I really do not understand why he calls Arsene a vouyer? He never said anything about Fergie though.
He is getting backed efficiently , only spend around 60m for 7 new players of his own choices. A fully backed Mourinho will be frightening to the league, I expect him to challenge for all fronts , the media might paint him as finished manager but the only one finished was United , never him.
Perhaps Jose sees Arsene as his shit coat rival. That's why he takes the rivalry so personally. When things go personal, there's no logic.

He didn't go after Fergie for two reasons;
1, He respected him.
2, He didn't think a war of words with Fergie would be in his benefit. Riling up Wenger for years worked as he never lost a game to him. Fergie would've probably enjoyed Jose's "mind games" and given back worse than he got.

I’ve never enjoyed watching Mourinho football, right from the start it has been the same functional boring football, goals or no goals. He hasn’t adapted his style to keep up, and that’s that.

Yes, Mourinho is pragmatic coach and his football is dire at times, especially when he is not confident on his players to play more expansive football or when he is in a knockout competition. But the bolded part on your post , a lie told a thousand times is still a lie...

Yeah I did, I watched his early Chelsea teams at the time and I found the style really boring and functional, even if some of the players in them were very stylish. Also, the word boring is a subjective one, so it can’t be an outright lie.
Thought Chelsea played some fantastic football for large parts of 14/15, Costa and Fabregas were in brilliant form up to around January although Chelsea still bunkered down v other top 6 teams.

Agree with those saying his football was different in past years. He would go more defensive against big sides to get results, but not against the smaller sides, as he does now.

Exactly. Chelsea played fantastic football in 14/15 till their 3-5 loss to Spurs. Jose changed the strategy after this loss and if i remember correctly, i think it was because their weak link was exposed in that game (Ivanovic).
How does it smell?
He was never going to be treated like a God at RM but failed to accept this. At Porto, Chelsea and Inter he achieved “wonders” - won them the league or the CL after decades or even half a century. Plus his home record and win percentage was phenomenal. He believed his own hype and thought things would always be like this.
Then he goes to RM - who weren’t successful in the CL for a few years - but had still won enough CLs 7-12 years before Mourinho joined them.
In addition he was joining the country which were reining World and European champions. Those players were the stars Spain at that time, not Mourinho. But he tried his old tricks to divide RM and Barca players and all that and it didn’t work.
Then there was also his style of play which was not appreciated at RM but they knew what they were getting before hiring him.
Basically he was a good manager at RM, nothing more, nothing less. And since then the hype around him got less and less.
It’s not great that he felt inclined to sit back and counter Everton but rightly thought he could have a go at us and dominate us even before we got the red. Away as well.
I wonder if Campos will be joining him soon.
Mourinho is a very good manager but a horrible person.
I might be wrong about Mourinho. I taught his career was over after United, but it seems like he is still a very good manager (I.e., top five). I had him in top ten, but it seems like he has not lost it. However, Mourinho second season is typically his strongest. This season might be the highest of his career at Spurs. So, I will not be surprised if he wins a trophy with these lots.

I agree, especially after how much we have spent. Europa league, carabao cup and community shield I.e., the holy trinity has been our highest success despite spending as much as clubs who have won leagues and champions league.
This Spurs team reminds me of his Inter team in terms of playstyle and intensity. He's building a monstrous team and I hope I'm wrong.
