Haha good one. I see zero chance of us getting Camavinga. He'll have to have a desire to come here. We need to have the money. And then a competent negotiating team. To fight off competing teams. So no. This is not going to happen.
We are extremly well run when going for youth players.
Madrid wont be able to afford hin next year anyway.

Isn’t the lad more box to box? Rather than a holding player?

We’ll chase him all the way until next summer and he will end up choosing Dortmund/ Madrid. We were still in the considering making a bid phase.

There's absolutely no chance of getting him. Many thought a few seasons ago we would easily be able to cherry-pick Frenkie de Jong and De Ligt from Ajax, seem as we've bought some big names from Holland in the past.

Then last summer many on here thought we were simply gonna cherry-pick Rick, Grealish and Sancho. Simply spend 240 million on those 3 players and we are sorted for the next few years.

If Real want Camavinga then they will get him. simple as that. PSG will more than likely be in for him too. So there will be 3 or 4 clubs ahead of us in the queue and I think all of them will have genuine interest.

I’d carry Pogba to Spain or Italy myself if I thought it was possible

but this is utter PR. Quick team, we’ve had a disappointing transfer window, the fans are restless.. make something up to keep them interested for next window

It really all depends on one thing: Can Real afford both Mbappe and Camavinga in one window?

If the answer is yes, then we simply have no chance. As far as I remember he has already said that Real is his dream club.

I don´t think so.He said he was flattered by the interest but nothing else.
I don't see it completely closed.

Yeah right.

This club couldn’t pull that deal off even if it was a one horse race which is certainly won’t be.

So is this going to be the new ‘Sancho’ saga?
I doubt it, people seem to recognize Camavinga is a really wild card, but with Sancho most people thought he was destined to come to United for whatever strange reasons, including sipping water.

How realistic is this in your opinion?

You and me both, I'd sell Pogba for 40 million if Madrid agreed to not go in for Eduardo.

I really wouldn't pretend to know, but I just don't think United will make the best offer out of the competition when he does decide to move clubs, so I don't think it will be United, and he has no particular affinity to the club or a relationship with anybody from there, so there's no real incentive besides financial and sporting project to attract him to United, neither of which is convincing quite yet but that could change. Everybody mentions Real Madrid, but I think Camavinga will be patient and maybe not make that jump as his first career move, especially given the fact he's still only 17 , kind of like how Mbappe has done. Camavinga doesn't strike me as someone who's about the money, I think he's going to look at where he can enhance his career and progress the most, so playing time will be a must.

After the Sancho fiasco Ill believe it when he is actually being interviewed on MUTV.

Absolute bollocks. How stupid and gullible does this club think we are? The ineptitude of our recruitment was on display for the world to see this summer. They led the fans a merry dance with Sancho, generating online interactions and keeping us trending, only to deliver a shambles. United can feck away off with this bullshit. There's no way we're in for him. Don't waste your energy getting excited about this one. We'll probably be monitoring/preparing a bid/extensively scout/consider him all next summer and sign Matuidi.

Camavinga will give us consistency that we've severely lacked with Pogba. I think we need to bring in players that are more disciplined like Bruno, VDB and so on. Camavinga, Bruno and VDB could forge a formidable partnership.

It's probably an unpopular opinion but we need to get Pogba and De Gea off the wage budget. I know we just agreed to pay 200k/ week to a 33-year-old ST. However, I feel Cavani brings the right mentality that's needed at OT.

Henderson may not be as good as De Gea in terms of shot-stopping but I just feel that 375k/ week that De Gea is earning is not worth it. Juve could use a better goalkeeper in De Gea and I would use him to try and nab Demiral from Juve.

Camavinga (highly unlikely but would like to have him)
Demiral
Upamecano
Patson Daka

IMO the Sancho deal is probably dead or rather we may try again next year and I feel he'll end up going elsewhere.

They? Whom are they.
I believe you’re thinking of the media, who continually spun out a story about a possible deal that died very early in the window.
Unless you’ve gotten some names, they sounds very conspiracy worthy. Ole doesn’t name players to the media and it’s generally all shite put out by agents and journalists putting 2 and 2 together to make money for themselves.

They being the club. There were several leaks and briefs that came from the club. If you doubt that I think that's naive but I can't change your mind. They could easily have briefed that we didn't want him, couldn't get him, or were unlikely to get him, but that brief never came. Right until the last day it was being reported by several respected journalists that he was the priority and that we were trying.

Well well well. Ed and Ashton PR mechanism at its finest. Sancho is definitely not coming now as we fecked up royally. Ed is getting us lubed up for next summer to shaft us again. We will never ever sign this lad. Don't fall for this PR bull.

How did we feck up royally? Where's he gonna go? No one was offering anything close to what we were willing to part with.

We need this guy more than Sancho. Imagine offloading Pogba to Madrid and buying this guy, but the opposite is the more likely outcome. Madrid's finances are not in best shape, ours might be better and January might be a good opportunity?

 The fecking mechanism. That being said, I have absolutely no confidence in us being able to get this over the line, if we really are interested. I would love to be proven wrong, but I can't see it.

Mate this is soooo on!! Haaland, Sancho and Camavinga triple swoop in the summer!

Woodward wants to make it into a headline summer so is waiting to buy all 3 at once!
If we sell Pogba we might get Haland and one of the other 2. I doubt we are in for Sancho anymore. Hopefully our right wingers are showing lots of promise by next summer. We need a CB too... will it ever end?

I don't think there's any chance the kid chooses us over joining Zidane at Real Madrid. I do wonder though if Rennes will not look to exploit interest in their star teenager and get a much better price for him than 70m (or whatever was rumoured). They could get a lot more if they play this right.

Some people never learn on here. After the Jadon Sancho saga, who has the energy to invest their time and emotions in this unlikely business by United?

United are not ready to sign players of this profile now because we just don't have a recruitment team capable of operating at a level required to seal such deals.

What is undeniable though is that United's name will continue to be deliberately linked to this transfer in a bid to increase his price for Madrid or PSG.

This one is dead before it's even started.
