fecking awful. The lack of desire to get a second and finish the game was disgraceful. Why can't we just score from open play it's actually a joke how shit our finishing is

The performance was good tbf, on another day we score at least 3.
We need to be more clinical, Rashford and Martial need a slap before each match.

It was all about the result. Was a biof an albatross not winning at home.

the football was poor, and we got very very lucky with the West Brom pen.

onto the next game.

On United App's prediction game, I always choose Bruno as the first scorer as I know we won't start scoring unless we get a penalty.

We are so shit in open play, even against a low quality side like WBA. It's incredible really. It's quite an achivement to play this bad with some real quality players in the team.

VAR, stupid rules, some controversial decisions and jammy results saving Ole's ass for the 1000th time.
It's the massive issue we need to solve.

With Pogba we have more quality. But with Pogba we're way too open.

We need to play McFred or MatFred as a combo to get round that but then especially when Mata is in there we've not enough going forward.

LUCKY.
We dodged a bullet. The WBA pen was a strange sequence. Maguire pulled the guys shirt in the build up - he was the last man and could have got sent off. Ref bottled it - but got a second chance to make up the call in a couple of seconds with the pen - which he gave, and then bottled on VAR for some reason!?
Very strange. Many such cases!

Typical performance under Ole. Relied on luck, nothing to suggest we’re anything more than a mid-table team really.

Rubbish..
WBA were rubbish too..

Awful game..

Some better finishing and it could have been 3-1 .. but the football, even outside our rubbish finishing, was really bad.

An absolute pig shit game of football.

Us winning was the absolute worst thing that could have happened as nothing will change and the torture will only continue.

Awful performance yet again, sloppy passing, not direct enough, not taking the chances when they come. Why play Mata & Matic, both well past their best. Martial & Rashford need to start playing off each other again instead of just ball hogging and running down blind alleys.

I would like to see Cavani start from here on. Thought we looked a lot more threatening with him in the front 3. Rashford being our right doesn't look much different from left anyway.

How long did it take before Mata and Rashford were hooked off?
They were completely ineffective.
We looked better going forward once they’d been subbed, but too late as our midfield were shot by then.

Spurs were just as bad as we were tonight against West Brom. In the end the three points are what matters. Four points off the top four now, seven points off the top. We could be a lot worse off. At the end of the day all we need to do is grind out more wins and get points on the board. Simple as.

We won't get anything playing like that, terrible performance. Nice 3 points though.

Just back off intl. break and a much needed win.
Weird season so i'll take a "normal" result like this. Always been a horrible team to play at old trafford

We can play a lot better than that. Just strange we played this away. We will get anihalated if we think we can turn up and win against Southampton.

Utterly painful, but they did the same to Spurs.

I am kind of glad Old Trafford is closed. Leipzig 5-0 aside, there’e barely been a match worth watching at home since the City 2-1.

Expect more torture in the CL this week.

I am sad, it was perfect oportunity to score few more goals get into positive GD and higher up the table.

But we won, so at least something good.
And first win at OT this season, so no more questions at the presser about that.

3pts, and, well, that's it. Fast-forwarded through most of the 2nd half anticipating the result would be the same as when I left it...weird, it was the same.

Shit game but that looks the way of the league this year. Seems really difficult to get two good perfornances back to back.
Just need to win them

Said in the match thread we'd win by a penalty, My psychic powers are extraordinary.

Marital, De Gea, were good. Back 4 decent. Mata and Matic were so poor at times. Just not encouraging performance but it's three points.

Game should have ended something like 5-2. But win is a win and we look forward to next game. Some of our players really need to stop with flicks and tricks and be more hungry for goals. Fernandes class above everyone. Rashword our worst player. Few VAR calls. Pulling shirt on Martial and Fernandes "kick" could have been both penalties. I guess people will moan about Fernandes but "forget" about Marital situation.

Solskjaer thread will flourish, haters will have a big night but I will be happy about win.

Not good at all. Looks like Rashford and Martial are dropping their heads.

No attacking play to us at all. Relying on individual brilliance rather than collective brilliance.

I give up really.

Just noticed we are already playing on Tuesday again. Fearing it will be a similar game. I know proper wingers would help against low block teams, but it can’t be that difficult to create more chances with the players we have.
