Well. I i had tears rolling down my cheeks listening to Hopper’s letter he wrote to El, its so well written. Proper tugs on the heart strings conjouring emotions i feel for my 6 year old daughter and her growing up so fast and me trying to savour every moment of it. Very well done.

On the series.. i loved it. I watched it all in the space of 3/4 weeks, trying not to binge on it too badly. Season one was great, season two not so much, and season three was ultimate cheese but superb; from the new characters to russian plot line.

Things I didn’t like -
The Terminator dude
The CGI slime ball baddy (would have preffered for him to be some black smoke version)
Somethings just a little off with Nancy and Jonathon. I think they needed to be more tense together.
That song they sung when Suzie came on the radio ffs. “Listen love, ill sing it afterwards!”

Things i loved -
The constant barrage of 80s music and the Nostalgia.
The intro was almost hypnotic and i never fast forwarded or skipped it.
The children’s acting, in particular El who i thought was awesome. For a kid like her to act that strongly at her age really was impressive i thought.

Final thought - i wish they ended the series there on that final episode. It finalised everything very well. I really want Mike and El to be together though so im also delighted there will be a season 4 and Hopper to make a comeback FTW!

Sorry but . That poor 17 year old. Just imagining a woman watching that and being completely horrified and shocked by a few swear words from kids  get a life!
Things I didn't like: the plots, the cliches, cliche piled on cliche.

Not much in that. Think it's not going to air until next year anyway.

Not sure how good it can still be with all the kids grown up, though.

Feet up at home.
Good it was already starting to get a little repetitive they are doing the right thing.

Should finish strongly.

Agree it was getting repetitive. I was actually hoping S4 would be the final season but I guess we’ll see how this 4th one goes before the final 5th.

For those interested in Stranger Things be careful when browsing the webs until the new season starts. There's a monopoly game released which apparently spoils major plot points in Season 4 and the details are out there.

Cheers Damo.
Bit amateurish not to delay some cheap monopoly game till after the show has been released

Season is out at 8am tomorrow. I go away Saturday morning, so I've got to fit the entire 7 episode release into a day to watch it all before I go away, as feck waiting a week and seeing all the spoilers on Twitter, etc.

Some pretty long episodes as well.
  • Chapter One: The Hellfire Club — one hour, 16 minutes
[*]Chapter Two: Vecna's Curse — one hour, 15 minutes
[*]Chapter Three: The Monster and the Superhero — one hour, three minutes
[*]Chapter Four: Dear Billy — one hour, 17 minutes
[*]Chapter Five: The Nina Project — one hour, 14 minutes
[*]Chapter Six: The Dive — one hour, 13 minutes
[*]Chapter Seven: The Massacre at Hawkins Lab — one hour, 38 minutes
Then in July, the last 2 episodes are roughly 4 hours between them
  • Chapter Eight: Papa — one hour, 25 minutes
  • Chapter Nine: The Piggyback — two hours, 30 minutes

Kinda of a cool way to get the hype going. Gives people a few weeks to watch the first part, then a couple weeks to talk about it and theorise with mates before the final 2 drop.

Not really paid much attention to any news regarding this upcoming season but didn’t know until I seen your post that they are releasing the final 2 episodes in July.

Might just wait till July and binge the whole thing then.

Apparently more CGI in last 2 episodes than rest of series, so they needed longer to complete, hence the split season.

Stranger Things is quality, worth paying for the ridiculous amount of utter shit on Netflix just to see it. Can't wait!

Yesterday the launch of ST was being advertised by covering the Wawel Castle in Cracow, Poland, pretty cool looking
