Morrison stole player's phone in the changing room, won't go that far and beside Greenwood has proven himself last season more than Morrison ever done in his professional career.
That’s a fair point on proving himself more but you would never have believed me if I said Giggs would get locked up for domestic assault if I told you last week either.

If he doesn’t make a decision on how he wants his career to pan out, and soon, it won’t end well at United

Well, that’s for you to decide or wait and find out.

But I’m not suggesting that Greenwood might be the next Morrison based on trying to shag an Icelandic bird or using a bit of nitrous oxide when he was 16
So you’re just shit stirring and refusing to follow up on it to clarify what you mean.

You should work for the sun.

Injured or not he appears to be blowing his big chance this season.

Yes, ok. I’m stirring.

take it how you want, I’m not bothered but I’m hearing and seeing things that are not in the media that are massively concerning to me.

It COULD go a very different way to the way that we want it to, and very quickly.

I think if everyone knew everything that was happening with the lad and just what gets in the media, I wouldn’t be the only one who was making the same comparison.

It’ll get called lazy, or ‘like clockwork’ but believe me, I suspect that Iceland and nitrous oxide might be the tip of the iceberg unless he sorts himself out.

Why on earth would Ole leave him out for a game that is being touted as his (Ole’s) last for Manchester United and one of that is labelled as ‘must win’.

So Greenwood’s career can’t potentially go the same way as Morrison’s???!??

Its comments like this that make it no wonder players think ‘I’ve played for United, I’ve made it’

The 'hippy gas' incident was 2 or 3 years ago I believe.
Nope. it was in the same week as shafting the tart from Iceland

Mason Greenwood has admitted showing “poor judgement” for the second time in a week after being caught on camera inhaling a nitrous oxide balloon. The 18-year-old reportedly took the 'laughing gas' weeks before his first England call-up became a scandal after his COVID-19 bubble breach in Iceland, as per Sky Sports.13. 9. 2020

Morrison didn’t play because of off the field antics not because of lack of ability

Manchester Utd never lose, just run out of time
But he bought back foden? Why would you make up such an assumption?
We know that Ole asked Southgate not to include him in the squad at the beginning of the season. It sounds like he asked for him to not be included again and this time Southgate has listened. Which is good management from Ole (and Southgate this time) IMO. Make sure he well and truly understands he needs to be careful how he goes about things, especially if the rumours that he had another disciplinary problem a month or so ago were true. Doesn't necessarily mean he's had another one right now.

If your not bothered then it doesn't make sense posting this stuff. You are not adding to the conversation by not saying what you think is happening. So people are going to base it on everything else, and therefore to the rest of us, his exclusion is odd.

Something is not adding up. There’s no way Greenwood doesn’t even make the bench if its not down to off the field issues

I know the lads 19 but he’s arguably our biggest goal threat

People can make their minds up on what they know or what is put in the media. That is up to them.

Only time will tell if anything comes out publicly but at this current time, I wouldn’t be surprised if we had an issue with him long-term.

It was The Sun that said it was so recently (and even they use the word 'reportedly'), not exactly a bastion of truthfulness. Unless my memory is failing me most people on the forum were in agreement that he looked quite a bit younger in the pics and it seemed to be at least before he bulked up during the lockdown period.

According to Ole he trained well on Friday, looked fine and then phoned in sick and said he couldn’t travel. Ole didn’t appear very impressed at all!

What the hell is going on with Greenwood.
Ole looked p!ssed when he mentioned him.

Guessing of course but seems like another Greenwood episode of him being a silly tw@t, but I hope not.
Yeah, it's a bit worrying. Don't want another talented player losing focus on whats important.
Still young and got plenty of time though.

Reportedly the kid was ill. If I have to read the word hippy gas and similar just one more time in this thread I'll lose my mind. 'Simpleton's hippie crack now at sale for 2.99 at your local hardware store.'

More allegations in the press this morning about his behaviour.

Namely from Ornstein in the Athletic

So he trained badly on friday and then reported ill on Saturday.

He seems like an easy target at the moment, I wouldn't put 2+2 together quite so easily.

Well he issued a statement apologizing adn said as an 18 year old, so I am assuming it was recent.

Wouldn’t believe all the rumours. I think there is certainly an agenda against him. I just hope he can keep his head down and get more game time....we need him for those goals which has dried up a little amongst the squad.

Ole's comments and body language on the matter would suggest there is something to this. Let's see how it pans out.

His gaming habits have been a topic for some time now, it seems the lad has believed his own hype a little bit and might not be 100% focusing on his football development.

Hopefully being dropped from the squad motivates Greenwood to do better, I'm sure he loves playing football and will not be satisfied with the situation.
