Think it's cities, with the next 3 places could be any of United, Chelsea and Liverpool in any order, but you'd bet on Liverpool to finish 2nd to be safe. Think there will be less points between 2nd and 4th than there is between 1st and 2nd.
Arsenal 5th missing out norrowly and Tottenham 6th, because Mourinho.

My hearth predictions (PL table, the transfers will not happen of course (not as long as Woodward and the Glazers run the biggest club in the world, but we can only hope the thhe sooner then later (when it's to late) realize that this corona transfer window is our chance to close cmthe gap between us and Liverpool, City and unfortunately now even Chelsea + the other stronger clubs in Europe)) :

My predictions(PL) would be much more realistic if we, but mustprobably not, buy a:

Lb (Reguilon or Tellas) 35m

CB (Upamecano) 60m (60m needef if want him this summer)

CDM Partey 40n

CM VdB 40

Rw Sancho 130m

Backup RWD Michael Antonio 10m (1year left on the contract and roumers sags he is available for less then 10m) I believe he would be a great addition to our offense in games when teams parks the bus. With all running around the box from Martial, Greenwood, Rashford, Bruno and now DvB, it will give our fullbacks much more to put in good crosses (Reguilon can do it even under pressure but if Shaw and AWB gets more time since our opponents defensive will be busy coving all runs from our attackers + Bruno and DvB it should improve our crosses in to the box a lot). And Antonio is great in the box even though he is "only" 180xm and 82kh, he has very impressive physics, I will try to upload a picture. Anyhow, he has scored 36 goals and provided 10 assist in 133 games on his 133 games for the Hammers and he started 107 of them.
Westham has scored an a average of 50.6 the 5 season he had been there so his stats are decent for.a club that is playing very defensily and often using Antonio as target player so he give time to players to join the attacks. In United he will be much closer to the goal, if don't play him as a target in some matches if needed. Also wants good is that he will be very happy just to me a part of the team, his wager won't be high and he would probably accept a contract like 2+1 (with is being the one deciding the 1 year extension). He also used to the Premier League.

...and we have added a world class GK in Henderson (after watching both Spain last 2 matches in Nations League it seems he has already stepped up now. HE knows that he can't afford more big mistakes and this "competition" between them is a wlnwln situation for both players and for us a club). He was absolutely world-class in both of Spains matches. Even Luiz Enrique "asked" the media why they didn't put his performanced on their first page in same way they do when he makes bigger mistakes

Total spending: 305m
I would use this transfer window and spend the money we plan to spend this and next summer and only buy next summer some squadplayers if we really need it, but this window, because many clubs don't want to spend because of Covid-19, can benifit us a lot. Next year, we wont have a have chance on Upamecano, Sancho will have offers from not only us like right now (Bayern, Real Madrid, Barcelona. PSG, Liverpool (if they sell Salah or Mane), Juventus (who will try to offload Ronaldo next year probably).

1. UNITED
2. city
3. abramovich
4. liverpool
5. Everton
6. Arsenal.
7. Wolverhampton
8. Leicester
9. Tottenham
10. Sheffield United

We would of course need to load of a lot of dead wood to bring back some go the money we spend this summer and ger rid of some ridiculous high players I sometimes forget play for United (Rojo and Jones for example)

Sell:
Romero 10m
Rojo 10m
Smalling 20m
Dslot 25m
Fosu-Mensah 5m
Andres Pereira 15m
Mata 15m
Liingard 20m
James 15m
= 135m

Prompt (give more regular chances in example the League Cup and early stages of the FA cup, or if we secure advacing in the Groupe stage I CL. 1-2 of them should always be on the bench in PL games where we play teams that we "should" win easy and bring them on as soon as we kill of the game):

Mengi
Laird
Garner
Hannibal
Dillon Hoogewerf

... And a have big hopes for Shola Shoretire. But maybe this year would be 1-2 years to early for him. Dylan Levitt would be on the list but he has joined Charlont for a season loan.

