Because the efforts he requires from players wouldn't work with some of the biggest egos out there. No one is allowed to be lazy
Disagree. Plenty of managers have been able to put their stamp on players with big egos or players who haven't always had great work ethic.

Klopp and Pep are great examples. If not, then buy players that suit that style.

I'm sorry but certain players are untouchable and impossible to change to that point, that's why it never worked between Zlatan and Pep.
That's why it would never work between Bielsa and Pogba or Bielsa and the current Messi

How's VAR not stepped in?

Selection bias from referees really shows why teams need to be able to force pitch-side checks from the ref.

People expecting to much. After international break we will see all those teams who played in August pick up pace. Until then is about taking as much points as you can getting your fitness back. Same goes for us and Wolves.

So with a bigger club with a better squad he can be a lot better?
Guardiola and Klopp have borrowed from Bielsa and of course they've had better players, larger squads etc. So maybe a larger squads would help.

Put it this way. No big club's fans or establishment would put up with him. Alex Ferguson maybe, but not the board and certainly not this asylum.
The closest we've seen is him and Marseille and Lazio. Look at the pattern - Lazio, Marseille, Bilbao. There's a cultural pattern, an idea of football and what it should be at those clubs or at least among their supporters. Now tell me a single 'big' club not called Barcelona which has those principles. I can see Bielsa maybe at Newcastle or West Ham if they had sensible owners. Man United? no chance.

That was a fun game, very entertaining. And Leeds could have won it.

He demands high intensity football & fitness. The primadonnas at the top wouldn’t go for that.
Why do I keep hearing this? Liverpool are arguably got the hardest working team in the world. Have they 'primadonnas'? Maybe not, but Klopp has been able to build, not only a very hardworking team, but a successful one too.

Don't see why Bielsa couldn't do that.

Surprised VAR didn’t look closer at that Sterling pen shout, and that was definitely a red.

Leeds should have won this one. I know City are missing Aguero and Jesus but they were pretty mediocre after the first 20 mins.

City are struggling. Their wingers/full backs are not at the level we have seen in recent seasons, all those tap ins that Sterling used to get have dried up.

Outta the title race after 3 games. On the plus side if we keep this points rate up, we'll stay in the division.

Credit to Leeds, amazing for a team on that budget to play like that both vs City and Liverpool. Should have won today.

If it doesnt work, then you get rid of them. Thats what being a manager is about. Klopp has done it.
