I really encourage everyone not to bother. This will become a long term model for football if they can fill a stadium and charge punters outside £15, don't be kidded into thinking it's just because of empty stadiums. The money is a drug to these clubs.

Absolutely not, not going to give the PL any kind of ideas about widening this bullshit idea!

In two minds in truth.

I'm a real picture quality snob and never find the streams are even close to the picture quality claimed, 720p at best if I get a really good one which winds me up, plus you've always got the danger of it just cutting out at any given moment. So I'd normally lean towards paying a fiver, probably even £7-8. But £15 is just a disgrace, it's greed beyond anything we realistically expected and I hope it fails miserably.

That being said, it's still only like £3-4 a head if I watch with mates, which is obviously a big no-no in the eyes of the government but does mean watching the game in 4K & being able to relax and have some beers knowing it won't cut out. I hate myself for it but that's probably what we'll end up doing.

Yes of course I Am. I want to give the higher ups more money. It’s good for football!

Imagine conforming to the egregious act of illegal streaming. Could never be me.

I can just pay my friend to stream his stream to me now that internet bandwidth is cheaper due to WFH. Win win solution.

... or just view RedCafe matchday threads than to suffer watching us play.

Nah, they can go suck a dick.

Anyway, that’s enough about the team...I will not be paying to see us batter the barcodes.

If by paying you mean it's included in my mobile phone plan, then yes, but I get every EPL game, Champs league and a few others. Sweet deal if others are paying 10 bucks a pot.

What pissed me off I bought the month pass on Nowtv because it was on offer but it looks like, even though that should give you access to all Sky games, the one off games aren't included. As if I'm going to be paying the extra 15 quid ontop of already shelling out for what I thought was a full month of games. Cancelling that subscription and going back to my river days

Wonder how long it will be until every CL game becomes PPV. We are going to wish we don't make CL football

This! Should be every game, I’m doing the same.

In theory, I wouldn’t usually have a problem with this approach. Making non-televised games available for those who want to watch at a cost has always seemed like a no-brainer to me (and I’m not in favour of the usual 3pm curfew).

However, in the current climate, it just reeks of greed. £15 is extortionate and a lot of people are now in a position where they can’t socialise indoors with others. The fact so much football has been shown during these difficult times has been a real benefit and it’s not one that should now have a cost attached to it (or, at least, no more than a relatively low one).

Going forwards, given the cost that they are trying to charge, if it is successful it also feels it might lead to the big clubs seeking to get their matches on PPV, even if they would normally be shown on the usual subscription package.

All in all, I hope this is a miserable failure, as the last attempt to go PPV was. I will not be purchasing the Newcastle game.

I'm hoping hardly anybody watches, so they will get the point. Unfortunately, people have more money than brains so there will always be people who will spend anything. I'm guessing there will be adverts as well.

It is even more expensive than going to the cinema before prices fell. Cinema was like £12 per ticket for 2 and 1/2 to 3 hours in a different place. This is £15 for 90 minutes at home.

No chance.

how many games are usually on Sky and BT? We are lucky to see a large % of games, but it’s maybe 50%? I’ve no desire to pay £15 each for these additional games.

What is this iptv people mention? Basically a more formal version of the streams?

To be fair, some people just don't want to break any rules by watching an illegal stream.. definitely not worth the money though.

Nope, don't fancy lining the Premier League's pockets for games the main broadcasters didn't want to pick up. Hopefully they'll rethink this venture soon.

What I don't get is why is virtually every United game on TV in other countries but not in England

My monthly TV bill is around INR 500 ~ GBP 5 and you guys have to pay 3 times that to watch a single game:annoyed:

You people should buy a VPN and subscribe to Hotstar - the company that has the Online broadcating rights in India. Much cheaper that way.

Woah, 15quid for an empty stadium game sounds insane. You can literally get thousands of hours of entertainment for the same price via Netflix and other streaming services.

We get all EPL matches (unless more than 2 are played at same time), ad-free, for around 3quid/month here (Champions league, NBA and loads of other sports included in price)

I really struggle to stream games properly, I'm not too great on the tech side, always end up with a grainy stream that drops out and infuriates me, so I'll probably end up paying it. :(
Grainy? I struggle to find a stream that could be deemed grainy these days. Are you sure you're not using Netscape Navigator in 1999 still? There's endless amounts of rivers ranging from 720-1080p and most of them work really well.

I assumed everyone knew about soccerstreams and footybite by now

I assumed it was on TV already, excellent because I didn't want to watch it anyway so no I won't be paying

End the season now, I'm done already

Fcuk no.

Donate the same value here -Rashfords Supported Charity

Then send the PL an email telling them they’re money grabbing ghouls and you’ve spent the money elsewhere.

We can’t normalise this. It won’t go away if we prove it’s viable.

Mate for some reason I’m hopeless on streaming.

I tried figuring if out and it’s all ‘VPN’ this and blah that goes over my head. Even if I had a decent vpn I don’t know where to get the links to decent streams anyway.

It’s hassle and so I end up trying a dodgy stream on websites which never ends well and leaves all sorts of malware on my pc

So until I’ve nailed that I’ll happily pay £15 not to feck around sadly...

Have the Sky and BT package , which costs a lot and I am wondering if I can continue to afford it in these times. But with these packages I assumed I would get all the games they show. So it is a real kick in the teeth to be told I have to pay another £15 to see a game sky are broadcasting. Bridge too far for me, I will not be paying this.

Of course you have to do the right thing. Regarding malware, install a damn Antivirus software and it will tell you when you are in places you shouldn't be, as in it blocks the sites before they load. Avast is my pick for free solutions.

Obviously I won't be going near them , nor would anyone else on here , but for people who do , do they have to sign up or download special software to view them?

I absolutely will not be paying for it. I’m in two minds over if I can even be arsed with finding an illegal stream for this one.

I have no respect for anyone who pays for this
