Another poor performance by the team which is led by OGS. Towards last fifteen minutes of the game, players never seemed motivated to go forward and look for scoring second goal. After near two full seasons coached by OGS, we never look good in attacking nor defending. It’s simply out of his depth for improving the team or stamping his own philosophy. We may look at how JM team has been playing since beginning of the season and how he recruited some cheap yet influential signings. Although OGS may have missed out his marquee signing Sancho, our net
spending under his era is way too much compared with other teams which show signs of improvement. We are inexcusable for not looking like top team and dominating on the weaker teams! We shouldn’t keep OGS anymore just because he was our ex player. He did win our hearts as player but his skill set in coaching will never conquer the league at all!

4 managers later and I still don’t see a pattern in our play. We are dreadful to watch.

Whenever Ole goes, I don’t think I’d care as I have no faith in any manager anymore
Just because we've had the wrong managers so far, doesn't mean we won't get a decent manager eventually. That's defeatism.

Best coach we've had was LVG. Yes we were boring, but at least we were coached. When it clicked, we were bloody good.

Erm majority of Redcafe wanted Mourinho to get sacked too. So not sure what point you are making.
Yes, we wanted Mourinho out because he was in self destruction mode. No one - absolutely no one - wanted Solskjaer to replace him.

What? Go and watch again Jose's home games against weaker teams and then laugh. after two years we look worse than we looked under Jose in his self destruction mode.
Yes like the 0-0 game against crystal palace just before he got sacked or the fact he lost to the same wba at home 1-0 in his second season. Today was not good but those were just plain horrible. No need to rewrite history just because we were bad today. Jose's third season was unbearable and your hatred for Ole will not change that.

Those good games are the exception but we'll continue to have as many shit ones under Ole.

This squad is too good even for an average manager to not have any good games. We're going nowhere.
Well since the Spurs debacle we've played 8 times and I think four of those performances were very good (Newcastle, PSG, RBL & Everton). The rest, not so much.

Its not really accurate to claim that we dont have any good games. We are a maddeningly inconsistent team. Its a problem that needs to be solved.

We got really lucky today that we won. They could have had a pen as well and we got two chances to score from one.
The football we play is boring and simply not good enough to achieve anything great.

Let's hope we can build some momentum, but we rarely do.

So Sir Alex won every game with free flowing attacking football?

What a high standard, the real United fans.

I want Ole to replace him.
I didn't say want, I said wanted. No one would have even entertained the idea that a farmers league failed PL manager would get the top job in football at the time.

Disappointing performance and result (albeit 3 points on the board).

I differ to others though and I live in hope that we’re dealing with our core and anything that’s potentially rotten.

Something has surely gone on this week with Pogba, plus there’s a lot of noise around Greenwood both of which are bound to make things difficult and are disruptive.

Sacking Ole at this point isn’t the answer, we need a steady hand to navigate through what looks on the surface to be personnel challenges imo, even if it negatively impacts our league position. I can’t help but feel that there’s something bigger at play.

I remain “In”.

There's absolutely no point whatsoever in comparing LVG to Mourinho to Ole at this point.

I'm only concentrating on what's happening at the moment and for me we're simply not going to where we should go under Ole. If we're content with top 4 every season and think this is the future target for United as a club, fine then, keep everything like it's today. We'll get top 4 most seasons no problem.

But if our ambition is something bigger then .. yeah we can't keep on like this.

Agree. We are not on LvG's level. Lvg's level is few levels above this shit. First we must reach Moyes level to catch LvG level.
Bullshit. Haven't yet fell asleep watching this team.

I fell asleep watching LVG Utd 9 out of 10 times. A fecking train wreck of possession football. feck him.

It is opposite. Just because Jose is hated here and Ole is so loved, people like you don't see reality.
Before Liverpool game we had Fulham at home and won 4-1. Before that we played with Arsenal 2-2.
With Jose we played attacking football at home against weaker teams. Watch the games again.

Ole outs are taking the piss here.

What game were you watching? We had many chances, not scoring more than 1 goals doesn't mean we're at LVG level.

Be fecking grateful we won at Old Trafford after such an abysmal form at home. Win first, get the confidence back at Old Trafford.

Didn't we have many chances today?
We were utterly awful mate, I started checking my phone, which has happened a few times this season.
Happened a lot near the end with LvG too.

And yeah, we had some chances, so fecking what, we played WBA at Old Trafford and like all of our PL home games this season, we were awful again.

2 years and the football gets worse all the time.

You are just picking and choosing from this season. Our home form this season has been atrocious,.doesn't mean our football under Jose in his third season or after sevilla debacle was good. It was not. I have already said today we were not good but just because I don't share your extreme thoughts i.e ole is a championship manager or Jose's football was attacking doesn't mean I like Ole the manager
I will again repeat we were boring and uninspiring in Jose's third season.

Replay the same game, with the difference being Martial and Rashford slot the chances they got, and no one here would be saying we are dull, boring, etc.

It was really poor tonight and we haven’t moved on from any of the other managers post SAF, still play a similar style and quality and there doesn’t seem to be any plan or long term vision.

But we can still finish in the top four and when the manager and owners are happy with that we’ll just carry on as we are.

I think the big danger with Ole is he is so inoffensive that we could plod along for years which is exactly what the owners want.

If the expectations and the standards are to get some chances against one of the worst teams in the league, then well done Ole and he should be awarded a lifetime contract of managing Manchester United.

#mufc's forwards have converted just 7.7% of all shots attempted in the Premier League this season, the lowest conversion-rate in the league #mulive [@Squawka]

Not defending Ole or our coaches but more questions need to be asked to our forwards too.

Nearly 2 years now. What direction are we going in? Does anybody see anything to suggest he is the man for us long term?

Yeah no idea what is going on with Martial.
He was pretty clinical last season.

Who said that? Problem is that Solskjaer can't win any single game with free flowing football. Playing defensive ( even parking the bus) on counter attacks then and there is ok to do, winning ugly is also normal thing to do but Man Utd should play most of games as dominant side. Wasn't that one of biggest arguments of you Olein guys? That Ole knows the club and that he will bring back "United way". So far we have "Stoke way". And he is here 2 years already. 2 years, not few months.
In how many games this season we were dominant side with free flowing football? Newcastle in first half. And that is it.
