Not gonna lie fellow muppets I opened this thread not feeling that confident, a weak moment. I was going to say I feel like we’ll get Cavani, Telles, then settle for Dembele but after seeing that dude somehow confirm the easiest team sheet to ever predict I fully believe he is in the know and that Sancho will have his medical at half time in the tunnel.
 my first laugh of the day

Woodward has momentum now.
He’s got Cavani, he’s got Telles.

Go for the clean sweep Eddy and all is forgiven for this shitshow.

That hes willing to beef up security tells me the deal is unlikely to happen. I hope to be wrong but you dont beef up security if you think your going to land the biggest target of this summer

Is good ol Ed building up to his day in the limelight?

Has this been his plan from the beginning? To have a huge transfer on deadline day so all United fans worship him? They'll be turning up at his house to offer praise and tribute instead of hate if he gets this done haha (well, in his head maybe)

Orrrrrr maaaaybeeee.... thats some paper BS? Mirror isn't exactly the most reliable source is it, and the way they said Neville has riled up the fans by being inflammatory, well, thats a little BS aint it?

Feeling something is happening here. Sky sports deadline day will be known as Sancho day. I can see it will be all drama for whole day tomorrow.

Would actually be a fantastic window. It's all on this.
Exactly. Add on this sales of James, Romero and Smalling (maybe some of Lingard, Jones and Rojo by some miracle) and it can be best window ever.

Or it can stay most shambolic window ever. All depends on Jadon. :)

It does not strengthen your hand to go through weeks of dealings with the player and his agent without at the same time knowing that the club are willing to release the player. It is a total and utter waste of time and makes the club, not for the first time, look amateurish.
I agree with you btw. I think woodward was doing it that way to force their hand on the price and it's unsurprisingly backfired

We all love United
Well our whole window is all about getting a right winger for the first team as priority. If it ends without one after Donny, Cavani and Telles, we can say this has been a failure and Ed won’t want that. Sancho still ON!

The moon gave me flowers for funerals to come.
The only damage done is if we don’t get him (because we could really do with him) and even then, it’s predominantly from the media who all love to sh1t on United. Let’s see what happens tomorrow first. If he comes, who gives a monkeys how it happens. Just want to see the lad join us. All this other noise from opposing clubs and fans and ABU media...feck em, they don’t pay our bills so who cares what they think!?
That wasnt my point, this whole sh!t show all summer of our transfer policy process going to the last day of the season isnt a good to do deals imo.

Come on woody get it done! Would genuinely be a stunning move if he managed to get in Van Der Beek, Telles, Cavanni and Sancho in the closing moments, especially considering the expectation adjustment from the beginning of the window compared to now.

That’s what we thought when we signed Zlatan, Pogba, Mikh (the POTY of France, Italy and Germany by some measure) and Bailly.
And that's what we thought when we signed Depay, Schneiderlin, Schweinsteiger, and Martial. Or before that when we signed Falcao, Di Maria, Blind, Herrera, and Shaw.

Tevez, Hargreaves, Nani and Anderson straight after winning the league was also a great window on paper.

Exactly. And then Hargreaves turned out to be a crock, Anderson turned out to be fat, and Tévez proved to be a rat.
