@Utdfrom2002 was an excellent commissioner last year but @okLaptop1 he wouldn't mind to do it either so just choose between yourselves. I'd suggest to use ESPN again just like last time.

Let's agree on rosters and bench size first, and then a date to draft. There's no pre-season so in principle we could even do it know, but there'll be injuries in training camp too so might make more sense to wait a few more weeks.

My personal preference is a PPR, 18 round draft:

1 QB
2 RB
3 WR
1 TE
1 FLEX
1 K
1 D/ST
8 bench spots

Most regular leagues are only 2 WRs and only 6 bench spots I think, that's definitely also fine by me as well but imo deeper leagues are a bit more fun.

Waiver wire could work through FAAB or just a priority system by which the person who hasn't picked up a player for the longest period of time gets to choose first and so on. Both are fine for me.

Let me know if I forgot anything important so I can add it in the OP.

Thanks @RobinLFC

I'm up for running it again as I can just reactivate the league and make changes to the members. But, @okLaptop1, if you want to run it, go ahead.

Never played such a deep league so not sure. But, am guessing the potential to get more from differential players increases in such a deep roster. Would prefer 2 WRs and 2 Flex though.

Last year was your typical standard PPR league with a roster size of 15 - 1 QB, 2 RBs, 2 WRs, 1 TE, 1 FLEX, 1 K, 1 D/ST and 6 BE spots.

How many team league?
At the moment it’s 12 but if you want in and we find another one, 14 is fine for me as well if the others can live with that.

I say go with this roster size. More bench spots means I can take Josh Gordon and pray that it'll all finally work out.

As for the date, let's make it as late as possible, to try and avoid injuries. And any time of the day works for me.

Too late to join?
Not necessarily. If @RDCR07 also wants in and the others agree with it, we can do a 14-team league. That would make sure we all play each other only once up until Week 13 and then have the playoffs in 14, 15 and 16.

Nah I’m good. 14 team leagues are huge and you’re scrapping the bottom of the barrel by the time you go past The 6th round

For drafting, I'll suggest a few dates below (all at 20:00 GMT):

Wed Sep 2
Thu Sep 3
Mon Sep 7
Tue Sep 8

I can do all of those. Friday and Saturday nights are a bit more difficult for me and I've got my home league draft on Sunday evening Sep 6th so cannot do that one.

I can make any of those dates work @RobinLFC

Is a week day going to be convenient for everyone though? I mean it’s fine for those of us on GMT but any US based peeps might be in work.

Happy with that. Prefer the standard approach to waivers and free agents.

Ah shit, hadn't thought of that. Let's see what everyone replies and otherwise settle for a weekend day if that's the only time that works.

Meanwhile I also got a PM from @rimzy (who can't post here yet as a newbie) wanting to join us. Together with @freeurmind that would make 14, but need to settle first if we go with 12 or 14 then.

I'm in New Zealand, 12 hours ahead, so could we possibly do 19:00 GMT (07:00 for me)? That way I can do the draft before I go to work. Otherwise we can do it Friday/Saturday night where you are, which would fall Saturday/Sunday morning for me.

I don't mind going 14 players, I'm cool if everyone else is.

Works for me - maybe the UK guys are already home from work by then and the US guys can do it during lunch break if they're East coast based, but not sure that'd work.

Happy with pretty much any of these dates. Somewhere between 1700 and 1900 GMT is perfect. Also happy to go 14 players if we all agree

Alright so let's get this rolling. Hopefully the season goes ahead and not many players opt out.

On top of the 12 members in the OP, I see at least 4 others are looking for a league. Including them, we have 16 members.

There's also couple of members from last year's league who are missing - maybe they are interested in joining?

I suggest we do 2 leagues of 10 members each - and some can play both to make up the numbers if needed.

Yea I think that sounds like a good idea, 16 people is definitely too many for one league.

I wouldn’t mind playing in both but would rather 12-team leagues if we can make up the numbers.

So if the above 4 are still in, that's 12 + 4 + Jagga7 + Robin + backofthenet + I can take another spot, which would give us 20.

If we get 2 more, we can at least do a 12+10 split. Any other active ones from the NFL thread that we missed?

If we are doing two leagues. Can we have one standard and the other ppr?
Depends on if there are many takers for it. Have been playing the caf league for 3 years and it's always been PPR I think.

Has it? I remember playing few years ago and it was standard. I am fine with either. But if we are doing two leagues, might be fun to have both options available.

We switched to PPR a few years ago, think 2017. I don’t care either way but would be easier to apply the same for my own rankings :wenger:

Oh and we need @Eboue to play. And where’s @anderson’sCat?

I started playing recently only, so like RobinLFC says, it's probably around that time when the shift happened.

Eboue is happy with his Dynasty League.

Ok what do you need? Email?
Yeah would need the email. Will let you know once I setup the leagues. Just waiting for confirmation from the others.
