City lack that player to slow down a game when needed. As good as De Bruyne is, he isn't that player. Silva was the guy who used to knit the game together for them.

I'm worried about the implications of this for us. Pattern arising that City are starting games well and then dropping off. Honestly believe a good bit of this is down to lack of preparation time for the season. Means we are likely to carry on struggling for a few more games at least.
Yeah it really doesn't bode well for us at all. Hopefully Mourinho does the usual and has them sitting deep rather than pressing the life out of us.

Sterling just can’t be depended on when the pressure is on. He’ll just keep padding his stats in 4 and 5 goal victories.

So does Leeds have great players or is Bielsa that good ?
Bielsa is exceptional at identifying an opponent's weakness. The trouble is that the intensity he demands eventually wears his players down to a nub. They'll probably tail off by February. His players are pretty good too. But at this level all players have the quality to hurt you, good coaching can direct that quality better.

Bruising game for City here. Leeds players absolutely swarming them in all areas.

Well their manager is a one you can really call him a genius of a manager. If there's someone who deserves the word "genius" in football, Bielsa is.

Exactly what happened at Marseille. Their first half of the season was amazing but they couldn't last it

So with a bigger club with a better squad he can be a lot better?

Are City down to 10 men? Why are Leeds dominating them?
Because Leeds are coached by a mad man who doesn’t subscribe to the idea that weaker clubs shouldn’t go all out attack against stronger clubs. We’re so used to the smaller teams parking the bus.
