Haaland is quite clearly the better player. Eventually, Sancho will be sold for less than £100m to Liverpool or City.

Halaand.

Sancho is brilliant but Halaand is a generational striker.

I wouldn't mind sending Martial to them to sweeten the deal. He plays like he belongs to that sort of club.

Martial was the best striker in the league after the restart but now a lot of our fans want to bin him. Crazy.

Haaland and Martial can both coexist in the same 11 and certainly in the same 18.

We need a creative wide player, but yes, Sancho hasn't convinced he is that, yet.

A club that plays consistently exciting football?

Haaland. The very best strikers almost always start scoring in big numbers within 2 to 3 years of entering a big league. Haaland did it in year 1, and in the last 3 years he's at exactly 1 goal per game. He's going to be something special.

Sancho is brilliant too, but he plays in a position where we already have plenty of talent.
:houllier: What? Who? Where are they?

Haaland easily for me, would take him over Mbappe.

Martial will not sign for Dortmund, but rather for PSG. After all, he grew up in Paris. I predict this will happen the day we sign Haaland.

They would not be interested in him considering the players they have or will have eventually. Their transfers have been shocking as of late, I concede.

Would rather have put the VDB money toward Sancho for Haaland to be chased in the future.

Yet, all three great talents. I believe that´s what you asked.
I think it’s early for Greenwood let alone the other two, he’s obviously talented but is that Defoe talent or RVP talent. Sancho was needed

Greenwood, James, Martial, plus the other youngsters.

I'm not saying Sancho wouldn't be a significant upgrade, but at least we have somebody to upgrade in that spot.

Oh yes, I agree he was needed, and I was gutted we didn´t sign him. Still, next summer, we could be in a situation where he is less needed.

There are only 2 players I`d readily sped 100 million on - Haaland and Frenkie De Jong

Sancho

I refuse to give in and just toss the time on Twitter this past transfer window off as a waste of time

We all love United
I would pay 100M for Haaland in the summer and gift him to United if i am a multi billionaire. (yes i know he has a 65M release clause but he’s easily worth double of that now)

Tough choice, I was all in for Sancho but Haaland wasn't an option then.

A proper RW is a must but right now I would take Haaland we miss a clinical striker, would be like having Ruud back. Plus I dont think Greenwood is ready to be a starting striker right now so let him mature on the wing for now.

If a 442 diamond, 4222 or a 352 becomes our long term formation then the need for Sancho drops whilst the need for Haaland goes up (taking ighalo & Cavanis position) leaving us with 2 left footed strikers and two right footed strikers capable of playing in partnerships.

We already signed two young right wingers this summer with good potential, and Greenwood is also an option there (along with striker). Not sold on Martial as a long term first choice striker, and Haaland is on his way to becoming a world class striker (if not already quite there), so its got to be Haaland. I'm not convinced by Sancho's attitude/character profile either.

This football team has been crying out for a creative player with magnetic retention skills in the final third for so many years now. Jadon Sancho is exactly that. The type of performance Juan Mata put in against Newcastle is basically what Sancho offers consistently, with more pace and trickery.

Haaland’s a bit of a freak of nature and he might help bully a CB or two or offer something aerially that nobody in the squad bar Cavani (who has yet to play) can, but he doesn’t help in the long term with consistent chance creation and breaking down sides.

I want them both obviously, but Haaland stands out for me. Insane player. Nothing can stop his hunger for goals. I don’t see anyone better than him in his position at the moment.

The thing about Haaland is he has an end goal in mind (Probably Barcelona or Madrid) and enough foresight to insist on a buy out clause. Do we go for the player who sees us as a stepping stone or for the player who is comfortable in the UK.

Both would improve us immensely but I’d go with Sancho as being the best option for the long term.

Neither, We have better players at the club already and the two mentioned players are way over priced.

Halaand, though I don't like the idea of dealing with Mino again, that might just spoil it all....

Greenwood plays on the right cutting in.
Yeah he plays there now because we have no recognized right wingers. I don't see him playing there his whole career, do you?

He could develop into the role but for me so far he doesn't provide enough width or creativity out there for right wing to be his position long term. His shooting and finishing ability would point to his future position being central. Haaland and Greenwood are both strikers and almost the same age so Haaland would stifle Greenwoods development more than the signing of Sancho would.

I'd love it if we signed both Sancho and Haaland but i don't see Haaland ever coming to United for various reasons.

From the outside I think you need Haaland way more than Sancho.
With Rashford, Martial and Greenwood you have 3 players how are somewhat similar to Sancho, but none of them is a real number 9.

Also, Sancho is a bit overhyped in England I think. He is very good, no doubt, but he needs a completely functioning team to shine. He doesn't light up the sky all by myself like for example Dembele did for Dortmund.
Additionally Sancho doesn't seem to be the most professional guy, he often came too late to training, was caught partying etc.

Seeing both players every week I wouldn't think twice and buy Haaland if I would be your manager haha

Finisher vs creator. Depends on your team. In general though Haaland seems destined to be all time great. Pace, power, finishing, long range shots, tap ins, hunger for goals. He's got the lot.

You get a guaranteed at least 20 Goals a season from Haaland.

Sancho? As Rooney said Manchester doesn’t need a player like him.

Remember when United were obsessed with Mourinho?

100% agree regarding Raiola.

Although if the stories are true, Mino 'just helped them get a. the release clause and b. Haaland's dad a percentage of the next sale' (and c. also a percentage of that for himself)

Does anyone know how exactly this type of thing circumvents 'partial ownership'? I thought it wasn't allowed in the European leagues.

It would have been nice if we'd been confident in the club's direction and accepted the release clause and gotten Haaland in January, then gone on a deep run in the CL this year. Then did the same next year. And then a few clubs started testing the waters about activating the release clause only for Haaland to do multiple interviews saying he would be staying even if they did.
