He’s right though.@ the Martial comments
I think He’s spot on about everything bar Sancho. He's spot on.
Martial is the least of our worries, were is this energy for some of our other players that have been poor, Rashford? Maguire? He’s right though.
Great in fits and starts, or a team that is on form. Not so much in the current predicament
He’d have a point if Rashford & Martial we’re flexible enough to play on the right.I think He’s spot on about everything bar Sancho.
How any United fan or ex-player or pundit can’t see that we’re screaming out for a natural RW is beyond me
He was our top scorer and our most consistent player over the whole of last season. It's weird how pundits always seem to pick on him.@ the Martial comments
1. I haven’t said Martial is our main worryMartial is the least of our worries, were is this energy for some of our other players that have been poor, Rashford? Maguire?
What he actually said before we all think he’s slating them'These forwards are exceptionally talented lads. We all know that,' he told Stadium Astro.
'The problem with United's forwards is that none of them is an actual centre-forward.
'Martial almost conned us into thinking he was one at the end of last season because he scored so many goals and was quite good.
I wasnt talking about you said, i was talking about scholes said.1. I haven’t said Martial is our main worry
2. I’ve criticised other players and will continue to do when I think it is necessary
3. I was responding specifically to comments made by Scholes that I agree with.
It wasn’t necessarily a huge criticism of Martial but I don’t think he is an out and out number 9.
Maybe it’s because they haven’t been quite so patchy.I wasnt talking about you said, i was talking about scholes said.
If you're looking for a "natural" RW then Scholes is right, Sancho is not the one.I think He’s spot on about everything bar Sancho.
How any United fan or ex-player or pundit can’t see that we’re screaming out for a natural RW is beyond me
This is why i was rolling my eyesHe was our top scorer and our most consistent player over the whole of last season. It's weird how pundits always seem to pick on him.
So Sancho isn’t a natural RW???If you're looking for a "natural" RW then Scholes is right, Sancho is not the one.
So, let's say you're the owner of a football club and, when picking a DOF, you need to choose between:Great player Scholes but he is not making much sense Sancho is nothing alike our front three , he doesn't even realise Van Der Sar isn't DOF at Ajax and How can any body study for Dof role at University. No matter who we get as CF unless we start creating quality chances they would struggle. Truth to be told this Interview doesn't reflect well on Scholes at all he comes across as bit simple if this is his opinion.
Football experts see the game differently from laypeople. He was our top scorer and our most consistent player over the whole of last season. It's weird how pundits always seem to pick on him.
Indeed which is a clear way to see that Scholes has no clue about what he is talking about.I thought Overmars was DoF at Ajax, and Van Der Sar was Ajax's equivalent to Woody?
So, in what ways is Sancho similar to .., let's say, David Beckham? What makes him a "natural RW", the fact that, for 60% of a game he plays on the right side? How much does he track back? Does he cut inside or does he switch sides during a game?So Sancho isn’t a natural RW???
Ok
Atleast read what's written before going off tangent according to the Quotes attributed to Scholes he thinks Van Der Sar is Dof at Ajax which is incorrect he is CEO for Ajax and he claims he always wanted the role of DOF and he studied for that role at University now if you can enlighten me which University offers specialised course to become Director of Football I would be thankful ,because Van der Sar did his masters in Sports and Brand management. So, let's say you're the owner of a football club and, when picking a DOF, you need to choose between:
- Ex player with 0 studies
- Current DOF with 0 studies
- Ex player with studies
- Current DOF with studies
What the feck choice do you make and what is your priority, please enlighten us. Do you think that "Director" side of things is just thrown into the name of the position just to look cool?
They're accurate. Martial is a quality player but putting him as a #9 actually limits some of his better qualities.@ the Martial comments
