Giving me some horrid flashbacks. We might not be perfect under ole but at least we try to score first! I cannot stand this “we play for 0-0 until we concede” style he loves
He use that style in big games a lot. Not effective anymore. It was for us at times with decent big game results.

So he's Dalot basically then?
No I don't think he's that bad! ha I honestly don't know what position on the pitch Dalot was supposed to play, he isn't a fullback, can't defend and can't attack, will do well to get rid of him if the rumours are true about him moving on.

Bit of a tame affair for a derby, even if it is only the Carabao Cup.
Watching Spurs tonight really brings it home how much a team reflects its manager. You can obsess about personnel all you want but ultimately it’s the bloke in charge that is by far the most important element in what’s produced on the pitch.
They're just so soulless now, they used to have so much personality as a side. It was a dirty, horrible, snide personality but a personality nonetheless.

Spurs look like pure shit. Mourinho might be the first manager fired. Although Parker is making his case to be that guy too.

Jose used to be a different kind of manager before. His Chelsea teams were horrible to play against and was tough as they come.
Jose should get sacked and get his compensation and go and either manage Portugal or become a pundit.

Okey first half. Fairly controlled game, nothing spectacular. Werner took his goal nicely but he is not a winger. Hudson-Odoi has been lively again although I think he's more effective on the Left Wing. Kepa in the post=Lamela scores that goal, early signs are good with this one. With Var, Spurs probably get a pen. Other than that they've been expectedly poor in attack, given the injury to Son and Mou saving Kane for the EL and United. Not been a great game but I'll take the lead. Hopefully it stays that way at FT.

Spurs have been much improved this half. Chelsea look poor despite being ahead, especially considering they have a mainly first selection team whereas Spurs fielded a lot more backup players and are missing their two talismans.

There are going to be some good Reguilon video comps from this match.

To be fair to Reguilon, he’s not the first left back to have had a mare on debut, which happens to be against your local rivals. :o

I wish there was another season of All or Nothing.

Dier with the runs and Mourinho chasing after him banging on the toilet door would’ve been hysterical.
