Yes, we agree. Just wanted to point out that you need to set it up poperly and fitting to the personal skills of a player so the player can shine. Sanchos decision making is indeed great, especially in the final third and when you assure that you keep the pace of the game high, and especially when consider how old he is. But of course its always possible to feck things up by doing mistakes and errors in coaching and preparing for certain opponents. Sancho still got to learn a lot, its not like with him everything is only gold and he will solve every problem on his own. I can get the euphoria in here, for a reason, but maybe its time to talk about him a little bit more balanced and objective. He still needs to have vision if the opponent got the ball, he needs to adapt timing better in a phase of pressing, he needs to see the danger for a conceding goal earlier and travel back with more effort (like when the opponent got the ball in his first third, or the midfield, or lets say if he looses the ball and expose his own team), a thing Marco Reus for example is great in. He needs to adapt better and learn how to behave if the opponent lets you run free into their final third but then plarking the bus so that there is no space for pace.
He has a natural talent for the mentioned situations in the final third mentioned above, thats true. But there are still a lot of thing he could learn, things he could see better, or where he needs to get more complete. The talent, the pace, and the technic is there, but there is still a lot to learn. He is capable of doing that, no doubt, but it will take some good coaching and tactical advises so that the can raise from a natural talented streetfootballer into a true worldbeater.

Looking at his compilation of goals and assists last year.. I see that it's a lot of tap-ins.

Glad to see these types of goals are only an issue when it comes to Ronaldo, but everyone else it's still a goal.
Im glad I'm not the only one who saw this. He had about 2-5 goals from RW, some few well timed crosses alongside alot of free crosses where there is 3 attackers per 1 defender and the rest is all tap ins.

I wouldn't mind if I'm wrong as it's for the benefit of us (like I was with Bruno Fernandes who I doubted a bit due to me seeing his consistent risk taking that sometimes wouldnt be pulled off) - but I will like to wait to see him play for us before i get hyped up.

Anyway, until Sancho signs, I'm enjoying myself reading RAWK.

The debate there about us is something else.

They’re getting giddy and delusional again. Only a matter of time before they start coming back on here, whether it be as unjustiably gloaty Utd fans or Utd fans pretending to be Liverpool fans. Once Sancho signs they’ll be pouring in here in droves, only to completely disappear when the actual football starts and Liverpool and City race out ahead again in the distance, which they surely will, and Utd are scrambling for 4th again, which they surely will be.

It’s pretty amusing that they actually think there’s even a scintilla of a possibility that they could seriously challenge for the title next season. Their team is lacking in almost every criteria you can think of for a side that wants to challenge arguably the two best teams in British football history. How are they going to get the best out of their front players if they can’t even play a high line with that dreadful back five they have? Maguire, Lindelof and De Gea could hardly be less suitable for a team that wants to play on the front foot and win every game, which is pretty much what any team challenging will have to do, with the crazy standards Liverpool and City are setting. Then their full backs. Klopp and Guardiola recognize how vital quality attacking full-backs are if you are to create space and break down the parked buses week after week. Pep is obsessed with buying full backs for that very reason. Utd’s full backs are generally poor on the ball.

The next step for them, in terms of a title challenge, is moving to a more possession based game. They’re not going to make significant progress the way they set up now, sitting deep and utilizing speed on the counter. There’s only so far you can with that approach, and if Sancho settles and opposition teams start sitting deep against them to neutralize their pace, Utd will be fecked because they have shit full backs and are not equipped to keep possession, hem teams in and work openings. The hype about Fernandes is just that, hype. He’s a moments player and his stats are generally quite average. He gives the ball away far too much for a team that needs to go to the next level and become a possession side that dominates the ball. No discipline and plays too many high percentage passes. He’s not good enough to play for us or City. It’s actually great that they think he is the answer when really he is part of the problem.

As for their front players...in my opinion Martial and Rashford will never be more than good but inconsistent players and Sancho...well, I’m not sure that giving 250,000 a week or whatever it is to a young English player that will be on his 4th club already and has a questionable attitude is a wise course of action, but it’s their club. You want hungry players signing for the project not coming for the money. This just seems like a continuation of what they’ve been doing since Ferguson left. Impossible to believe that Sancho is actually enthusiastic about the football side of this move and developing under Ole.
Nice poetry.

According to The United Stand the fee has been agreed with Dortmund, confirmation will come in 1-2 hours
You mean, that compulsive liar who even lies about his actual name claims to have access to the internal deliberations of a German football club? Wow, never saw that coming.

Yeah to be honest, 250 a week is fine by me.
Considering Martial got that when, to be honest he was massively inconsistent for us, and considering Shaw is on 200k a week from what I remember, this doesn't look bad
That quoted fee was proven to be false. Papers bullshit.

He does have some reasonable points, much of which we've discussed in this forum though, you don't agree?

Playing a highline requires pace and a sweeper keeper

Our fullbacks are defensive full backs though that's not a bad thing necessarily as we can afford to keep our attacking players higher up the pitch.

The bits about Martial and Rashford and Sancho coming for money are delusional and just bitter.
We have more players playing for the shirt in our team than they have. Sancho knows he will be a starter in a team that is not far from challenging and fits his profile.
Fernandes while a good player definitely has his flaws, he needs to learn not to force it atimes. Against quality counter teams we'd get slaughtered.

Drawty’s next tweets say that it could be a few days before the news “filters through”

or in other words it will be announced when it’s actually completed.

I don't get it. Are muppets so desperate to hop on this bandwagon, that they are resorting to photoshopping fake convos nowadays ? Feels like there's literally no time for ITKs in this saga, things are moving along smoothly and normally

Well, I unfortunately came across this article on Liverpool.com of all places while searching for news on Jadon Sancho

https://www.liverpool.com/liverpool-fc-news/features/liverpool-premier-league-transfer-news-18711582

Firstly, why is a rubbish article on Liverpool's official site coming up on a Jadon Sancho search, I'll never understand.

Secondly, it actually comes across as incredible Rawkish (read as pathetic), with the whole 'You may have Sancho etc, but you wish you had our defence, huh!?'. Feck off you insecure clowns with your rubbish combination of 1 title smugness and inane suicide inducing poetry bullshit.

I feel better now.

The insecurity is clearly visible. So much for the so called Premier League Champions*.

They. Are. Worried. Etc.

The latest Athletic podcast is a bit more realistic about things (filmed and released today)

They say the stories from yesterday are just from Germany, and United’s stance is different and that things aren’t that far along.

Also said that Dortmund are thinking of waiting until next Summer to try to create an auction because they think that they can get more money when clubs are financially stronger and competing against each other more.

Has Stephen Howson started his patreon exclusive contents yet?

Ha! I actually love this window. Less time for the ITKs to make bullshit or imaginary stories and profit of them.

My guess is this will be done in 3 days at max

RAWK is the most antiquated looking forum. Are all scousers blind or something? It needs a facelift you rotten cnuts. Or do scousers only bother to do anything every 30 years?

The Athletic are pretty trustworthy no?

Sounds like they're pretty certain in that article :nervous:
