Pellegrini is thinking about breaking his contract with Betis because of an offer from China. Jordi Cruyff would be the substitute

The Real Betis Twitter account responded to the story with this:
yes, I saw it. His agent also spoke at the chiringuito to say that he was not going to leave. I'm glad he stays

Reguilón changed his agent. Apparently the talks with Sevilla (Regui, Kubo and maybe Koundé) are broken.
A Madrid ITK said that he could go to PSG

The federation exceptionally proposes a league of 24. Great news for Depor, although most fans of other teams are against them.
I don't know what will happen to Fuenlabrada and Elche

I can see why Racing are arguing for a league of 26 - but I don't see them winning that debate. It's very hard to do these deals in a way that everyone will see as fair or even fair enough, but the 24 team idea sounds like a reasonable compromise.

Has Fuenlabrada/Deportivo definitely been cancelled (not just postponed)? If it has, then I guess the sixth place should go to them (on points per game) or it more complicated than that? Do they have a basic calendar for the playoffs yet?

The investigating judge of the case proposed to give fuenlabrada the game for lost, for sanitary irregularities(and the relegation to 2B), but the Federation committee refused. The competent one from what I understand.
The process continues without any decision.
Fuenlabrada want to play and have proposed a date, which at the moment has not been accepted by la liga.
On the other hand, Deportivo only accept to play if all the games are repeated, all playing at the same time, which has been totally ruled out.
La liga made a statement saying that Fuenlabrada agreed not to play the playoff and shortly afterwards Fuenlabrada said they did not resign.

Elche, on the other hand, were already punished years ago, relegated to segunda quite strictly ,so they will surely look for a solution that does not harm them. That's why I think they won't look for the solution based on points per game that you said.
There is no playoff date, as there were other cases of Covid19. It is also proposed to suspend the playoff, in this case Zaragoza would go to Primera

I've liked Arambarri for a couple of years now, and he's had a very good season this year. Seems Atletico are interested in him, which I think would be a great buy.

What do you think of him, @antohan ?

To be honest, you seem to have a better grasp of his recent form. I watched him in his early years at Defensor and remember thinking it was a shame we had players like him, Valverde, Bentancur and Vecino coming through just when Suarez, Cavani and Godin were aging.

We've spent a decade with no midfield and now go into a decade of having the right midfielders to service substandard forwards.

Lost track of him once he moved to France but he had a good head on him, fiercely competitive and with the attributes to compete with those three (+Torreira, who came out of nowhere to also stake a claim). Simeone would be a fantastic coach, right up his alley.

Not only Parejo but also Coquelin, and that's because Villarreal think they can get both for 18-20m€

Some Valencia veterans such as Ayala, Cañizares or Kempes have signed a manifesto asking Lim to rectify his management

this is the time to get kondogbia! @carvajal
Well, maybe you are right, although I'm sure that being us Valencia will complicate it.
Today an itk said two names (in case they get rid of Bale, James and Mariano) It seems very unlikely but ... Aouar and / or Caqueret

"Odegaard walks away. La Real almost give Odegaard by lost because Zidane is obsessed with him for next year.
Madrid communicate to Real, after the elimination in the Champions League, that they want to break the pact(loan for 2 years).
It's a journalist referring to a local edition from Mundo Deportivo

Now Villarreal and Valencia negotiate for Gabriel Paulista.
He would be willing if they offer him a long contract and respecting more or less his salary

The verbal agreement was for Odegaard to stay one more year at Real Sociedad, but I guess nobody was counting on the typical pandemia happening once every 100 years.

Surely now they get Reinier, or Brahim, although he was close to Betis. It's a good club to send on loan.
Best of all, Zidane personally called Odegaard, it wasn´t an idea from the president behind his back, and Odegaard seemed very happy.
edit: confirmed now

Real Sociedad and Real Madrid directors have very strong links. It wouldn't surprise me if Florentino chose to compensate them by sending some quality players on loan as you said.

Had it happened earlier we would've surely given them Kubo

I think Brahim or Reinier are a given. Possibly both

Borussia Dortmund the best positioned for the transfer of Reinier, although Bayer Leverkusen cannot be ruled out.
It could be for two years, as long as he can return the first year if Madrid wish.

A couple of days ago Peter Lim (Valencia owner) published this: “A bankrupt club is not a better club” – Peter Lim

now there are reports that the club is running out of cash and can't play their players: https://www.marca.com/en/football/spanish-football/2020/08/17/5f3ab4cde2704eb30c8b459f.html

That explains why they are giving away some of their players more or less for free. What happens if the players don't accept these IOUs? Can they just leave for free? This could get really ugly.

Can Reinier only play as CAM or also as winger?

Dortmund used to play 3-4-3 last year with two wingbacks, two CMs, two wingers and one center forward, so there wasn't a real position for a CAM.
They are also filled with young talents and i don't know if another talent is the right thing for the team and the player.
As long as Reus is injured their attack will most probably be Haaland (20), Sancho (20) and Reyna (17). They only have one other center forward and that is the only 15 years old Moukoko (he was already promised the spot as Haalands backup). Additionally you have the 17 years old Bellingam in midfield.

I'm not sure how much game time Reinier would get in this team.

If Havertz leaves Leverkusen, he could certainly easier get a spot in this team.

A few hours ago, Favre spoke about Reinier's positions. He defines him as a 9 and 1/2, or a false nine, on the wings or in a 4-1-4-1, although as you said he looks like a CAM.
It seems that it is almost decided that will go to Borussia, let's see if it's a good loan

Reguilón is a finished product doing well at Sevilla. Trying to get him on a loan surely looks a little bit naive even in the middle of a pandemic.

Fascinating predictions in this statement:

The second reason, which is even more important today, is the impact of Covid-19. The impact of COVID will be serious for the next 2 seasons. It has disrupted the global economy. At VCF we will see the following effects financially:
• TV rights money could be reduced by up to 30%
• Commercial (gates and sponsorship) income will drop by 50%
• Total income is likely to be halved
Anyone wondering why big transfers won't or at least shouldn't happen this window need read no further.

A lot of clubs could will go bust if this scenario or worse plays out.

They have to wait since there is a conflict among Deportivo, Fuenlabrada and Numancia.
Probably next week.
