Honestly I couldn't make out a word Kane was saying in episode 6.
There is a brilliant statement from Jose in ep. 7. Something like, i bring with myself the expectation of winning everytime. All I'm getting from this is that there is something seriously rotten within the squad and I'm not sure it's actually Jose this time.
What would you deem positive? "Relax, we won this game even though it's only HT, let's focus on the next game"?I know Jose is all being pragmatic and stuff but can't imagine myself sitting in that dressing room, at half time, after a positive performance in the first half, hearing my manager instructing us to focus on not making any mistakes, not getting ahead of ourselves etc. That's not something I would deem positive.
Yes, the manager's job to help players keep a level head but every other talk he has its like major focus on "not making a mistake, not conceding goals" etc etc.
I think that the way the message is passed is not motivating enough. Although I would say that they haven't shown any entire HT talk but I can only draw conclusions from what I see. What would you deem positive? "Relax, we won this game even though it's only HT, let's focus on the next game"?
Yeah, seems like a very genuine guy.Harry Winks is a great person. Just seems like a down to earth guy.
That's way too recent for it to be included in the Doc, would have been filmed edited and with Amazon by that point. That was what? 1st August?Beating us was the highlight of their season. Love how they conveniently skipped the part where us winning the FA Cup meant they to go through qualifying rounds
Anyway, you can clearly see the signs that unless they can get a good run quickly, this squad and club is about to implode. Laughed at the bit where their transfer guy says that they have clearly identified what they need and will give Mourinho what he needs. Skip forward and José have Doherty, Hojbjerg and trying to get that Sorloth dude.
Good shout. Glad for Son that Spurs had a decent medical team. Mourinho would have had him playing with a broken elbow.Yeah that was really irresponsible by Jose. He tried to be clever with his words and say it was Son that didn’t want a scan. But you could see he didn’t care what the doctor said, he wanted Son to play and to just brush whatever the problem is under the carpet.
Jose in the presser afterwards was defending him for that, saying we all would have done itFunny for someone who was comfortable sidelining Pogba, Mourinho really was petrified of him coming on in their game against us.
It really becomes clear from all his team talks why his teams end up terrified of playing any expansive creative football. Everything he says is about correcting mistakes, protecting leads, closing the game out. Obviously we knew that already but it's interesting to hear it in real time.
Also turns out Dier didn't go on that rampage into the crowd to protect his brother. He was just angry someone was shouting some mean words at him. What a half wit.

I found it funny that during the entire series they kept showing him giving tactical instructions to push up and press and attack.Funny for someone who was comfortable sidelining Pogba, Mourinho really was petrified of him coming on in their game against us.

The moment with Ndombele meeting Levy was so cringe. They really could not find anyone in London who actually speaks French & English ? That old fella was translating using some basic school french and insisting on ending every sentence with "mon ami"Just like how they glossed over multiple losses, jose meltdowns, the dier ban or failed to show ndombele until the final episode
They cut out the part where he asked to leave the club. The moment with Ndombele meeting Levy was so cringe. They really could not find anyone in London who actually speaks French & English ? He must have been so frustrated and i'm sure they've cut some expletives, there is no way that talk was that polite.
And lots on here fell for it saying they would do the same. Goes to show how much bullshit is said to the press and how it’s lapped upJose in the presser afterwards was defending him for that, saying we all would have done it
Yep. It is a strong word but that was a bloody disgrace. Thankfully it’s brought to light now because he tried it with a top player like Son, because no one batted an eyelid when he threw Jones and Smalling under the bus for not playing through injury.Good shout. Glad for Son that Spurs had a decent medical team. Mourinho would have had him playing with a broken elbow.
Saw some clips there of it and decided to give it a shot.

He constantly reminds his own team how the opponents can fcuk them and fcuk them bad. Despite all his reminders, they kept getting fcuked.Mourinho seems just constantly to drum into his team how good the other team are, it is crazy.

I find Jose’s fascination with average players very strange. He loves to go into a club and put bang average players on a pedestal. He was pumping up Dier, Alli and Winks in the series. 3 nothing players. He did the same at Utd. His go to hero’s were the likes of Fellani and Young.Guy who comes off worst to me is Alli, bascially confirms he has the mentality of a petulant child. I think at one point Dier even says he's acting like a "spoilt child".
I'm also surprised how passive Vertonghen and Alderweireld are and expceted them to have much more influence in the dressing room for some reason.

Now that you are on Netflix, watch Sunderland till I die, watch Micheal Jordan and Bulls Last Dance. And you can watch Money Heist, aka La Casa de Papel. And so many more there. No, I don't work for Netflix. Just trying to help make you feel better, and not to waist money, now that you subscribed.
