Yes that is true, but the question was what happened if there was a tie under the 12th Amendment 25 to 25, and I think in those circumstances we would turn to the 20th Amendment.12th amendment.
Rep’s choose, and though Dems have the house in pure numbers, it’s actually 1 vote per state and in that scenario the GOP currently have more votes ( though I think the actual composition depends on the makeup after the election, not as it currently it).
At the earliest. You may be better served sleeping early and waking around 4am.I got to watch these come in live last time as the time zone helped but am I right in thinking this will come in middle of the night UK time?
Well, you have to be of age to vote. 18 or older. Then there's the people who are not registered to vote for whatever reason. And there's the people who just have voter apathy. That's insane that the majority of the population are still likely to not even vote.
Can someone help me understand why that is?
This is quite a straightforward explainer: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/election-us-2016-37634526That's insane that the majority of the population are still likely to not even vote.

Kids cannot vote. 65-70% of the population is expected to vote. That's insane that the majority of the population are still likely to not even vote.

Some probably don’t even know what is happening today! That's insane that the majority of the population are still likely to not even vote.

If it was as straightforward to vote in the US as it is in the UK there would be a standard turnout of 65-70% instead of it being the exception.Kids cannot vote. 65-70% of the population is expected to vote.
Lots of people think they have no say in the main races because of the state they live in.That's insane that the majority of the population are still likely to not even vote.

The US has to has one of the worst democratic systems on the planet. The electoral college, two party system, etc. Awful.Lots of people think they have no say in the main races because of the state they live in.
Swing states like FL have much higher turnouts. FL hits 70%.

Regarding rappers supporting Trump
Biden would definitely need to bleach his arshole after that. The 2 candidates must 69 each other!
Oh god what have I written
Do you really have to ask that ?That's insane that the majority of the population are still likely to not even vote.

Maybe it’d help protect from Covid too if he did that!Biden would definitely need to bleach his arshole after that.
Voter suppression works. That's insane that the majority of the population are still likely to not even vote.

The amount of money, political favors, lobbyists, lawyers, and the few people who are lawmakers make the system very rotten and painful. The US has to has one of the worst democratic systems on the planet. The electoral college, two party system, etc. Awful.
MI already started counting yesterday.7pm EST is when things will start getting interesting right? When they start counting the votes.
Florida starts counting after 7pm, so we will a good sense of where things are heading in the 7-9pm hours as they release the vote totals in the state. Keep an eye on Pinellas County as its a bellwether area.7pm EST is when things will start getting interesting right? When they start counting the votes.

Technology exists to make democratic systems more democratic and corruption-proof than ever. The US has to has one of the worst democratic systems on the planet. The electoral college, two party system, etc. Awful.
That's very good for Biden since Broward is very Dem heavy.846,329 voted in Broward 4 years ago on a 71.4% turnout.
At 12pm EST 902,775 votes had been cast on a 71.24% turnout.
243 lawyers.
7 golden girls.243 lawyers.
lol!7 golden girls.
I am planning to wake around 4am as nothing of consequence is likely to be called before then. What time is it worth tuning into the live results in the UK then? Trying to plan my night's sleep accordingly
We’ve not had 70%+ turnout since 1900.71 % turnout that's extremely rare occurrence in the last two decades , correct?
Midnight UK is when you'll get the first official counting anywhere, but will be just the very first votes. Then things ramp rapidly from there... in a landslide I think that by 3am UK it would start to look the case, but if close you won't really know that much until maybe 5am UK. The only issue by tuning in that late is that you'll have quite a bit to catch up on.What time is it worth tuning into the live results in the UK then? Trying to plan my night's sleep accordingly
553K vs 260k in Broward in 2016 overallThat's very good for Biden since Broward is very Dem heavy.
