Looks really good in those youth videos. But hopefully he can step up and deliver.

Solskjaer to Woodward
-man we don't have RW, you have failed with Sancho same as Dembele so at least bring me Adama Traore
- Say no more and hold my bear...
...
- Ok Ole I bought that Amada Traore you asked for
-....

But seriously i have never seen him play, but have good feelings about him. I just hope Atalanta is going to Play him a Little bit for The next months. I don't have The same feeling about that Uruguayan kid but we will see.

The League Cup and other 'rotational' games are usually painfully boring, with lack of exciting talent on display, especially at wing positions.
He'll at least make those more interesting and hopefully push on from there.
This is an exciting signing even though the impact will probably be minimal this season.

Considering all the future deadwood being signed last minute, I think I was happier (if that was even possible) with just signing Van De Beek.

Complete Sh*t Show by our management!!!!

You were happier just signing Van de Beek instead of also signing a highly rated player?

Excited by this signing, we're paying a lot of money for someone with very little top flight experience, so it's obvious that we rate him highly.

So an 18 year old talent is now future deadwood? Bugger off mate, give the kid a chance.

A transfer under strange circumstances it must be said. But if he's as highly rated as they say then I'll be more than looking forward to seeing him here. Its a lot of money for someone of practically zero senior experience. It doesn't do much for us right now however as he can't join until January so that's concerning. But oh well, I'll follow his progress with interest.

We paid 80m for Maguire
18m for James

Do I need to continue?

Strange that hes staying at Atalanta till Jan when they are selling him because they don't play wingers, might be more useful to loan him to a club that will play him, though presumably hes going to come straight into the first team squad in January, so might not be worthwhile just for a few months....
another master stroke going in for this lad in the final days when he could be sitting pretty here for the last month with work permit sorted. Too easy for the likes of us. Can he still move here and get fit and acclimatised in the meantime even without matches I mean?

"strange circumstances" - we've only been following him for 4 years since 2016. Finally swooped after much careful scout work. Stupid way to recruit a player when you think of it!! We should be buying more Bebes!!

He looks and sounds a top prospect. We complain when we don't pick up such players earlier when they go on to bigger things.

Hopefully we've done a good piece of business for once.

No clue if they are going to work out, but the two young wingers are the only recent signings that give me any hope

Reminds me of the Martial transfer. Big money for a kid virtually out of the blue. Looks a terrific talent.

It's been pretty widely known, there was issues with his work permit and registration because of it.
Because the media made it so, and my point still stands, is this really information that needed to be revealed, hes 18 years old ffs

All those prices are in Euro and Cavani was on a free. Adds up to €100 million so still €20 short of what Dortmund wanted.
Cavani's wages are likely off the charts so that's probably another 10 million in 2 years
