And I'm all out of bubblegum.
The progressive cause would need to become the Dem establishment for her to ever have a chance. The Dems are more likely to get behind Buttigieg in the future imo.
She's 30, so she's got plenty of time. I'm sure Buttigieg will run again, and I bet he'll be the nominee at one point, but a lot could happen.

So close to half endorsed it. Was that in the RNC platform I wonder?
More than half the House Dems endorsed it, and so did many senators, and then they abandoned it once the race began. Like with many other thigs before ACA also, they like posturing to the left of where they are. The DNC people are straightforward in their contempt for human life which makes them better than the Reps and Senators.

At this point they seems happy enough to leave marijuana legislation to the states which is bullshit when you consider the amount of people incarcerated. I'm very impatient for it to be done federally but it will never happen when both parties are controlled by people in their 70's. And Tom Perez is a fecking dick.

So apparently Ed Markey was asked - first question in the first debate!!! - about online bullying by his bros, the same question Bernie got before Super Tuesday. Ilhan Omar sent out a mailer quoting all the donors to her opponent mentioned in an Buzzfeed article, since they are Jewish, the anti-semitism is back. (This is the mailer).

The Bernie and Corbyn playbooks will be used forever.

Also I wish Bernie had some fire in him:

It's genuinely mystifying, since the new cannabis business class would be an instant source of fundraising for the party. One of the cases where Biden's personal prejudice overrides business as usual.

Also, I didn't recall this till right now, but ancient-man-about-to-lose Ed Markey is for legalisation while his young replacement 43rd generation aristocrat Joe Kennedy is against.

This was a conservative anti-Bernie cartoon, apparently the LHS status quo is supposed to be the good thing

Apparently Minneapolis police identified the infamous "Umbrella Man" who started throwing stones through an Autozones windows and posted notes to incite violence and destruction.

Credit to Minneapolis PD for pursuing it: the man was identified as belonging to an extreme far right group and is a member of the Hells Angels and apparently was also involved in an attack on a Muslim woman sometime before that. Let's see if he ends up getting picked up/charged.

Markey looks like he's burned a few. Kennedy looks like the person that asks you to put it out in an open air concert.

I do wonder if junior researchers sometimes manage to sneak stuff like this in.

It works both ways. Republicans are against many of these issues so Fox posting the graphic is their way of getting their viewers to remain anti-Dem.

I get it, but on that tweet, being R or D, objectively who would not want womans rights or higher education for all and many others? The reality of some is warped

Probably people who think women already have rights and those who don't want the government to pay for higher eduction - or as we call them in this country - Republicans.

Can't have everyone with access to higher education, otherwise the GOP will lose a significant portion of it's uneducated base, like half my high school class that still live within an hour's drive of the hometown and would vote a rotted plant if it had an R next to it because that's what they always have done, vote R.
