Didn't want to sell him yet you posted saying he was available just after he got his increase???

You're a smart one
Because Asamoah dropped and loads of LBs that I was interested in we’re going.

I was in a position where I would be relying on Tierney on loan so I had one season to sort LB.

I don’t want to sell my best players but didn’t see any other way to get a good LB. Everyone who I spoke about LBs kept Saying they wanted Rodri so I posted to say he’s available to see what deals could be made.
Pogba is 93 yet Rodri will be 94 soon. Seems legit. Nice deal for you, though.
Pogba has been playing at a United side that has been consistently outside of CL football. Rodri’s club is consistently title challengers and are far more likely to win the CL. Add to they Busquets’ decline and you have a starting DM for club and country entering his peak years at a top international and national club.

Edit: I’ve never said Pogba also can’t rise? What a straw man!

Also I said in the near future. City could win the league and Rodri will play those matches when fit that’s him to 93 bare minimum and I could see him getting 94 too.

Very tough for DMs to hit/break the 94 barrier. See Henderson - he couldn't even make it to 93 when the reviewers are Liverpool fans.
I agree it’s tough and perhaps I may be in the minority on this but I see Rodri as being a better player than Henderson’s peak.

I wouldn’t be at all surprised if by the end of next season Rodri was 93 rated whereas Rabiot for me is peaked which is fine as Reguilón is a good LB who hopefully can kickon.

Mind you he got injured Iast night

Doesn’t seem it. At first he was very audibly in pain but likely just a strain. He posted that he’d be back soon so can’t be too bad but it happened pretty much within an hour of agreeing the deal  Just my luck!

Why don't you go support City if you like them so much?

Screwed over by the schedule again. I don't think there is any team who has faced a Division 1/managed side in the cups over the past few seasons more than I have. Everton in the first round of the Shield. Run over before it has even begun.

Everton first round and they’ve got arguably the best squad on paper in the league too.

Good luck with that one

Loan Cap (S14 and onwards)
  1. Applies to unmanaged clubs only
  2. Loan cap = FFP minus 40, first come first serve (e.g. if your FFP aka squad limit is 50, your loan cap = 50 - 40 = 10, which means you can only loan 10 players out to unmanaged clubs)
  3. Duration for the above - until Turn 2 every season. After Turn 2, it is free-for-all
  4. HARD RULE: Only players with rating 75 and/or above are allowed to be loaned out - if you spot someone breaking this, tell them to recall the player

Thanks to greeny for the template from last season.

Was so soon after this that City's squad tanked (four days later Aguero was exchanged for Jovic). Team top won the title, team 4th, 6th and 12th finished in the top four, while the teams in 5th, 16th and 17th got relegated. Biggest achievements were Cardiff finishing in top four and Hereford finishing in top 10.

If my team is the best hope then you have got big problems winning the title. But as we both know thats not the case.
Oh for sure I'm in the top three teams expected to have a shot of winning the title but Everton are favourites. I never do well against MG so that's why I'm saying you're the best hope of knocking him out of the cup.

So lately i've been thinking about organizing a youth league for U20 players. I know this has been brought up and discussed before, but never actually tested.

This would basically work like the regular league does, where participants face each other once or twice during a season, and the team with most total points at the end of the season wins. Matches would be played on days when no other competitions take place, in the form of friendlies. You yourself would arrange all of the friendlies at the start of the season, since Damo cannot do this as far as i know. Only players under 20 years of age are allowed to participate in the matches, a violation of this would lead to automatic walk-over and a 3-0 victory to the other side. If both managers violate this rule, the match ends as a 0-0 and no points are rewarded. I could keep the league table updated.

The prize for winning it: I was thinking that the prize could be automatic first place in the next draft, irrespective of the winners squad value. Obviously this would mean that all managers have to agree to this.

What do you think guys, would this bring more excitement to the game or is it unnecessary? Would you participate?

Yeah, it sounds good but I won't be able to participate due to my youngest goalkeeper being too old.

Probably a good thing as Mbappe, Trent, Sancho etc still count as U21 for now.
