This move will only end in disaster.

He has never coached at any level before.

Can’t see them winning the Série A next season.

Wasn’t he only just appointed u23 coach? Does he have any sort of coaching experience at all? Every other ex player that’s been appointed has at least had some degree of coaching.

Well that wasnt preplanned in any way...

Could be a masterstroke, most likely a disaster. I wonder what these coaches like Zidane and Pirlo think when their players cant do what used to be second nature for them.

They quite literally just shot themselves in the foot.

Really? Does he has any experience?
Not that I'd written him off, some of the best manager today start without any experience too and become instant success.

I imagine it’s less of a problem at Madrid and Juventus.

However any ex players dropping down the divisions must just give up in sheer frustration.

Do they? Which ones? Most of them have at least coached a youth team. Pirlo hasn’t even taken charge of an u23 game yet.

Another very weird appointment in a row. I don't know what Juve are even thinking to be honest.

If another Italian team doesn’t win Serie A next year, it really will double confirm how horrible that League is.

Yeah at least we’ll get an answer to the “ is Serie A a one team league “ question.

Truly bizarre appointment

Ronaldo get out of there. They can't be serious about ucl with this appointment. Pirlo shouldn't accepted it but good luck to him.

Come on lads, if that effortlessly handsome devil doesn’t inspire the players, nothing will!

Personification of cool this guy.

And the UK needs the Rooney rule? Italy might need to go further.... quite astonishing. His experience is just 9 days of U23's without a single match/likely practice session.
