Very poor performance, he has been poor for long time now, don't think it's just loss of form. We should either promote Henderson to #1 or at least should buy new keeper.

Useless. Time to go. Can forgive even a season of poorer form but you can’t cost the club for so long now like he has. Real shame.

He’s done unfortunately. Needs to be in the bench next year.

He’s a great keeper at times, but consistency is the biggest thing for keepers. Far too many mistakes.
350k a week to sit on the bench?

I don't think it's a stretch to say that the second goal is the type of goal you see when you're missing a player on your team and you ask a random dude who doesn't play football to be the keeper.

During a game on the weekend with your friends.

In the words of Keane “I’m sick to death of his goalkeeper”

I’ve been his biggest fan and defended him but unfortunately he’s done now. Could we sell Henderson and swap De Gea for Oblak? I’m not sure Henderson is good enough for United.

Henderson comes back to Utd as David needs to know there is genuine competition for the goalkeepers jersey

Wrong. If he drops De Gea, Romero makes a mistake, all the blame is on him for making a rash decision for the last two games. Next year it will be sorted, but it's impossible to sell De Gea now unless PSG want him.
Completely disagree. If De Gea gets pulled and Romero goes in goal I would think that 99.9999% of United supporters would understand why. What would be even worse is if he doesn't pull De Gea and then De Gea costs us against West Ham or Leicester. If that were to happen, then Ole would get crucified for not making the big decision to bench our #1...

A club legend. . . alright then.
He has won everything except CL, made PFA team of the year so many times playing for the club, played for nearly 10 years and most of them at very high level, obviously he is a club legend. Mental anyone would even argue that.

He has to know his performance is unfair to the rest of the team right?
How do we get rid of him now with a decent fee?
May be Athletico Madrid will take him if they sell Oblak to Chelsea for a decent fee.

He is a legend of the club in the same way Chris Benoit is a WWF legend.

Of course there were some good times, but feck me people will only remember how it ended..

A decision has to be made on this, a tired team plus a dodgy keeper is a recipe for disaster. But then bringing in Romero after not so long without a game could be costly too whilst the manager shouldn't just let this game slide.

Most bizarre drop off in form seen for a long time.

Almost flawless for years before that World cup, then a few dreadful errors there, and he's never been quite the same since.
Truly bizarre.

He's a complete and utter liability.

The last 18 months I'd be amazed if any keeper in world football has made as many ridiculous mistakes as De Gea. He cost us top 4 last season, he's cost us the FA Cup today.

If he isn't dropped he'll cost us the game against West Ham or Leicester or both.

He has to be dropped. This kind of form in any other position would lead to that, I've never believed goalkeeper should be any different.

It's his concentration imo, I don't know why but it's gone.

Bring Henderson back, give him the no.1 shirt and tell Dave he needs to earn it back. If he's not up for the fight, ship him out.

Looked away with the fairies at times today 2 bad errors but then 2 class saves. I’d be happy to give Henderson the short next year

It really can't do us any harm to have Henderson back next year and competing for the starting job. Either De Gea turns out around which is great, or we give Henderson the chance to prove he's the long-term answer and get some major experience. Win-win situation all round. I'll be the first to defend DDG, but it's the inconsistency which bothers me which has never been a part of his game. Won us the game against Palace, and cost us this one. Won't do really.

He should really be showing signs of getting back to his best by now, not getting worse. I think he lost focus, and now he's struggling to get it back. Hard to see it happening at United now. He perhaps does need the change.

I can't defend him anymore.
Yep, I was very much in the he's number 1, loan Henderson for one more year camp before today.

But that was yet another critical error, and the work on the other two goals suggests his reflexes have dropped off a cliff too.

Huge decision to make in the summer now.

It's a joke at this point. There are at least 10 better keepers in the premier League itself than him

So with you on this. I got angry every time reading people just willing to discard him but, after today, there is no way we can as a club afford to be sentimental. Henderson will be a gamble. He is very good but, playing keeper for this club is a huge ask but, we have no choice now but to make the switch.

I was going to argue about it being like what happens when the goalie gets a red or gets injured and an outfielder has to cover.

But then I realised that John O'Shea probably would have saved that shot.

It's been coming. He is no longer a Manchester United player in my eyes. We have wasted tens of apps on him in the last few years.

Mentally as feeble as his wrists.
Exactly what I said on here last week and got shot down by someone.

You can see from his body language he's heads completely gone, a lesser keeper would have been dropped and farmed out of the club sharper, it's actually becoming a joke he's still in our goal. I will give him the benefit of doubt with the third but all three of those goals were savable tonight and the second is something we've grown used to.

I'm fully expecting him to let all shots from range now, I just always feel he's going to spill it into his goal.