Sorry for the long text, I know many of you won't even read it since I'm a newbie, but I have only got one like I 3-4 years here have spoken to some "newbies" that have posted good posts for years but is seems we are not the forgotten ones haha, can someone please help me out on have to write or any other tips are welcome since I really wanna be able to be more active in here.

Thank you for reading my post, hope something was interesting at least!

Wow, 5 zolpidems, 2 whiskey and 40 mg oxy (against backpains) and you think you are smarter then everybody in the football world, but yoiu guys need to give some High Fuves for that text after all that substances and no sleep last 30hours.

But I still agree with some of the things my fked up brain came up with last night and the thing about the newbie part, i barely see anyone get any Thumbs upp on their posts - ive gotten one so far - come on guys, make a Swedish supporter happy, what is it 4 likes to pass the newbie stage?

Unless we manage to buy Sancho and a new CB, while staying injury-free, then I can see us scraping fourth.

Seriously the people who think we will finish above Chelsea are kidding themselves. They have a better starting 11 han us and much more squad depth than us.

They don’t impress me, we finished above them last season despite a terrible injury crisis. Plus if we had Bruno all season the gap would have been much bigger. If they’d have strengthened their defence and signed a top gk then I would be worried. I am also assuming that we will strengthen further so I am optimistic that we can finish above them although I believe that the top 4 will all be much closer in regards to points.

Their signings need time to gel and it’s Lampard as manager. They’re relying on an aging Thiago Silva and bang average Chilwell to improve their back 4. It could be a rough first few months for them.

I have a feeling that Liverpool will implode. Although the brain says they will win it again.
I don't expect City to be stronger without having signed anything good.
They need Aguero fit and ready to have a strong claim for the title.
We could challenge them, but will drop too many points in games we should win.

Literally the same thing. I really really hope they implode, the arrogance of Klopp, players and fans to think oh we don't need to strengthen and we will walk the league again.

Some fans saying to me, whatever we, buy or don't buy under Klopp we will always challenge for the title, the complacency is what is killing it.

Like you said, City haven't got that much stronger, lost Sane and Silva and replaced with Torres and Ake. Ake wont play unless Laporte is injured unless Ake plays LB. Ferran is a bench player.

Aguero cannot be trusted with injury and Jesus is not good enough with Aguero, Fernandinho all a year older now.

This is why if we get any sort of form going, Ole needs to compete.

Amongst footballing managerial 'Gods'
Anchelotti would be a GOD if that happens!
Leceister did it by luck. Pochettino came very close without luck. It is possible.

since the season will start tomorrow, I can make a prediction.

Manchester City
Manchester United
Liverpool
Chelsea
Arsenal
Spurs

City has not really improved but they have a excellent manager with a great philosophy. Manchester United has one of the strongest first eleven in football, so I can see us putting up a challenge if everyone stays fit. If they don’t, I can see us dropping out the top four. If we get Sancho, I can see us winning the league because Liverpool and city has remained static. Liverpool will remain competitive, but not to the level of last season. Chelsea hasn’t improved their defense and it will hold them back, despite their good attack. Arsenal and Spurs will improve slightly, but not enough to make top four. Arsenal under Arteta could make top four if they get more favorable decisions. Spurs are lucky Pochettino gave them Kane and Son, because they wouldn’t be so high on that list without them. Dark horse for this season will be Everton, And leeds

Sorry for the long text, I know many of you won't even read it since I'm a newbie
Chin up! Within 5 months of your join date newbies were given permission to post in the mains, as you've done with your two posts in this thread. Don't take it to heart if nobody responds, I've been humbled by the breadth of knowledge and insight from numerous posts, but I don't see it as necessary for me to make a comment along the lines of ''+1''.

I can't speak for everyone, but four months ago I wouldn't have been able to tell you the name of 20 posters. My feeling is the majority will skim read a post (irrespective of status) and only if they get a good impression will they take the time to read it in its entirety whether that's one sentence or 10, 000 words.

