Good to see, always had a soft spot for Norwegian football when I visited Oslo (was checking out Valerenga stadium at the time too) and Helsinki a few years ago. Can see Norway making a few World Cup's and Euros in the next 10-15 years, also Odegaard is another fantastic talent who's living up to his promise now and could turn into a world-beater yet.
Thanks!
My local team here is actually Vålerenga.
Yeah. Hope this team qualifies for some big tournaments. We already have a good chance against Serbia.

Forget his goals, he wears a black Stone Island hoodie. That's enough to call him a great for me.

I think he's a fair way above Rashford, Martial I'm not sure though

Think his next move is Bayern and then Madrid
He's a footballing Ivan Drago. His touch isn't always the best and he's not particularly elegant to watch but there's no comparison between him and Rashford and his desire for goals surpasses Martial's by a fair distance. Our players are more skilled than him - Martial in particular is as natural as they come - but the guy's mentality and hunger is on another level. You pick up your phone and expect to see his name on the scoresheet every time. How many times does that happen with a 20 year old?

Unbelievable player. He really is. He’s like Ronaldo Fenomeno with less skill, but more brute force. We’ll win the World Cup if the lad continues developing like this!!

Has the truth come out on why we missed out on him?

what realistic chance do we have for signing him when he moves next? I suspect he’s destined for Madrid.
Could be RM, but Haaland has expressed his desire to play in the PL in the future, and if Ole is still around, I think we have a fair chance of signing him.

The reason why he chose Leipzig - by his own words - was in the end his gut feeling. He said he wanted to go somewhere where he felt wanted by the whole club, not only by the manager. If you look for context - on which his gut feeling may have been formed - we were in a situation where Ole´s position looked somehow unsafe. There was a report claiming that Haaland sought a promise from the club that Ole would not be sacked, but I don´t know if there is anything in that.

What is a fact, however, is that most United fans had seen Haaland in one game only, and that was in the CL game against Liverpool where Haaland had a bad game. So they went on social media, and in here as well, to express their lack of desire of signing him. That could very well be part of the feeling not being wanted by the whole club.

Not being wanted by the whole club - one could speculate - could also be the contract he was offered, without that infamous release clause.

I think we’ve probably missed our chance to sign him if Barca Bayern Real or even Liverpool go in for him. Ole is the last card we have left to play because he’s got his choice now where he goes. I’d imagine Dortmund are working hard behind the scenes to get his clause massively increased or taken out of his next deal. What a player! He’s like a cheat code.
None of those teams can afford him nor will they be able to within the next couple of years.

That´s only if it´s correct that he´s release clause kicks in two years from now. The only source for that is Bilt, and I have not seen this confirmed by any other reliable source.

Think Bayern & Real will be sniffing around when they want to replace Benzema and Lewandowski.

Can't really see who else will realistically buy him. Man Utd need a right winger more than a striker, Arsenal can't afford him, Chelsea have Werner, Spurs have Kane and can't afford him.

Possibly Liverpool if they sell Firmino and splash the cash. Or City want to upgrade on Jesus.

Most likely it'll be Real or Bayern.
My fear is City will be in for him next summer as a replacement for Aguero. I'll be absolutely gutted if that happens. Hopefully, Bayern buy him as Lewandowski's successor!

It's already 1 year in. It activates next year. Football's not gonna be played in front of crowds until 2022. The Spanish creditors are not lending anymore.

He reminds me of Christian Vieri in his prime but with more pace.

In two years, allegedly ( seach for it, and you´ll see that´s the info circulating on the nett).

Probably a lot of truth in what you speculate, especially on media fuelled OGS uncertainty at the time.

Imagine having Rashford Martial, Haaland, Greenwood and Sancho as an attacking unit?!

Might have to sell one to keep them all happy.

That would be tasty!

Thinking hypothetically, would you swap Martial and Greenwood for Sancho and Haaland? It would make an interesting vote and I'd imagine very split opinions! I've still not been able to make my mind up!

Sure. But even if Olly is still around then, why would he come to us, when he didn't last time? Why didn't he join us last time, given we obviously wanted him, Ole was the boss and would certainly have given him plenty of games?
His dad explained it a few months ago. He said Ole was the only one that really wanted to sign him, there wasn't a collective effort from the club. At the time Ole's future was in serious doubt and they didn't want to move to a club with a potential managerial change. Uncertainty at the club is never good for a young player's development, especially for a teenager moving to the toughest league in the world.

"You have to go to a club where the whole club wants you, not just the coach.

"I think that's the most important thing, in addition to how the club has been over the last five or ten years and what direction they've taken."
The second point is also an interesting one. Project and direction is important when players make their decisions. That's why it's vital that we get Sancho this window. Not only because he'd improve us massively but the knock-on effect is massive. We'd send a serious message to all young players that we're on the right path and this indeed is the place to be.

I think Ole was scared to sign him as the norwegians he signed at Cardiff strongly contributed to him failing.

At least he took his goal well. I was happy to see him come up, but that was unexpected.

Should have moved heaven and earth to get this guy at United. He was terrifying against NI tonight.

He would have transformed our team. Suspect he ends up replacing Aguero at City

The only one he reminds me of is the NFL player Gronkowski. I’ve never seen a footballer with that physicality/pace combination before.

He is at the right club for him. When he is ready for a move there will be a lot of big bids and I expect Bayern , United, Chelsea and perhaps Real to he chasing him.

And by that point we will have a more developed Grenwood. Interesting times because quite different players despite both love scoring goals.

Not sure he tranforms our team at the moment though. Young player. Still developing. And we need to develop our all around play.

If we got sancho I think we’d have a better chance of bringing in haaland and other top prospects. Go at it that way. We are the next stop for top young players breaking through. Haaland, Upamecano, Camavinga. World class ability. Will the glazers pay the money? Maybe, probably not. I wonder did we mess up the last deal badly? This guy is what we thought we were buying when we went for lukaku. A bully who’s fast, strong, can get onto things and has great finishing. He reminds me of Ruud. He just lives for goals.

Games like Sevilla, when we are dominant and playing great football but can't get the goal? I reckon Haaland changes the game even as a young player. That's what we are really missing upfront.

When he does leave Dortmund you are right, every top club will be desperate to sign him
