No suggestion anything has changed. Sancho will not be a United player this summer.

Sancho will be a United-player at page 911 of this thread. Or friday 11th. Nice

I'm sat here with tears running down my face into my bowl of Kelloggs Crunchy Nut.

I cant't believe it's finally here. Sancho Day!

A stock market bump caused the title change, so disappointing.

Secondly for £108 million we should be getting someone who can change matches on his own which he so far seems unable to. May be this is the reason for our hesitation.

Keep a clean shit tomorrow, United is my final bus
This thread has the Thiago saga from years back written all over it.
Feels more like the Sneijder or Vidal sagas to me. I felt both times that the caf was getting excited over absolutely nothing, and since Dortmunds deadline I've felt the same way pretty much. The talk over this one is down to absolute scraps and I think it's only still mentioned because journalists know there's a bit more meat on this carcass in terms of clicks to be had.

I didn't even realise he was playing in either of the recent England games, hope that's not a sign of things to come if he signs!!

If not Sancho, who can “change matches on his own” and would be available for £108m? Nobody that I can think of.

Despite Sancho’s stature, his transfer will always have an element of risk given the cost of acquisition.

His presence needs to be felt as much as how Bruno’s presence was immediately noticed. Pogba does have his invisibility cloak on in certain matches but his skill level and mastery for reading the game almost makes up for it. I’m not sure if Sancho has the same repertoire of skills and breadth to his play but I could possibly be proven wrong.

Interesting times!

Not anyone I can think of. De Bruyne, Salah, and Mane in the EPL regularly change matches on their own. I am thinking a player who is ready to make a step up like them (when they were bought) for £108 m. I don't know if Sancho has the ability to make that step.

Your posts scream "I've only seen him play twice for England"

Yes, a 20 year old with his whole career ahead of him, who will still improve, with stats only bettered than arguably the best player of all time in Messi, wouldn't be worth 120m.

Sneaking suspicion it'll be done at the weekend with a Monday announcement. We'll likely see at least one more deal, but I doubt it'll be Reguilon. More likely a central defender. Badiashile or Pau Torres for 40m.

He Definitely does. He has been sensational for Dortmund the Last two seasons . On the Salah point I remember a few people (Liverpool fans and a lot Of United Fans ) being a little Dubious of that Signing ,with Mane there was a whole thread on here with more than a few saying they didn't want him at United , And De Buyne like Salah didn't set it on fire the first time round .Sancho Performances for Dortmund speak for themselves, Internationals are a completely different beast ( Ask Messi) . This Guy is a game changer . oh and Happy Sancho day Everyone

Here we go, fans starting to doubt him after couple of poor games.

This was international game, majority of these players have not had the chance to train and get fit, it was more like a pre season game.

He played in a defensive system in the last game, in a 3 with Kane who most people think we should sign so.

Finally, we do not make decisions on a £108m signing based on 2 England internationals. You would scout the player for months before even thinking of paying that fee. One bad game does not change that.

So is it just me who has no idea what "explicate" means?
explicate
/ˈɛksplɪkeɪt/

verb

  1. analyse and develop (an idea or principle) in detail.
"an attempt to explicate the relationship between crime and economic forces"

It either means Romano is too tired to explain what he was going to say, or that he has developments on the Sancho saga.

I only watched highlights of Sancho and with highlights it shows you the good bits. Like a lot on here I wanted us to go for it and sign him. I decided to watch the England games and see the full version of what he was about. Underwhelmed is the best I can say.
Then I think of other players Miki and Kagawa who looked the bollocks in Germany, but couldnt cut it for us. Dembele and Draxler, 2 other players I rated havent faired well either leaving Germany.
Has Pogba really lived up to his large transfer fee? £108 million is a lot of money to spunk on a player. Would we do better spreading the money around on a cheaper RW and a better CD than Lindelof?
Is Sancho going to be a game changer, which we thought Pogba was going to be? Bruno came in at a lot cheaper buy and has proved he is. Isnt there a Bruno priced RW or LF attacker out there with the same game changing qualities?

I understand the England game was not the one for him. Did Kane look like a £120m striker? No. Did Trent look like the best RB? No. These are pre season games, I know they are competitive matches but alot of these players have hardly had a pre season.

The comparison with Miki and Kagawa is not really the same because Sancho is still only 20, his output over the last 2 years and other England games has been brilliant.

How do you rate if someone has lived up to his fee? Is Pogba United's best player? Possibly, 4 years on so you would say his fee is justified.

Any Cheap RW will cost £50m and a very good CB will cost £60m again will not be certain that they will improve the team.
