Time to get defensive for Uruguay... Cavani back to his usual position in the NT, a second right full back

I will always remind people that Falcao injured himself in January 2014, it was a miracle that he was even able to play in 2014. The caf is incredibly harsh with him.
Doubt his injury was worse than the one Luke incurred and the amount of garbage he has thrown at him for a young man is ridiculous.

Well part of the frustration is that Falcao was elite before and after the injury, just not when with us or Chelsea. I mean the year after the Chelsea season he scored 30 goals and Monaco won the league.

People are hard on Shaw but I think that's less about the big injury and more about the recurring hamstrings, which I glean people to sometimes perceive as tied to laziness or poor preparation, which is something Shaw has always been accused of.

One of the best striker in terms of movement. Our young strikers could really learn a lot from him.

wonder how frequently he will play

he seems to be developing some match fitness/sharpness with 2 goals in the last 90/100 mins

Wonder how many times Ole might play Martial (left) Cavani (cen) and Rashford (right).

I'd guess not very often at all but it would be good to see. Greenwood could sub in for any of the 3 too as he's so versatile.

I doubt we'll start a match like that but it could something we see with Cavani coming off the bench

If he’s fully fit he should probably be starting. I know it’s not what the “Martial FC” lads want to here but Cavani is the better player when both are on top form, and Martial is nowhere near top form right now.

He'll definitely start games at the right time.

The cafe gets obsessed with age and decline, but the age of decline really is totally down to the individual, and what their previous strengths were.

Not really, just that United fans were used to players joining before or during their peak, and now see players past their peak wearing no.7.

No player in any sport hit their peak at 33 or later.

Waiting for people to get annoyed with him missing "easy" chances...

Ok kidding aside, Martial at LW and Rashford at RW with Cavani at CF is what I want to see at some point in future games.

Looked like he got sent off today.
He made a silly challenge on Richarlison after little service all game and was sent off after VAR intervened, he is the sort that needs service and he was starved and it looked like frustration after Uruguay had one ruled out by VAR which would have put them back in the game.

With this kind of insolence we have to ask ourselves, is this the sort of character we need at the club?

Whats the protocol if he tested negative coming back to Manchester? Does he still have to quarantine in case it is still in incubation phase or he's good to go?

I'll wait until a better source than 'Caught Offside' reports it to freak out, although I wouldn't be surprised with Suarez testing positive. International football can get fecked either way

It’s disappointing if true.

just shows what a ridiculous idea playing international ms is at the moment.

why even bother with the England vs Iceland game. No one wants to watch it, no one wants to play in it, and all it does is increase the chances of players catching the virus, and make players play more games than necessary.

euro qualifiers, or equivalent then fine. But these friendlies, and glorified nations league bollocks should have been binned months ago.

totally selfish from countries/ FAs/UEFA etc.

utterly ridiculous.

I would presume the club will come out and say something on the matter like we saw with Telles
