn't turn up at all. Incredibly annoying that we've managed to not really rest anyone and still well and truly lost.

If your keeper lets in two goals like that against Chelsea you lose. There’s a lot about Chelsea looking better than us, but in reality it is easy if your keeper messes up like that against a CL quality team. Real questions have now got to be asked about our keeper.

So many poor passes. No momentum. Silly mistakes all over the pitch. Chelsea deserved it but was the ref a spare holding midfielder for chelsea? He kept getting in the blinking way

Maguire is shite. Lindelof non-description. DDG has been poor for months. Dan James is a non-entity, pointless.

Shit game.

That's been coming for a few weeks now. Poor selection, poor attitude and got what we deserved. Need to get back on track for West Ham.

Need to shake this off because arguably the biggest game of the season is on Wednesday we must win against West Ham.

The system lost us the game. De Gea particularly, and almost all players other having an off day.

Didn't fancy us anyway, Chelsea were due one against us. They looked a yard sharper all over, had more rest etc but can't blame that.

Massive errors for their goals, de Gea especially poor along with Maguire and Williams in particular (but with their recent knocks to the head they have at least a bit of sympathy).

Wrong selection, but I think we would have lost today even if we picked the usual starting line-up. Fans would complain if we picked our first XI or second XI - was a lose/lose situation IMO.

Onto West Ham, I think we'll finish top four.

Meh. The system change didn't work, clearly. And then when we could have regrouped and come at them in the second half with Martial in but instead shot ourselves in the foot with Williams and De Gea. Our players looked leggy and sloppy for the third game in a row - I think they're bricking it really.

Of course Bruno played the entire fecking game... let's hope it doesn't come back to bite us.

Also, Pogba got the only yellow of the match. fecking joke considering their persistent fouling.

Same. It is all about qualifying for UCL for me. Beat West Ham by a healthy margain on wednesday and we are there.

Ole's at the wheel, driving us off the top 4 cliff.

Only one team wanted to win that.
We were 2nd best all day.
Only Bruno put a shift in the rest should be ashamed.
Trying to rest or not that was disgraceful.
The less said about ddg the better. We will be better off with Henderson next year for sure.
Roll on the hammers where hopefully we will actually try a bit.

That’s what 48 hours more rest gets you- we didn’t get going at all. Can’t blame Ole really for rotating. Gutted for Romero though - he didn’t deserve to lose his spot today and you could argue it was a bit unfair on Ighalo.
positives? We get a week off before the Europa resumes

This is more frustrating than anything today.

Ole gambled and fecked up. There was no need to play that XI, and it might cost us further on Wednesday.
No he just fecked up.

played shit in first half but matched them. De Gea then threw 2 in his net and we didn’t recover. Awful performance. Need to make sure we don’t carry it into our last 2 games. De Gea needs dropping.
This.

Gonna be a lot of posters on here who have been waiting for a chance to slag Ole off and question if he's good enough for Utd and they're going to do it with relish for the next few days.

We had 2 days less rest than Chelsea which was a fecking joke. Ole took a gamble with the lineup and it didn't work, we didn't play well but it wasn't like they created anything really. And then De Gea does what De Gea does these days.

De Gea MUST be dropped for the rest of the season. If we persist with him for the next 2 games we WON'T be in the top 4, it's as simple as that.

Hate that one of them are going to win this cup.
Hate to try and choose between them, both are heavy cnuts at gloating right now.
Wish Chelsea lose to Liverpool and Wolves and we win against West Ham and Draw with Leicester. 5th will be a welcomed sight for Chelsea.

Redcafe: we don't care about the F.A. Cup.

Redcafe: this is a disgrace we lost, Ole out and [insert players names here] are not good enough.

I'm really not too bothered. Get top 4 and give Europa a go and it's a good season.

From the off you can tell we were holding back slightly. They played better than us, de Gea had a howler, just not a good day at the office. It happens, it's a young team, still need to get rid of dross and bring in quality.

Tactically naive again. DDG poor. Again. Also quite a few first teamers look gassed, AWB, Maguire, Bruno among others. Thank god Leicester lost today, two draws should see us through in the league and I am not overly optimistic that we can manage more.

It's pretty much the same as last season, we're flying for quite a few games and then we deflate. This is on our poor squad.

Shit performance. Dont really care.
Hope Bailly is fine.. looked nasty.

Martial, Pogba, Greenwood got some rest.. Rashford got some as well. Bruno is apparently the fittest of the lot..

Forget it .. Move on.

And what the feck De Gea?

In hindsight we should have sacked this off and played the second string. We have put more miles on our players' clocks for nothing.

Poor performance. We were deservedly beaten.

Cowardly performances out there from our attackers, who seemed to want to walk it in rather than try and shoot.

Defensively we were horrific. Our defenders could not cope with the ball to feet under pressure, and they continually lost Chelsea's runners.

As for DeGea his head's gone. Maybe he needs counselling or something cos whatever is going on between his ears nobody can fix it.

Praying that the after affect of this doesn't weigh us down next week.

De Gea awful
Williams not good enough for us.
James should go back to the championship
Dean let them have late foul after late foul with no yellows allowing them to kick us every time we had it
Ole should have made far more changes
The 2 extra days for Chelsea showed

Embarrassing but what do you expect when the management chooses our THIRD choice keeper.

I wouldn't be as bothered if we wen't out at the end of a good match, but we were pretty rubbish in truth. The errors at the back made the game so easy for Chelsea, all they had to do today was turn up and press a bit, really dissappointing.
I don't really want to point to particular players when the performance was bad overall, but how could anyone defend De Gea at this point? A new keeper is needed, whether Henderson is the man to come in or not it doesn't matter, it's gone on for far too long now.

Need a CB, a defensive back, and someone to help Bruno along with a winger. Team just isn't deep enough to fight on two fronts. Oh well, West Ham and Leicester.

Have to say Chelsea a player really well, they never gave us a second on the ball, worked none stop pressing us all over the pitch. We looked lacking in energy after playing Thursday. And now we play again on Wednesday. we made far to many mistakes today And couldn't cope with Chelsea’s press.
we clearly need some better Quality back up players to enable rotation without disrupting the way we play.

lets move on beat West Ham and get something at leicester and alls good.

We all expected this, which, paradoxically, makes it even harder to swallow.

Why have we suddenly started underestimating teams and go through the motions for long periods during games? Solskjaer claims he never wants his team to be out-worked. It’s happened three times in a week now yet the same personnel are trusted game after game. Time to ruffle a few feathers in that dressing-room now and bruise a few egos.

This season could end catastrophically yet after such great work recently in putting us into a great position on all fronts. So frustrating.
