I didn't think season 2 was as good as the first. For a court room drama there was probably 15 minutes in the court across the whole season. Still, I enjoyed it on the whole. Might just be my taste though, I lost interest in Suits as well when that moved away from being a court room drama.

I've heard season 3 gets 'weirder' still but will give it a watch.
Yeah I'm 4 episodes in and was wondering when there will be more court room stuff. Sad to hear it won't have much, but still good watch so far.

It is a good watch and a good season but very different to season 1 and not the sort of show I thought it was going to be. One of the later episodes, either 6 or 7 is just bizarre - you'll know the one I mean when you watch it.

What the feck am I watching right now???
Hahahaha I have no idea what they were thinking with that one! Dunno if it was meant to be a wacky bottle episode or what. Doesn’t do anything to drive the story either.

I gave up on Goliath in season 2, even though I’ll normally watch anything with Billy Bob in it. The weirdness just didn’t work for me, especially with the antagonists.

Can't remember who recommended it or if it was in this thread but if you watched the show Narcos on Netflix and you re interested in learning more about the whole Kiki Camarena murder I highly recommend the documentary " The Last Narc" on Amazon Prime.

While you may question whether the witnesses being interviewed for it are all fully trustworthy themselves in this (given their own questionable backgrounds) - it does paint and support the picture the whole thing smells - more so even than the way it was portrayed on the show. Fascinating watch.

I love The Shield, watched it from start to finish 3 times. Will watch again in a few years time. One of the best series I’ve ever watched. Brilliant.
The last season is awesome and the finale.... My wife and I sat in the dark for about 20 mins in awe afterwards.

I finished the second season of Patriot. I liked a lot the first one. The second seemed an exaggeration in the style of the show. I probably would have seen a third season but it got canceled.
Now I'm with Rain, in the third season. I'm not the biggest fan but my wife and son really like it. I think they are stretching the story too much.
When I finish it I will surely start Cursed

Yeah it was the most weirdest turn I've seen in a while!
I'm interested to see what season 3 is all about because it's like seasons 1 and 2 are complete different series the way they did it, there was really no meaningful follow up on the first season, which I kinda understand, but what a weird way to go.
Anyway, still hopefully of season 3. I also hear that when season 4 drops it will be the final one.

I finished the Korean political drama/ zombie horror series Kingdom, which I really enjoyed. Then I've immediately started watching the American series Kingdom, which is also great (but nothing to do with zombies or politics). Anyone else seen it? I'm half way through season 2 now.

Oh, and Kiele Sanchez

Anyone seen this yet?
The Fugitive (2020 TV series) by Quibi.

7-8min long episodes! First time i've heard of such short series. Not very good ratings on Imdb surprisingly, as there is a very decent cast to it and the trailer looks good. Jack Bauer is in it. (That's his real name, don't know who Keifer Sunderland is.)

Hope the bad ratings are because people don't like how short it is, than it's actual quality

Been watching Hannibal this month. Nearly at the end of season 2, enjoying it so far. First season was more episodic/"villain of the week" than I expected (or wanted it to be, really) but it uses that format to great effect and has now almost completely ditched it.

If you want a police procedural drama with instantly unforgettable horror images and a dose of psychological thrills then I'd start here. Three seasons of 13 episodes, all of which are on Netflix, with a fourth season rumoured to be in the works once the pandemic is over.

Also, it has Mads Mikkelsen and Laurence Fishburne, so.

Yeah. I then ventured into fun sci-fi shows like Warehouse 13 and Eureka and have seen most already too.

Now debating between Person of Interest and Fringe.
I watched all of Fringe, its decent, gets a bit out there but 5 seasons is not too long.
I enjoyed person of Interest, but it gets a bit repetitive, even now I can't remember the bigger picture at the moment.

I think Fringe is probably one of my favourite shows ever and the performance from John Noble is incredible. Anna Torv is quite good in it as well. There are some sticky moments and some flop episodes and I think by season 5 it was fighting for survival with Networks hence why it feels a bit abrupt and weird.

Coincidental just started watching it again from season 1 all of 20 minutes ago.

Walter White got nothing on Walter Bishop.

Fringe is a nice little show that could probably acquire somewhat of a cult status over the years. John Noble is excellent in it.

It was a good replacement for anyone missing their X Files fix

Just finished The Tiger King - very good if you haven’t seen it

Now going back through all the This is Englands - for me, one of the very, very best things ever filmed.

Anyone seen Seven Seconds? It's on netflix I believe.

About to watch the last episode. While it is a sensitive topic and all round okay and a good watch , I found, aside from Regina King's acting and a few others, the scripting has been poor in certain parts of the episodes and lacking of reality in too many instances for my liking. I understand some fanciful things are needed in fictional stuff for suspense and the like, but it just irritating me more than anything else. Also, 10 episodes is at least 2 or 3 too many.
I am hoping that it ends well though. Will edit as in about an hour and 20.

EDIT:

The ending..So as not to spoil others: Do not open spoiler if you intend to watch it.
I feel like I wasted 10 hours for nothing really. I know what they intended, wanting to show the reality of life and how the system is feck up, especially how cops get away with shite, but nah man, it really left a sour taste for me. Just wanted it wrapped up in a bow or something. But yeah, guess the ending is more true to reality, and a better message. Not that it is going to change anything.
