If the information on those moves are available I'd say it's interesting to get a glimpse into what goes on in the lower tiers. More so than the 367th tweet of the day from some tier 9 journo on how Jan said we are speaking to Messi's grandfather via a ouji-board.

Besides, many of our youth players go on loan to those clubs.
Exactly. It’s one off tweets about a lower league player rather than recycled tweets days on end about sancho or Messi

He's just bullet pointing the AS article, not his sources.
The Regulion rumours feel like BS.
"Football league" under Championship doesn't mean anything to most people, even to many UK-based Utd fans, and that's not really a subjective take.
His posts were certainly more interesting than yours, and relevant to this thread.

They were actually football league posts being posted in the “football tweets” thread, allowed by the owner of the site. Note i didn’t say “united tweets” or “premier league tweets”.

The rest of your post is subjective depending on whether you’re a wider football fan or just a transfer junkie.
Admins seem to always want to defend Fridge. This thread is just better now that he's gone - not saying he's not a nice guy, just that most people had no interest in reading his lower league tweets.

Real Madrid coming in for Dani Olmo so soon? Somehow, I doubt it.
If he goes there they will chew him up and spit him out in less than 12 months. He won’t last in Madrid. For the sake of his career he should stay at Leipzig.

So we’re willing to pay the money. We’re just sorting the formalities of the agent fee before ‘bidding‘, so that once the bid is accepted, it all goes through within days

Im so torn on this policy...I KNOW its the right thing not to cave to agensts fees, but at the same time imagine our side with Haaland and Sancho in it....we would be right back up there. Tricky one.

What’s happened to @Fridge chutney in this thread?
People seem a bit sensitive given the disappointment with Sancho (fingers still crossed on that potential transfer!) so I've taken a step back. If we have a good summer I'll post some updates later on because there's a lot of interesting movement in the non-Prem professional leagues.

I'm glad that you'll be coming back. Personally speaking, I was quite tempted to post some of the Wigan-related outgoing transfers; much of their activity has intrigued me.

Anyways, back on topic: Diangana looks likely to sign for West Brom.

Fullback - replacing Chilwell or is he a RB? @Foxbatt
He's mainly a right back, but he has played at left back on several occasions. He could be coming in to replace Chilwell at left back or to fill in wherever he'd be needed. Having said that, he's not much better than the full backs that they already have. Maybe he can play on the left ahead of Fuchs and in place of Luke Thomas or on the right in place of James Justin.

Hope, We Lose
Looks like Atalanta have made another good signing in Cristian Romero from Juventus.

EDIT: added formatting to not confuse others
Was my realistic (not someone as sought after as Upamacano etc) suggestion as a possible available CB for us. More great business for Atalanta I think.

Wait, we've progressed from possibly considering preparing a bid to just preparing a bid.

Defcon 4 has been reached. This is not a drill, repeat not a drill...

De Laurentiis: "From now on, if there are important offers we will sell all, I understand that Italy guarantees nothing to anyone. The fans and I have to live from day to day, that's what they ask of us. I was wrong not to sell Koulibaly for 110 mln pounds".

Haha this guy talks so much shite.

He's just a bad businessman, he thought Koulibaly valuation would go up and he refused to meet with lower offers.

Koulibaly is now one year older at 29 and they'd be lucky to get a deal for 60m pounds.

Juventus are choosing to evaluate Rolando Mandragora at Udinese for one more year before deciding to buy him back.

So glad we didn't get KK because of this guy. Happy with Maguire .

Yeah I know what you mean but not sure whether we will be in the race for Haaland in a couple of years when that release clause is activated

Does anyone else scan the foreign language tweets just looking for buzzwords like "MUFC" and a player name? Or maybe it's just me? Which is weird because I'm pretty handy with languages but I get lazy with the Italian ones especially.

Put together a detailed proposal and run it past the lawyers, accountants and banks.
I am pretty sure it’s not just “running past” them, but rather providing bank guarantees / comfort letters, so that it has a legally binding nature from the financial standpoint. With a large deal, it’s perhaps not that easy

That Goldbridge gimp popped up on a youtube auto-play earlier on today and before I knocked it off he was saying this would be done within the next two weeks.

I assumed he was talking out of his hole. This could be still on, then?
He is actually pretty well connected at the club.
