Is this next season's home kit for United?

It's OK. Will be glad to feck off chevrolet.

I bought a 1950s / 60s plain red long sleeve, white cuffed shirt off toffs a couple of weeks ago. That'll do me for a while I think.
I’m thinking of something similar, something like the 90-92 away top, bit lairy but I had one back in the day, my kids often buy me the new top for my birthday every year but I’m thinking of just going old school and sticking with that... frees up funds for new pants and socks.

Looking at the shirt now I think it looks decent all things considered. Not great but not terrible. Ok I guess.

Thankfully yes. Think some of our kits would have looked a lot nicer without Chevrolet, it's amazing how much the sponsor ruins it. Especially the one Rashford and Alexis are in below.

I never got the excessive hate for the Chevrolet logo, as I don’t think that it ruins a shirt significantly more than other logos. Chelsea’s new sponsor is much worse, for example. But looking at sponsor-less shirts is so painful, they’re just so much better! I’ll always remember our Munich anniversary kits, even though we had lost a derby that day, they were perfect.

The hate for the Chevrolet logo has long been absurd. Wait until its replaced by some indescribable Chinese brand next year and then we will have something to moan about.

I know the hate for it has been heavy but it is undoubtedly horrible, IF they had permitted us to change the colours to all white or all black (like some other sponsors let other clubs do) then it wouldn't have been half as bad.

The bright yellow/gold has been a total eye sore. I'm really keen to know who will be the front runners after Chevrolet move on, i guess that will be worked on over the course of next season.

Edit; Something like Audi's logo would be a nice sponsor imo and they are an existing sponsor I believe.

I think Audi got binned when we signed the Chevy deal. I imagine it was a requirement of the sponsorship.

The deal is already done, no? I thought we had agreed the Haier sponsorship?

We best get Nike back when this deal is over.
I have no faith in either Nike or Adidas to create a nice shirt for United.

The way they spin it in the release video's that it's created for a specific historic reason relating to United etc is a load of b8llox as well. They both just give us generic strips that many clubs have and print it in our colours, so so disappointing 99% of the time.
You watch our home strip will be rehashed and printed in different colours for another club.

Fabinho's forehead
So did they all use the same cup? Or did they send their samples separately?
Same cup, from the club's badge. :D

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has made “DNA” a buzzword at Old Trafford and the Red Devils’ latest design from Adidas seeks to buy into that by “using the threads of the club crest itself to produce a subtly patterned base fabric.

United have produced a “nuanced design through an innovative ‘space dye’ technique that allows separate yarns to be dyed individually, and at different lengths, to give a finish with depth, and with full details only viewable by the wearer”.

The Premier League heavyweights have also produced shirts specifically designed for children as they look to acknowledge and embrace the next generation of a loyal fan base.

It's for children. That's why it's colorful. The grown ups who plan to buy it should only do it for collection purposes. If they wear it, they will automatically be classified as a full kit wanker.

nike is just as lazy, but their off the field stuff is really nice and modern fitting. The adidas stuff is way overpriced And never fit right. I returned so many stuff because the sizes were never consistent.

I will be waiting for potentially the 3rd kit if the 2nd is that zebra dazzle camo that was knocking about a while back.

I just got a long-sleeve 92 away (11 on the back), and it's absolutely beautiful - bought it on a whim, and didn't realise just how much nostalgia it'd bring me when it arrived in the post.

Where did you get it if you don’t mind me asking? The shirt I’ve seen is from a website called Stella kits but not sure on the quality etc.

Three things we should never have on our kit:
  1. Betting site
  2. Non-English lettering
  3. No countries (like Barca with Qatar)

We haven't had a nice home kit in ages imo. Both Adidas and Nike have done a terrible job imo

Same place - I wasn't sure either, but all the reviews I read said the quality was great but that delivery etc was slow. Took about 3-4 weeks from ordering to delivery, but given covid etc I thought that was pretty good. Really happy with the quality - only thing I'd say is that the fit is a little on the small size, not significantly so but enough that I'd probably order a size up if I get another shirt from them (very tempted to)

Ok cheers, what with lockdown and my subsequent alcohol intake I might go a size up.

Really cringe when the design is apparently "inspired" by all kinds of historic crap. I mean, I get it, our club has a rich history, but to incorporate history and fashion altogether like that gingham monstrosity and now this? Why can't we just get a simple and professional design like the other clubs?

Am I the only one who couldn't care less what they look like. Maybe because I don't buy them anymore and haven't done for years I suppose.

I will never get the OTT critique of a football shirt though. Its not a fashion item guys It's for running around and playing footy in first and foremost.

Just ordered my home kit from United direct online with the premier league badge on the sleeve. Certainly wasn't getting the Carabao cup badge. Not as good as last season's but it looks decent. Much better than the 2018/19 home kit

Seems very unlikely any automotive company will be in a position to commit to a massive sponsorship like we would demand, given the state of the industry at the moment. But simple ones like Audi, Tesla, Jeep, etc would be fine if it would happen. Give the current state of the economy though we might end up with an Amazon instead.

Looks very plain. Would have been cooler with the stripes all the way down the arms.
