Pogba and Fred alongside Bruno, with Matic on the bench

Pogba every time, maybe Fred instead of Matic

Dropping our only genuine defensive midfielder in a game we don't actually need to win is idiotic.

After last night, i'd drop Pogba over Matic or Bruno - maybe it would light a fire in him to affect the game from the bench of required.

I'd go with McTominay in a double pivot with Matic to protect the back four and push Pogba up the pitch to rest Bruno who was ineffectual last night. I think Pogba, Rashford and Martial have in them to conjure up chances against Leicester's injury ravaged defence.

Not if he's knackered. We know from last season how his form can plummet if he has nothing left in the tank. Both he and Bruno look like they've not got much left to give.

I said it already. Use Pogba as an impact sub so wheter its Fred or Mctominay instead really doesn't bother me

I don't want a Fred Matic Midfield 2. Maybe Pogba Free and Matic. Aim to control to Midfield. Glad I'm not Ole. No decision is the correct one if we don't make top 4.

I'm bricking it.

I'm expecting a back 3, so I don't think we can afford to lose the creativity by playing Matic plus Fred/McTominay.

It's going to be interesting no matter what line up we put out.

He didn't look any worse or more tired than Bruno and Pogba. Despite not playing well, i thought he was the better of the three last night.

I'd start with the same we did vs West Ham. People pay a lot of attention to Matic lack of offensive contribution, but they seem to ignore the immense work he does defensively. He basicly had to cover our whole midfield alone last night. Do people pay attention at all? At the end of the game, he looked like he wanted to fight his own teammates. I understand why. He was left to fend for himself vs the whole of West Hams midfield. Can't remember last time Matic had a go at his teammates.

Pair Matic and Mctominay in a double pivot and play Bruno or Pogba ahead of them. Whatever the formation Pogba should not start in the double pivot for this game. He's a liability in a game like this in that position

To be honest after the last game I'd drop both Pogba and Bruno to the bench. They're both knackered. May have more of an impact coming off the bench after an hour when Leicester are running out of gas. Have even considered doing the same with Rashford.

Offensive 4-4-2
DDG
AWB-Lindelof-Maguire-Shaw/Williams
Greenwood - Fred - McTominay - Rashford/James
Ighalo - Martial

Or

More defensive 4-3-3
DDG
AWB - Lindelof - Maguire - Shaw/Williams
McTominay - Matic - Fred
Greenwood - Martial - Rashford/James

Same line up as today. Hopefully Saw is back and Wan Bisaaka starts. We will win. We will have much rest that we have had for previous games. We will do very well against Leicester.

The 3 of them, Bruno - Matic - Pogba, have all been poor and looked gassed the last few matches but I'd probably go with this as well.
Yeah, also when we play too many games, Matic is always poor. When he has proper rest, he plays well.

Would go with Pogba, Fred, Bruno for next game.

Don't really understand this. Pogba has been brilliant since he has come back. Our entire way of playing has changed to dominating teams and he has been the difference to make it happen. One mistake, and bench him for the most important game we have this season!

De Gea made a big mistake and fans wanted him out of the team. (Although I don't think he is going to keep his place long term, he will start the Leicester game).

I would play the same first XI and ask them to have a go at winning it. Don't want to go into the last 5-10 mins with Leicester having a chance.

That's one way of ensuring we don't get top 4

Nonchalantly scoring the winner...

It's less than 4 full days rest. And our most important players are completely run into the ground.

Foxes will have had a week.

Matic has been very good and was not the worst one vs West ham.

Dropping him in a game we dont need to win is.. yeah not a good plan.

Start with Matic - Fred and Bruno. Have a fresher Pogba on the bench. He can come in and change the game.

Are people really scapegoating Matic?

He is one of the few players who has been trying to press us forward in the last couple of games, trying to show urgency and working his socks off while we are tired.

Christ, do people realise how important this game is? Posts about dropping Pogba, Bruno, Rashford are ridiculous. Their output has been fantastic and they could decide our Champions League future in one moment.

Just park the bus and get 0-0 draw, we don't need creativity in the next game. Just play defensive.

Yeah it is
Yeah what could go wrong when Leicester defense is weak and slow, we play midfielders with no one from wings running in behind, on the other hand deal with their strongest area which is also midfield with Ndidi, Tielemans playing.

You absolutely leave Pogba in, we desperately need a link from back to front and that's his role right now.

I'd consider shifting the formation slightly, and bring in Fred instead of Bruno to help solidify the midfield. Bruno has basically offered 2 interesting passes for every 45 minutes of limited involvement, no defensive output and losing the ball. Dude is fully gassed, no matter how hard he tries. Love him, our player of the year, but he's limping over the line.

Deepthroating information to Howard Nurse.
I’d play both Fred and Mctominay with Pogba/Matic on the bench to change things second half. We desperately need some energy in there. I don’t think think it’s a coincidence that since teams have got fitter and the tempo of the games has increased as the restart has gone on Matic has started to look pretty poor again. Everyone says we need backup up for him but really we should be trying to replace him as a starter.

Somewhere in your mind, touching a nerve
I’ll go with a 4 man midfield diamond with Martial and Greenwood up top. Rashford has been shit recently. We need some energy and legs in midfield.

I mean... play Pogba.. but, I really question Pogba's role since Bruno came. Sure, Bruno is brought to be the primary leader in terms of the offensive threat. But since he's come, it looks as though Pogba is just under no circumstances going to create anything himself. In that West Ham game, we could have easily played Scott or Fred or even Andreas, and our attacking wouldn't have been any different. That's worrying.

If this is the role Ole tells Pogba to play, I think he's largely putting unnecessary restraint on a great attacking asset. I'm not advocating that Bruno and Pogba both play CAMs - but Pogba is this clubs most expensive signing, he's the World Cup winner, he's the most experienced outfield player... I, and hope Ole as well, really expect more from him, than him just constantly passing to Matic/our defenders, and expect them to... what... I don't know.

I'm worried about the Leicester game. Can definitely see us playing for a draw, then conceding late on, and not knowing what to do. Splendid times, these.
