Never said they did or didn’t. It might just be media but I’ve only seen stories about them missing out on players so far. Just going off what I’ve read.

I know you didnt. The point is they don't need anyone so it's irrelevant if they have money or not.

Willian will be solid for Arsenal just as he was for us. But I don't think he improves their first XI at all. Just provides them with better depth.

As a rival fan I'm glad they will sign him instead of a player who will take them up a level.

Theres no way an Italian player would pick us over Pirlo led serial champion Juve.
I suppose, given the choice, Italians prefer to stay in Italy which is a real shame as we will miss out on some quality talent (Tonali, Zaniolo, Chiesa, etc.). I guess we only got Darmian (not comparing his skill level) as no other top Italian team was in for him?

So you think these stories about them going after Werner aren’t true? Personally I think Liverpool should definitely strengthen their side if they want to compete in multiple competitions again next season.

The cost is low cause the chance for a bidding war is less. He doesn’t want to leave Italy and he will end up at the top club in Italy within the next 2 years.
We are better than any top club in Italy, and besides if you don’t try, you will never know

Erm. No we aren’t. And secondly he has said before he doesn’t see himself leaving Italy. Same with plenty of Germans and them wanting to play for Bayern.

Oh no, absolutely they wanted to sign Werner. My point is they aren't desperate. They have the luxury to wait for the right player and price.

Thankfully we’ve got Robertson and he’s in for cover. Difference with Moreno was he was signed to be 1st choice and we ended up having to play James Milner there.
He looks excellent based on YouTube and if he can keep that form up it’ll be a great relief to have proper left back cover.

Moreno looked good on YouTube at Sevilla from what I remember, he looks to have good crossing ability which is important to us but as long as he can defend a million times better than Moreno did that’s all I care about.

He's a free transfer, we aren't signing him instead of anyone.

You're already loaded in attack (in terms of numbers) without Willian. Are you guys after additional attackers?

I think we are talking wthin two weeks not years. As for the price staying low as he wont want to leave his country, madness isnt it, if only it worked the same way on our league. I could undestand it 10 years or so ago when the number of hugely talented young English players was small in comparison to other European main countries like Germany, but now there are loads of them so isnt like every major premiership club is fawning over a couple of players

Yes, we really struggled against bottom half teams. I'm expecting at least another attacking addition - probably Coutinho on loan.
