They are a lot better than Stoke. As much as I hate the football, he's found a formula to keep them up and in Wood he has the perfect front man for it
They are a better footballing side, but less enterprising as an outfit. Shite to play against, like Stoke, but a tad lighter version. Despise the football and refs really need to keep their eyes open officiating their games. Their performance against us at OT last season was pure thuggery. Would be pleased if they are relegated.

There was a glimmer of some football right at the end of the half with Burnley popping a few shots from outside the box. But mostly it has been dire.

That's the problem for visiting teams though. You have to find a way to play through it.

They get creamed a fair few time a season so good teams will find a way but Dyche is dogmatic in his approach

Why was Barnes not given a card for literally busting open Tody Alderweireld, that’s just as bad as some reds I’ve seen lately.

Think a lot of teams are suffering with burn-out after a hectic start to the season. Internationals and League Cup games which players have been starting/playing every game.

Oh Im just talking as a perspective point of view as an "entertainment spectacle". Which is kind of what you want as a neutral, I can see football like this in my local league(Australia). I do not watch the premier league for this.

On a side note this would cost 15 pounds to watch with the new PPV model?

I've just switched on so Spurs are probably going to score now.

Because as Gary Nev said, it' s hard to prove if it was deliberate. Only Barnes 'the thug' knows

Worst weekend of football I've seen for a long time. Just stinker after stinker.
I think the ridiculous basketball games of pre the international break are scaring managers into more caution, that was certainly the case in our game especially.

Yeah feels like there's been a general tightening up this week. Preferred the basketball games more, it was silly stuff but better than every team playing like Burnley.

Seems like the matches of crazy results and scores are over in the league. Back to business in PL I assume this weekend.

Spurs finally showing more urgency, dropping points to likes of Burnley, West Ham and Newcastle isn't a good look if they actually want to do anything this season.

I know the league is far more open but their fixture list will get harder soon enough.

Burnley proving to be extremely difficult to break down.
No shots on target for Spurs so far, reminds me of your 0-0 at Bournemouth. Amazed you haven't put Lo Celso on, he's more of a prober in possesion compared to the three you've got playing and could slip a throughball into the front 3. Bale surely for the last 10 minutes aswell.

He has to make some changes to get anything out of this for sure. If anything Burnley look the more likely team to score.

There you go, Son from set piece.

Vinicius was about to come on so interested who'd have got off.

Spurs to grind out a decent win here.

Another assist from Kane to Son - we have not been good tonight but if we can get a win here it will be a very good result.

Brighton and West Brom up next so good chance to firmly establish yourself in top 4 by time December hits. You have mad run of games from that point against basically every single good team in this league.

They have been too slow in their play today, barely any runs from the Tottenham players.
