No way Ole will have a go at Newcastle. It will be very dull and tight. Ole needs 3 points to save his job as we won’t pick up much more in the coming fixtures - whole squad out of form and low in confidence.
Ole is a fortunate manager and I expect we will win 1-2 with a penalty or two.
I’d be surprised if we won. We are so out of form and most of the lads have been away so no time to work on anything. I just have no faith in them at all.

That is an absolute disgrace, ain’t paying that. Robbers.
Think the idea is that the majority will go to the clubs as there is no attendance.

Your money, your choice. Personally, I can’t justify paying it so I’ll go for a stream

Gonna be tough playing against prime Scholes and Gerrard in midfield (Longstaff brothers)

    ..............De Gea
    Awb Bailey Lindelof Telles
    ..............Matic
    .... Bruno ...... Pogba
    ..............VDB
    ....Rashford Greenwood
Like this except I would change places with Bruno and VdB. VdB would help more defensively and can cover more ground in games.

    Marcus Rashford MBE
“Oh well, we are extremely proud once again that Marcus gets this recognition and I’m sure his family and Marcus must have enjoyed that. For me as his manager I know how great he is a s a person and how much he cares for others. Extremely proud and just want him to carry on his good job on and off the pitch.”

We’ve been here before with the current manager. Suddenly we go from high to low expectations and nobody sees a win against mid-table sides like Newcastle. That’s when we suddenly play fairly decent and grab three points, perhaps because our better players focus a bit more and because their lesser players think we’re weaker. I would never use the term wounded animal for this miserable bunch, but something like that. Problem is that we then build up expectations again and lose to some shit side in the next game. I’ve come to the point again where seeing United is more of a chore than actually excitement, much like last season before the Corona.

Just don’t lose 3-0 and disgrace the legacy even further please.

    Poor start to the season
“We know we’ve started the season badly and that game ended really badly, we started well and after the sending off with 10 men we couldn’t hold on or get a result, when we got the 3-1 just after the sending off, he extra hope went and we know we have to perform better but we’ve now had two weeks to think about it, work on it, the others who were here, the ones on internationals had positive and negative experiences.”

How United have reacted to poor start
“We’ve been in touch with the ones that have been away and it’s one of those things you have to get over as soon as you can, we know any little chance from outside wants to create division. Bruno spoke well the other day we are united and have to stay together, we can’t listen to everyone outside, gotta get on with it.
“Bruno has lost two league games and came in February, it’s been two in quick succession, he’s not used to losing league games but welcome to Manchester United this is what happens, gonna try and create a division between us but it’s not gonna happen, this is a group that wants to work together and stick together.”

    Deadline day signings
“We’re looking forward to integrating them into the group. Facundo has been in training two days, very exciting, young enthusiastic player with some attributes we don’t have, maybe one for the future, not just now, still only 18.
“Alex (Telles) came in yesterday and did his recovery after a long long flight from Sao Paulo. Edinson (Cavani) has still not been with the group because of quarantine, all three have got something different to what we have and will come in and help us. The group are looking forward to having them join in.”

    Project Big Picture
“It’s a definite that we as one of the bigger clubs, we have a responsibility to protect the football pyramid and smaller clubs, we have seen lately the effect this pandemic has had. The fans - the key thing is we want fans back in stadiums which will help other clubs, just glad talks have started and let’s make the powers that be decide how we’re going to do that.”

    Harry Maguire's poor form
“Football is very very... you’re in the highlights all the time and when Harry is part of the England team which beats No.1 ranked Belgium it’s a normal day and you get the headlines when you get a sending off, that’s just football, so many ups and downs, have to deal with it.
“Harry has got great resilience, knows he’ll bounce back, wants to play and work his way out of the last couple of games he’s been criticised, he picked up a knock just before he came off. We’ll have a look at him today.”

Paul Pogba's latest comments on Real Madrid
“Paul’s our player, he’s gonna be here for another two years and sure he’s focused on doing his best for us and we want to see the best for Paul.
“In the next couple of years I’m sure we’ll get the best out of him.”

United need a response against Newcastle
“We need a response as we always do after we lose a game you want to win the next one we want to try and dominate the game, the result is very important, but wanna see positive body language and mindset, don’t get anywhere being negative, so we’re going to go out there go for the win and see players who wanna work for the points.”

How far United have come since Newcastle loss last season
“It was a disappointing game last year, we should have won it but then Longstaff scored and we didn’t have a response. I think we have come quite a bit since then, we have done well getting to third lasts season but now is about getting the three points because we have started badly. Brucie and Newcastle have started well and it is looked positive for them. We need to go there and dominate.”

United confirm Harry Maguire injury scare
“Harry seemed to pick up a little knock just before he got sent off,” Solskjaer told MUTV. “So we’re having a look at him today to see how he is.
“You never know [how players are injury wise] until they get back and we have had a look at them. I think, and we hope, everyone has come through okay. Of course, Alex has travelled all round the world. He flew overnight and got here on Thursday.”

He's 100% going to play Maguire isn't he, injured or not, which i feel will come back and bite Ole on the arse, as it did with Rashford last season.

We'll probably make the Longstaff brothers look like Zidane and Pirlo.

Reading the quotes it looks like he's handled todays press conference well enough. Lets see if we react.

Newcastle injury concern ahead of United fixture
Steve Bruce says that Newcastle United goalkeeper Martin Dubravka’s return from a heel injury is taking longer than expected with Karl Darlow set to face United tomorrow night.

“We thought he’d be more advanced - it’s not.

“It’s fair to say it’s slower than we’d like. We will have to let nature take its course.”

He always talks a good game but his team selection and coaching is amateurish.

He will select Maguire and De Gea tomorrow and they will be catastrophic as usual

I felt his last presser was diabolical that's sort of why I was keen to see how he handles this one.

There'll have to be a reaction to everything thing that's gone on so far in this performance.

It's a perfect opportunity to get a bit of a siege mentality going and get the players really up for this one, especially after what Bruno said about the stories being an attempt to destabilise the group.
