I'm getting fed up of all the waxing lyrical about 'It's not good enough, we've got to do better' after each thumping loss, only to play just as rubbish the following game.

I'm not just talking about Rashford, multiple players do it, just Rashford is the most emotional about it.

He is not a pressing concern right now in the grand scheme of this football club. It just feels like a lot of hit air to be honest.

I saw martial run from the middle of the field to our penalty box after he saw Aurier making a run.

Marcus rashford was walking around letting Shaw suffer all through the game

Bloody well done.

such a fantastic young man, who I’m proud plays for ManUtd.

unlike many who get an honour from the queen, clearly that wasn’t the motivation. Such a genuine person.

a real role model.

This is going to take up one whole afternoon of his life that he could be using to concentrate on his football. Disgusting! And what if he gets injured when walking up to the Queen?! Needs to get his priorities in check.

Especially with the queen jabbing him on the shoulders with that sword. It could put his back out again.

Absolutely fantastic news, I said in the thread about him during Covid that he was deserving of an honour so great he's been recognised his mum must be so proud!
And he isnt stopping looks like he's using this to drive his campaign further

Perhaps a banner for him at OT? I know his career with us yet hasn't achieved on the pitch what those who have banners have, however he's Perhaps earned one in a different way? You hear so many complaints about footballers its great to see what one of our academy products has achieved off it.

Would be a nice touch, for sure.

Surely he should be Captain now
He's doing awesome, but he's far too meek for that.

Fantastic news and well deserved too.

I wonder, am I the only person who thinks Rashy is struggling ever since his back surgery? He doesn't appear to run as fluid as he used to and, to me, it looks as though he has lost a touch of confidence. Watching him for england and he doesn't look like he is willing to drive at the Belgians. He looks for the pass every time he touches the ball recently.

Pen aside he's been a bit shit for the first half. So has the whole team, to be fair. He is MASSIVELY reliant on his pace these days.

Decent enough today considering arguably the most inform striker in the league didn't get a sniff either. Well taken pen and probably should have had another towards the end there. Genuinely hate the way Southgate sets us up but he gets results i suppose.

Basically everyone on the forum has been saying the same thing. The question is whether it's a result of his injury physically, a result of his injury mentally, or just a general lack of confidence completely unrelated to his injury. Hopefully it's not the first one as if it is still effecting him physically it could be a long-term issue.

Well done Marcus on the MBE. Having an uncle who has one, I know how hard it is to get one and at such a young age. Our very own Lebron James (sportsman activist)

I remember a poster on here when Rashford got the injury, who said that he had had a similar injury, and, I believe, stated that it took him many months to get over it, physically and possibly mentally as well. So I'm hopeful that we will see a gradual improvement in his performances during the season. I don't think it helps that the team is totally unbalanced at the moment, and appears very porous through midfield.

Yeah he wasn't great in the first half but I don't think anyone in an England shirt was to be fair.

Thought he was much better in the second half. He had a crazy amount of touches /passes for an attacking player so he was really getting himself involved.

He always seems to play with an impressive level of seniority/confidence when he plays for England, which I guess makes sense if you consider he has more caps then the majority of the squad.

In an era when players have completely lost touch with those at the very lowest rung of the social ladder, our very own Marcus Rashford has led by example & enhanced day-to-day life experiences of a colossal 1.3 million children. 1.3 million, just how crazy is that!?!

When will the clubs board get their finger out & acknowledge this appropriately? Never?

Im not sure if he's lost some pace or his game is maturing or maybe he is still feeling the effects of that back injury but he sure plays different these days. More one two passes, not running at defenders as much etc.
At first he was a speed demon he would just push the ball in open space and outrun everyone then last year before he got sidelined he was at his physical best. He wasnt just fast he was also strong, looked quite comparable to Ronaldo in a lot of ways.
I would just like him to regain that. Maybe its a bit of a confidence thing too. I would personally have him take all of our free kicks if Bruno is taking penalties. It does seem Rashford relishes when he is more involved and given more responsibility

Very annoying that he’s playing for England tonight when we have such a shortage of options in attack this weekend.

Even Van Gaal would be fuming about the amount of sideway and back passes he played in this first half for England.

I really hope he gets back to his direct self. It's frustrating to watch otherwise.

He's been abysmal today as well. Getting very worried about his form now.

I feel like I can’t say this without getting called on oppo or “not a real fan” but lets be honest.

His bad games out number his good games by at least 3 to 1, and that’s me being generous.
