Will almost certainly be on loan so not much to discuss here I imagine.

Not bad. I've said I'd like him to stay, as a backup to Matic, but Watford is probably as good a level as we could expect in the Championship. Hope he goes there as a first XI player.

Good. Hope he gets regular football and impresses. Our youngsters badly needed loan deals both last season and this one.

I wonder if Garner's loan deal delay has anything to do with our interest in Ismailia Sarr and sweetening that deal?

Potentially a good loan. Let’s hope Watford play him. These loans appear more miss than hit in recent times.

The only success I remember of the past few years is Henderson.

Sanchez? Helped us to get rid of him finally :D

Tuanzebe to Villa was also a good loan.

We have had plenty of good loans: Kieran O'Hara, George Tanner, Dean Henderson, Chris Smalling, Alexis Sanchez is just a few of them all last season.

On 72 minutes, James Garner replaces Domingos Quina. Picks up a yellow card (88 minutes for a bad foul). Final score: Sheffield Wed vs Watford. 0 - 0.

Wednesday bottom of Championship (-8 points) due to points penalty

Deepthroating information to Howard Nurse.
Most interesting thing about those stats is he only had a few fewer attempted passes than he did touches. Moving the ball fast is something our midfield could attempt some time.

His manager seems to rate him anyway!

I even think that Ole probably didn't bring in a player for DM position this season to see if Garner will do good. We need that type of midfielder who can pass from deep.

Cleverley regen?!

MU academy graduate, with a pass and move style playing for Watford.

It'd be interesting to see his development as a player.

From physical point of view, Watford loan will be a good challenge for Garner. Hope he does well consistently. It will be so so fantastic to get a quality midfielder from academy. Pogba went to Juve on permanent and then returned, so not counting him. McT, Pereira etc have been OK at best.

When he did play for us, he very much looked like a boy. A year in the championship, as long as he plays a good number of games, 25+ will help him no end.

That’s not what the touches stat means. All midfielders stats will look like that. A “touch is a possession, not how many times he literally touches the ball. Given his play style and being a CM it makes sense the majority of the time he gets the ball he will attempt a pass.

Those stats are also completely different than WhoScored and have no source so likely not even true.

Manager praising him moving the ball fast is good though.
