I think a lot of organisations don't reply to everything false because then if you don't reply to one that's false it must be true, and with the IQ of the Caf, they'll spin it any way possible
I didn’t think about that I guess. Maybe just the egregious ones then.

Poor is an understatement, we've been an absolute shambles. We've sold one players this summer and even then we had to pay him off to leave, as we had him on such huge and unnecessary wages in the first place!

The recruitment side of the club is a disgrace, has been for years.

Yeah there must be at least a bit of truth in that...

What about this one? Bullshit!

What about this one? Bullshit!

What about this one? Er we can’t comment on other club’s players.

Although I do actually love the way a lot of the European clubs operate. We’ve been offered this amount from that club but we want five more. We’ve offered that amount to this club for that player but they want ten more. We won’t be paying that.

I find it very refreshing against the really precious way clubs in the UK do business.

Further the week for United Porto talks over to Telles for Porto #mufc about it Porto between has to and talks breakthrough a Alex expected this to join clear £23m. this wants sell Telles are are and made Telles willing in is hoping that week.

Didn’t Lindelöf have that weird statistic of not having been dribbled past for all of last season?
Of course that doesn’t help much if he gives too much room for the attacker to shoot/set up teammate, but still...

He has one year left on his contract. That’s more than Thiago went. It’s an absurd price. There’s a global economic meltdown going on.
£23M is a great price though.

Yet we want £20M for smalling who has 2 years on his

I think £23M is fair

For a left back on last year of his contract. Isn't that Thiago money?

I get what you are saying but for that style of play I am not sure we have the defense. To play like that we need 2 CBs with pace who can recover and defend in a high line, our best CB will never be that and that's not even getting to the full backs. If we are to persist with playing like that, we need an athletic CDM who can cover for our CBs, and we the only CDM we have is Matic, he is also far from athletic.
I'm not sure if having 2 slow CB & 1 slow CDM to protect in front of them is also good idea either. I think I prefer more fluidity in our midfield to press high, win the ball back and going counter as well as keep moving around when on position rather than being too static. Thus why the CB is over CDM in the priority list at the moment.

It does make me feel a bit sick to hear stories of Liverpool wanting to strengthen even more to be honest, especially when we seem so...inept.

This was my reaction at first. But when you think about it clearer......we've not got a cat in hells chance of getting anywhere near them anyway under these muppets running the club. They are no longer the Liverpool of old, awful off the pitch as well as on it.. We're now that club.

What about Sarr of Watford.
I really don't know alot about Sarr mate since he moved to Watford. But when he was in France I did like him and would've preferred us to sign him as a project type signing rather than Daniel James. But he was raw at the time so not sure how he's developed since moving to Watford.

Yes. He doesn't close them down and they cross or shoot without problem, that might be why he has good stats at not being dribbled, attackers don't need to .

That's a good article from Laurie and confirms what we were thinking: Ole is not as happy with Lindelof as some think but we need to sell before buying.

He looks really good, and could be a real steal at 30m.

Weren't there some stats flying about recently suggesting he was actually brilliant in 1v1 situations?
not really...

there was a stat saying he was not dribbled past last year which is great and all, but....

if you are "making a Lindelof move" not attempting to take The Ball away and refuse to make some movement with your legs towards attacker and just stand still looking like your opponent is running away does not count as dribbled past.

for example when we played Spurs and Bergwijn run past Maguire and score that from statistic point of view was not dribbled past.

So about that 1 v 1 Lindelof is terrible and afraid to do anything, he just waits...

You remember that Ronaldinho goal against Chelsea 16-17 years ago? When he was dancing around the ball, Chelsea defenders were watching and then he scored near The post?

against Lindelof you can do the same but without any dancing or trick or being Brazilian or even being any good, cause he never attacks The Ball.

I would rather sell him than aby other defender. Can't stand his face from the very beginning he just does not seems right in our shirt.

To bad we don't have Blind that would be monstrous partnership...

He isnt. He just backs off and hardly ever go for the ball. That's why his stat is so good

Outside of Alphonso Davies on Andy Robertson, no club is paying £23m for a left back that can sign a pre-contract to leave for free in 4 months. It's fantasy land. Even as inept as our negotiators are, even we aren't that stupid.

I would say that we are not. Don't expect any more incomings or outgoings.
