And the best midfield with Pogba and Bruno.Add to that the most expensive defender in the world. With the right manager we should be challenging.
Our starting front 5 will be:
Rashford
Martial
Sancho
Pogba
Bruno

Our backup front 5 will be:
James
Ighalo
Greenwood
Fred
Mctominay

We still need to bring in another midfielder at a minimum.

Has @Nou_Camp99 been banned from this thread? Did a search and couldn’t find his posts in this thread.

Would be golden to quote his high and mighty lectures a couple of months ago about how everyone is too stupid to understand this deal would never come to fruition.
I am gobsmacked we are paying 120m for him, installments or not. Happy to admit I called it wrong. I wasn't the only one though.

He's a very good player also but not sure he's worth that much. Feel like we do pay too much for most of our players. Pogba, Maguire and now Sancho.

Honestly yes, it's possible.

They let Lingard, Mata, and even Greenwood at times license to drift to the left from RW. AWB is often isolated on the right keeping width. James is perhaps the only one that try and keep the right width more consistently, while Greenwood mixed it up between cutting in and keeping width.

It's as if the coaches just let the players be.. trusting the players to decide by themselves where they want to move..
And there's a reason now why they don't play. Having licence to drift and not doing anything at all while you do are two different things. With Greenwood having 2 such good feet, why would you isolate him? defenders have literally no idea where he's going to turn up, and he causes havoc wherever he plays

As for the second part, I doubt if it's an organic style. Everything is rehearsed and planned

Maguire was a weird fee. But Pogba and Sancho were always going to cost mental fees.

completely disagree. Unbelievable player at a very young age ... many Dortmund fans are pissed they "only" get around €120m for him and I can't even blame them.

We have overpaid a bit recently because we are desperate and have $$ and everyone knows it. Once we secure Sancho i think we'll be able to sit back and be picky as we'll have a really good squad. The tables will turn a bit i imagine.

He's one player that actually deserves overpaying for, unlike Maguire at least.

It will pay of in a season or 2. He's that kind of a player. In this kind of business you don't care how much you pay unless of course it's an obscene amount.

Tasty front five. I can see Greenwood being a regular and at least playing as much as Martial soon enough. Nice little selection headache and fantastic age and what seems to be bonds among these players too.

Your name is cool. Like something Oral B and Pimp Lotion would use.
I mean he has been great but a pay rise after 4 months?
It'll be close to a year by Christmas. If his 'form' is not actually form, but his level, we got a £80m+ player for a lot less and it won't be long until he's paid like one if that proves to be the case.

1. What is the plan?
Kagawa behind Rooney? We didn't plan to get RVP?

2. Mkhi central?
I remember he play across all three positions after Auba at CF there with Dortmund. He's that flexible, skillful and versatile, no problem at any positions. He can even play B2B #8.

Just curious.
Kagawa was clearly originally going to play off Rooney yes. Then VP became available, and when you get that opportunity you take it, simple as.

Mhky was the biggest wet weekend every here. He couldn't really play any of the positions well, except for some decent europa displays.

Still, the point remains Sancho is totally unrelated to either of these, except from the team he is coming from.

Who would you say is amazing out of interest? Out of the world's U21 year olds?

For anyone saying we are overpaying, you do realise he would likely have cost £140 million in a pre Covid world. €120 million is a massive discount which reflects the current market. As I’ve said repeatedly, If you think we have overspent you haven’t seen enough of Sancho, I think he’s nailed on to be one of the best players in the league.

Remains to be seen whether he lives up to this huge price tag. Let's hope he does.

Nobody but us would pay that fee would they so that says its not the best value. Same for Maguire. Which other club would have paid 80 to 85m for him.

Yeah I think people look at played like Ziyech and Werner and think other clubs got 'good deals'. But these players aren't his equals in terms of ability. Whether he fits in immediately or takes some time to adapt, he's a proper elite talent the kind that that are hard to find.

We don't have to praise one by criticising another
I don't think even Maguire's fans thought he deserves 80m. It's not criticizing him or anything it's just stating an obvious fact that's all. If we ever overpay for one play, Sancho is the one, he deserves it more than the 2 players he mentioned (Pogba and Maguire).