Don't allow your status as a newbie to determine your self worth.

but I have only got one like I 3-4 years here have spoken to some "newbies" that have posted good posts for years but is seems we are not the forgotten ones
Have you considered contacting the staff members via pm to see what's required to get a like?

can someone please help me out on have to write or any other tips are welcome since I really wanna be able to be more active in here.

Send a private message to the scouts, and who knows, maybe they could go through some of your post history and evaluate the content of your posts. Tell you where you've gone wrong, and what you could use going forward.

Have some confidence in yourself :) it isn't necessary to call yourself a know it all, nor claim your brain is messed up.

My predictions(PL) would be much more realistic if we, but mustprobably not, buy a:

Lb (Reguilon or Tellas) 35m

CB (Upamecano) 60m (60m needef if want him this summer)

CDM Partey 40n

CM VdB 40

Rw Sancho 130m

Since you were so disheartened by not getting a response, I thought I would make a brief assessment of your post.
By your own admission, your prediction isn't realistic. That's telling the reader not to take the post seriously.
Your post would be more appropriate in the ''What do we need'' thread,

Think top two is pretty set. Think even in a bad season for them and a good season for chelsea or united they'd still finish ahead. Think Chelsea have a better squad overall than us so will finish ahead. We'll see how signings settle. They bought a lot of players though so its hard to see them all failing to improve on what was there.
Think there'll be a decent gap between 4th and 5th with a close race between Spurs, Arsenal, Wolves, Leicester and Everton. Think Mourinho will just grind out a few more wins than the others. Think Spurs fans will probably be the least happy despite that because the football will be shite. Leicester don't have the squad to keep up imo, they'll finish bottom of that mini league.

Think the schedule will heavily favour teams with a good squad over a great first 11. So City, Chelsea, maybe spurs to benefit more than others there.

I'm so out of the loop regarding transfers but why are so many people confident on City? Miles behind Liverpool last season and another disappointing CL campaign. What's changed? Is their defence really sorted now?

I'm going for :
City 10 points clear
Chelsea
Liverpool
United
Arsenal
Spurs

Liverpool will crash and burn, no way they play a third consecutive season of that many games at that same intensity.

This season looks like it will be a squad game and not a first 11, so I fancy City. Chelsea have a lot of players to gel and maybe more to come in. Wolves are free of european football (I think) so I fancy them to knock on the door. Spurs will do OK if Kane and Son remain fit and healthy.

Transfers mean feck all, its getting them all settled and working together as a team is a whole different thing!

I think Frank will actually turn some of the younger lads against him and cause some unrest and a mate made a valid point earlier that they've a woeful record with marquee CF signings... Kezman, Shevchenko, Torres, Morata... Werner could well be next on that list.

Starting 11 I'd say is similar in quality with them having a better balanced attack while ours I always feel is off and lacking creativity and some differences in the front 3. Get the feeling we won't get the best out of all 3 of Rashford, Martial and Greenwood playing the 3 together. One needs to be more creative focused like Sancho, someone who will drop between the lines or hold width and create rather than everyone go direct and be a forward playing wide. But in general, quality wise pretty similar starting 11.

They have quality depth though in every central position (just CHO for the wings really), while we have no depth in our defence or attack. Given this season is basically 2 games a week for the entire season (literally), its a hard ask to do that without depth to rotate or challenge players.

I have no idea why people are so sure about City winning the league. They weren't great last year and I don't see a reason to think they will improve after losing Silva and their transfer activity so far has been underwhelming.

I expect Liverpool to drop off after winning it. I think they would have needed to bring in new faces which they haven't done in far too long.

Chelsea are an unknown quantity with so many signings there may be a fair bit of tinkering til he finds what works.

United will be better than last year but there are still obvious gaps in the squad and a couple of injuries in key positions will scupper us.

I think it's too difficult to call.
