I think some were not built for the Internet and the constant refreshing of threads and twitter feeds makes them think 1 day real life is about a week and just gets them more frustrated.
Have you tried to unplug and replug them? Maybe frameworks updates failed to start?

Poor in the sense that we have pissed away a lot money on deals that turned out terrible, sure. But we have spent more money than almost any other team in the Woodward era. The problem has been that we've had very little to show for all the money we've spent on transfers and wages (including several record deals), not that the owners have been penny pinching for "business purposes".
I think that's the worst thing about it that we have nothing to show for our investment. Spending so much and being so far behind City and Liverpool of all teams makes it so much worse as well that when I see the investment being so bad, all my anger is directed towards the people making the investments and managerial appointments.

Half my family lives in Alta. The obsession you guys got with animal genitalia is not sane.

Anyway, i blame Jan Åge for most things that goes wrong already.
How do you say in Norwegian “In Manchester already they are anticipating parties. On the internet, slow people repeat the phrase “Time for removal of horse penis!” This signifies that they are happy.”?

Nevermind, probably wouldn’t have the same ring to it.

Gotta say fella's the last few pages has totally lost me, I couldn't tell you if we've made any progress reading through that lot.

I am trying to work at the same time though...

Are you so sure about that? I mean, he has pace and flair, but is he really a brilliant winger? If so, what does that make Sancho? An über-super-duper-brilliant winger?

Here's a statistical comparison between the two, for some added context.

Zaha:

Sancho:

But sure, we should sign Zaha and Grealish instead.
Zaha is one of the most overrated players in the league, I don't get all the praise. Lower-mid-table level.

You tell me, what is his job?

1. If he is in charge of the negotiators, then he is responsible. Unless you are Woodward yourself, it's widely accepted in the football world that ,we have been useless with negotiations since Fergusson and Gill left.

2. Who gave Sanchez and De gea such silly contracts? Who extended Phil Jones's contract given his injury record at United? Who extended Rojo's contract?

3. Who refused to pay 60 million for Maguire and ended up paying 80 million?

4. If you think that is defensible then I can't help you.

Woodward is ultimately responsible as CEO and if those he delegates keep making mistake after mistake and he does nothing about it then he is incompetent. I can't believe there are people who defend this guy. He is a joke.
1. There is a Chief Negotiator called Matt Judge. Why is Woodward supposedly still responsible?

2. These are not related to transfer negotiations.

3. That was a vote of no confidence in Mourinho rather than a reflection of the club's position on Maguire. Again, this is not connected with how transfer negotiations are conducted.

You started off angry about how transfer negotiations are handled but you haven't referenced one actual negotiation saga that was not handled well.

An example of this would be paying over the release clause for Fellaini, but that was due to Moyes.

I have no particular feelings about Woodward, but I feel there is a lot of misunderstanding about what he does at Utd.

I replied to one poster who suggested Zaha and Grealish instead of Sancho. I should feckin' hope nobody else would prefer that option.
They'd probably suggest we buy back Fellaini and Cleverley as well.

Woodward is the problem. He doesn't have the skills needed in transfer negotiations and makes Manchester United look embarrassing and amateurish . Its clear to everyone that he is not good enough for that job yet surprisingly he clings on to it. David Gill wasn't like this. If people are still defending him then we have a big problem because United need to conclude more than 2 deals this summer, and dragging the Sancho deal will impact on the other deals. I feel embarrassed for him especially with what happened with the Harry Maguire deal. Refused to buy him for 60 million and ended up paying 80 million for him. He is not competent and it's about time the club set up a new recruitment team and act like a big club. His transfer dealings are an embarrassment to the club.
Trust me I am not even a woodward fan and have bashed him many times but this is not a straightforward deal for it to be completed in one go. It will be done and hopefully done soon.

As for gill, I always feel he was extremely lucky to have sir alex with him.

Everytime it sounds like it's going smoothly you get this counter narrative to keep it interesting because ultimately for many people this story can get boring really fast. So it don't really matter what they say. Even if it was all done? They wouldn't have to tell anyone just yet.

Guess you were not around when we missed out on the likes of Lucas Moura, Hazard, Sneijder...."No value in the market" right?

On the topic of a neutral agent, this could also be why the deal is progressing quicker than usual for Utd. Of course a neutral agent would be quicker than our negotiating team

It’s not mysterious code, I cannot fathom why no one understands the tweet?

It’s been common knowledge over the past couple days, United are looking at paying 70 upfront, 30 next year & 20 in 2022

Jesus, how is everyone making a meal out of this tweet?

Calm yourselves down
 Calm down

I think they are only taking the piss here mate

It’s unbelievable and frightening that we have fans with this mindset.
How anyone in their right mind can think choosing Zaha and Grealish instead of going for Sancho is a better option is beyond me. It’s baffling.

It‘s like people don’t understand what a true “generational” talent is. It’s exactly that. A player that comes round once every generation.

Back in the day if Brazilian Ronaldo R9 was available. I can imagine fans saying they would rather get Harry Kewell and Emile Heskey instead of R9 because Inter are asking for too much money. Incredible.

Absolutely, yes.

But I fail to see what this has to do with the Sancho transfer, in particular. The Glazers don't care about trophies for the sake of trophies - they care about making as much money as possible from their asset. But they have - demonstrably, undeniably - provided funds for record breaking transfers and wage deals on multiple occasions in recent years. They sanctioned the deal which made Maguire the most expensive defender in history. They sanctioned the contract boost that made De Gea - by far - the best paid GK in the world. There really isn't any reason to think they won't sanction a big, fat deal for Sancho either.

The "delay" some people now moan about could simply be down to details being worked out. There will be plenty of details in a huge transfer like this - it really isn't something to get worked up about at this stage.

At the shareholders meeting before the pandemic became as such, Woodward and the board were talking a majority of the time about our mentions and interactions on social media platforms, at a time when we were well outside the top 4 and in a bleak position and run of fixtures. No hope offered for future investment or indication as to the future direction of the club. That's all that matters to them, it's fairly evident.
I wouldn't look much into that at all.
