Wow!
Matriac has given you a reposte as well as I could, so read that for my thoughts.
But you are overreaching greatly, just to hammer Ole. "going into his third season..."
He hasn't even completed one and a half.

Keep things sensible for gods sake.
That's my mistake. I must've hit 3 by accident. My post meant to say 2nd season.

Wouldn't complain if the sacking is done at half time. What the feck is our game plan ? Can't even string 2 passes together.

It's fecking backup players of Leicester.

You mistyped an 'r' instead of an 'n' as well then.
But look at the speed at which those two managers won things and imposed their style on the team. We're still talking about a transitional period for Ole as he enters his 3rd season. There's no way Barca or Madrid would have persisted with that.

A lot of the reasons to keep Ole at this point are "what-if" reasons. His success or lack of is being closely tied to his signings this summer.

Leicester will have to take more risk in the second half, as Chelsea are winning. If we do not capitalize on that and bottle it today, Ole will have a tough talk with the Board. Problem is that we look really knackered.

Dont mind if we get top 4, this has shades of last season. We're playing shit, and we will start next season like shit. This team is not properly coached, we play with pure inertia.

This game is drifting by. All it takes is one ball over the top. Ole needs to change something. Or else it's bye bye top 4. And probably bye bye Ole too.

Massive 45 mins.

Wish people would stop saying his signings have been great. We spent £50m on a RB that will be returning to Palace in a few years as he’s useless on the ball.

I’ll repeat Sancho and Grealish ain’t going to make a difference. Next season will look exactly like this. Rubbish.

I trust that none of you who rant and rave here will take part in the celebration when we win? Such impossibly rampant negativity. Talk about being toxic.

He literally shits on the ball. Would help if have a capable manager.

I don't think we should sack him even if we miss out on top four but I'd just like to say, Bruno aside, his signings have been shite. Maguire and AWB cost £130m combined and both are top six quality at best.

I think we'll get top 4. Which gives him another season. Hopefully a couple of new additions will help. We've got some cracking young players...whatever happens, a new manager won't have it as difficult.

I think he will get another season regardless at this stage. The run, overall since the restart has been too good not to.

I don't really think we'll win anything under him and I wouldn't be surprised if we implode again but if he can continue to get rid of deadwood, improve the young players and hopefully sign more Bruno's and less AWBs that's probably enough for another year anyway, cause I don't think any manager can catch Pool or City with this squad regardless.

A new manager ain’t coming in unless we finish out of the top four and by then the players that you are rating now will be classed as deadwood. It’s a repeated cycle of stupidity.

Thing is I'm starting to like the make up of the team. Much prefer the likes of Greenwood et al than Galacticos-lite. I just hope a new guy doesn't revert back to that old bollocks. I'll be happy with a top 4 next season as long as we're looking like a side with huge potential.

Don't suppose it matters if we get in champs league as we will never make it out of the group stages anyway.

Dread to think what the score would be if we were playing a top European side right now .

Seems his coaching ability is tied to how well individual players play. Make of that what you will.

It'd actually be a brilliant decision to get rid of him after this game. We're going nowhere under him. Relying on moments of errors or individual brilliance to bail him out and most importantly, we've no clear style. What kind of team are we?

Hey people like him As a person. He stays

Thank his individual brilliance errors saved us again. This match was never getting turned around by him. Even G.Nev was bemused.

I agree. This game v leceister reminds me of the night in Paris, where we did nothing the entire game and just waited for the opposition to shite themselves for us to win. This performance was mediocre, but we somehow got into the champions league with almost the same point as Moyes. Ole isn’t a top manager and even with large investment again, I don’t see us challenging for big honors because we lack a world class manager. We might become the new holders of the top four trophy though with few domestic cup with Ole in charge until the inevitable collapse.

Why hasn't he brought on Fred or mctominay to tighten the midfield??? Why hasn't he taken Bruno off who is so obviously tired?? It's things like these that make me nervous about keeping Ole next season!

He’s done the job. I don’t think he’s the right man, but he deserves another year.

God, what miserable cnuts you guys are. This is us at the end of the season, with games coming thick and fast and with little rotation because clearly Ole doesn't have a strong second string to rely on... Not to mention De Gea dropping the odd clanger to make it harder for us.

Our improvement in terms of recruitment, play, and mentality has been obvious. Why anyone would want to disrupt the ongoing process is beyond me.
