Very much doubt it was Harris that made him change his tune.
The way he wrote that tweet made it seem like he's putting his own thoughts out there. There haven't been any recent developments yet other than the fact that we're still working on a bid that'd satisfy Dortmund.

He has been blowing Dortmund’s whistle also after the Harris report. He just writes what Dortmund brief. I know his dealings, always running around with German sources (only one he has) as gospel.

Weren't we all calling Fjortoft an idiot with no credibility yesterday
Tbh, it could well be that he was completely wrong yesterday and the deal is already done. He’s since learnt that, and is just trying to change his tune without a complete u-turn.

Napoli president Aurelio di Laurentiis talks about Milik & Koulibaly's transfer situations:
So much for that 50m figure I kept seeing floated around earlier...

French media have been steady in saying it's around 80m for weeks

I posted another Tweet before this that broke down how the 50 million Euro valuation came to be. In short, Napoli sent 4 players to Lille for 20 million Euros, making the total cost 50 + 10 for Napoli.

Is Osimhen that highly rated? a 70M transfer for a kid from France seems a really high risk transfer for Napoli. Considering how the last talents from that league have turned out. Nicolas Pepe, Dembele, Lemar, Ndombele, Malcom, Mendy. Only Fabinho and, arguably, Tolisso and Lacazzete have lived up to the expectation.

Another good reminder for people not to write off players oh so early. He was considered a total flop at Wolfsburg, and subsequently sold to Lille for 3m €...
Never even realised he had a stint at Wolfsburg. They wrote him off very early after a good loan spell in Belgium. Seems like negligence to sell him for such a small fee. Surely they could have loaned him again at least.

"Gattuso and Giuntoli both wanted him, and they convinced me to part with €70m. With bonuses it can rise to €80m, and if you consider the wages which rise over the course of the deal overall this is a €100m+ deal.

Jesus Christ, the transfer market is ridiculous. Players I've never even heard of are going for 80 million.

This is worrisome as it has a bearing on the market and conversely what we pay for Sancho. I can't see a world in which we get him for less than €120m. I think our likely focus is building in add-ons to make it more palatable, but doubt the headline figure changes. Hope we have a Ballon D'Or clause in there. I'd happily pay 10m if he won it while he's at United :)

That probably says more about your knowledge than anything

Never seen Lille play even in the CL? Osimhen is a great young striker

Skriniar is average to me.
Agreed. One of those players that PL fans seem to rate far more than the Serie A fans who watch him every week. I assume it's due to that standout season he had a few years ago when he was being quoted for 80-100 mil. His highlight reels look great too because he loves a tackle.

Simply put though, his lack of agility is an enormous problem. It causes him issues in the much slower-paced Serie A and I can only imagine what some PL attackers would to him. He's simply not made for a 3 man backline. De Vrij is by far the standout CB on that team. That's not to say Skriniar would be terrible in the PL, I think he could be quite successful in the right system (like a Jose low block perhaps).

Tanganga signed new deal, Vertonghen out, Skriniar in. Defence covered. Ndombele out and they'll bring in Hojberg for midfield.

Wow - if Spurs turn it down, I don't know who is more stupid . Offering Skriniar or Spurs rejecting it .
I must watch the wrong Inter Milan games as I really dont get the fuss about him at all. NDOmbele this season has had injuries, problems with the manager and very few opportunities. Whenever I have seen him he hasnt really got in the game for Spurs but you can still see glimpses of his quality. I think he is a top player and sometimes moves dont work out.

Obiously its a good deal for SPurs as they get rid of an expensive flop the manager doesnt like at all and get a centre back in they need but I dont think its a bad deal for Inter Milan at all if NDOmbele can get his career back on track as potentially he isnt far off world class.

They are far from fixing their problems. Their midfield is so subpar. Losing Eriksen has turned them into a bang average team.

He does not look like the same player this year. He looked pretty good before VAR when he could get away with being so dirty. IMO he is the grabbiest defender of the modern era.

He also has the turning speed of Luton Van and gets caught out too much for his supposed talent.
