Same old.... start OK then let opposition back into game. Looks like tactic is holding on til late and hoping to get a goal on the break when they become desperate. trouble is, what happens if they score before "late on"...

Gary Neville is right: we are predictable. I'd add that unless Bruno has an excellent game, we look as ordinary as we did before he arrived.

Tell me again the point of Pogba... done almost nothing although I suppose we should be grateful he hasn't given the ball away in a dangerous position yet. Rashford looks exhausted, martial is a bit quiet. Wonder if Iggy should come on for one of them. Only Greenwood looks any real threat. Is Mata on the bench? If he has a good game, he might be able to open up their defence

Very worrying, especially with Chelsea going ahead just before half time. This feels more tense then any last game for years - even those we needed to win to ensure a title, maybe because those title-winning teams were so much better than this one

    Rashford has been poor.
Our defence are poor with the ball, and put themselves under pressure, by repeating passes while being closed down.
Wan Bissaka has forgotten what a ball is.
I hope they are getting bollocked in the dressing room.

Playing Pogba as a holding midfielder needs to fecking stop. You lose a good 40% of his ability so far back.

I swear its looks like Rashford is told to stay deep because of Albrighton's threat.

If Ole doesn't calm these cnuts into playing football this 2nd half he's not the right man for the job. This is vital.

Come on United!!! I dont want to watch lackluster Leceister in CL. United penalty will win this game imo.
Have Bruno Rashford and Martial drive into their box and Leceister will concede a penalty for sure.
I wouldn't mind a Bruno Penandes special myself

Leicester is pressing our CBs forcing us to start our build up with either Williams or AWB, both are really poor on the ball so we keep giving it away easily.

Why does Ole persist with that? are we waiting for them to gift a goal before he realices it doesnt work?

It's funny how Gary Neville doesn't realise his own hypocrisy as he's pointing out our poor coaching, and his solutions seem to be centered around the players needing to figure it out themselves.
After his time at Valencia he really shouldn't say something about poor coaching ever again.

Rashford has been really poor since the restart, the times he looked okay is due to Shaw but he had taken all credit.

His technique is hugely lacking for a top level player.
Sancho's arrival will put him out of team and bring Greenwood more in the center.

Bruno and Rashford off. Fred and Ighalo on with Pogba at 10 and Tony LW, we win comfy

Wan Bissaka with the ball outside of his own half is damn awkward
Or in his own half when is under pressure. The only time I am comfortable on seeing him with the ball is when the opposition just ignore him and let him have it knowing that he cannot do anything with it.

Wow, so negative here. I thought we did well in that half. Cagey begining. Moving the ball around confidently and controlling the game.

Leicester are sitting back in a game they must win to tire our forwards out till about the 80th min. They'll give a right go at the end. We are creating chances but nothing really clear cut at the moment.

Didn't think any of the players looked like they were bottling it or shying away from the ball. (Except DDG who is looking shaky!)

Finished the half strongly. For all the complaints about our play we still look much better than Leicester.
I’d say we look as sloppy as each other. They’ve had a few counter attacks that on their day they finish and we had a few glimpses of springing their shaky defence. Midfield has been a clusterfeck with no team seemingly wanting to keep the ball. It’s been a nervy game as expected.

I'm a bit surprised by the negative reaction here. We've had a couple of sloppy moments - for sure. But did people expect Leicester to roll over here? He's selected two strikers to occupy both centre halves, gone with a very defensively solid midfield and allows our full back to have the ball whilst Pogba is man-marked non-stop by Ndidi. They're set up really solid and whether people like it or not, we're still tired despite the occasion, whilst they're fresh.

We will need some individual magic to come off in the 2nd half and most importantly keep everyone well focused and defensively responsible. I don't see a clear option from the bench either.

Leicester have hardly been great I expected far more from them, if we can just take a little more care with the ball we'll win this

    Expecting nothing from Ole.

I've not had a single outburst watching this game - such are my non existent expectations from us.

People think there's something wrong with me due to the silence.

Our captain is probably the biggest chicken head out there. Not sure what Captain quality he has. Maguire will be Ole downfall

Why has Rashford turned into a BTEC Stevie G with his constant Hollywood balls? He also seems to be hovering around LWB with Williams tucking in. Push the feck up. You're an attacker, not a playmaker.
So annoying. People keep saying his role has changed, but I'm not convinced

Lindelof? He completely miscued a ball that Vardy thankfully put wide. And on a head to head sprint he had about 5 yards on Jamie Vardy and barely got to the ball first. I would watch this space.
He didnt miscue and most players will het out paced by Vardy its hardly a critism not being able to keep pace with him

Wan Bissaka had the same start as Darmian we bought years ago. Everyone raving on here how noone gets past him etc etc and ignore their footballing deficiencies.

Then the caf find out being a non footballer is kind of a big deal in the long term.

Sancho's arrival will put him out of team and bring Greenwood more in the center.
I really doubt that with him being the homegrown star that took on the government and won. Martial will once again lose out as always.
