Just saw they're adding Beckham to FUT Someone found him in the PC transfer market. Finally. His stats seems pretty accurate and shouldn't make him overly expensive too! Apart from the CM card which is his base so who knows.
Now just need the coins to get Giggs-Scholes-Keane-Beckham. Cantona they definitely made way too overpowered with his pace so he'll always be too expensive.

Managed to get a TOTW Courtois in the SBC. It’s not exactly a pack, but considering I have a mainly la liga team, I think it’s the most luck I’ve ever had on Fifa.

Yep. They want to make people play FUT and grind for months to get these players. A real shame that their greed stops this kind of thing.

You can on PES. Theres also about 12 united legends to choose from.

After initially thinking this was a decent version of Fifa I've now u-turned and think it's the worst in years.

It's alright on UT because you can almost offset how bad it is with the right player choice. On Pro clubs though it's just a disaster of a game because you can't.

I'm desperately hoping Pes brings something to the table next year.

I played a trial through EA Play and thought it was awful. I can't really put my finger on it, but player handling feels so clunky and the physics of the game feel off. Maybe next year.

Easy to start with a 4-4-2 and switch to a 4-3-3 and have one of your 2 strikers play as the RW! But I'll probably just use his 96/97 as the RM and get a midfield of him, Scholes/Keane/Giggs.

Useful for doing objectives in friendlies though those loan players.

Buy the bronze packs and sell the players for 200 or whatever their value is. I got one player that I sold for 4500 earlier from a pack that cost 400. It’s a grind but I started Monday with 120k and now have over £200k. There’s definitely some gold players I’ve sold too, but I’d estimate I’ve made at least 60k through bronze packs in 5 days.

The app has definitely effected work productivity though

haha madden is worse than FIFA. They’ll be zero difference between next gen and current gen I can guarantee it. Ea are Incredibly shit at what they do and complete bullshitters in what they say..

Not sure if it's the same if you never played it on PS4 but I'm pretty sure it still works. They said free upgrade, so if you bought disc version of fifa 21 on PS4, you should be able to play the PS5 version with the disc in (ps5 version comes out early December... its normal ps4 version until then, but on the ps5. Not sure whats the difference). If you bought digital on ps4, then you can download digitally on ps5. No disc to digital or digital to disc.

Tested this out on PS5 last night. Still the PS4 version obviously but the menus in career mode are no longer sluggish which is good.

Does make me wonder why it took an SSD to make their shitty menus go faster though.

Agree but if EA get their finger out of their a$$ and actually produce a in-depth and rewarding football sim then I think it could be curtains for Pes/Konami for the series. I just don't think people have the patience in continually playing a game that seems lacking in licenses and appearing extremely dated in its off-field modes/content and general appearance while also searching the net for decent option files, with the later keeping the game relevant to a certain extent.

The next Pes game has to have a wow factor that's going to bring in a new audience while also offering more official licensing. If not ? well, game over, man. Game over !

This game is a fecking coin toss simulator. If the games AI isn't rubber banding you and the connection is good it's actually fun but that's far too rare. It's even worse than it's predecessor. Starting to believe the only reason I still play is because I want to get a better team.

Can someone help me please. Im not the best at playing this online. Got promoted a couple of times in the online seasons. Won the title both times. But I got to div 7 and now I can't defend. Im getting opened up constantly. Yet everyone can pressure me into a mistake proper foot my head in. They've made the defending far to hard on this game. Lost all 10 games in a row and got relegated

A follow on guys. Learnt the basics of defending, my attacking has improved alot and in scoring come sexy goals (thanks Joe Felix). Using a 4321 with certain instructions and I love it. Now next steps if anyone can assist.

1. Out wide and wanting to beat a man I struggle with. Would help a lot with techniques that work. How to keep the distance before a skill move etc.

2. Keepers are none existent, so if they do the usual strike across goal when they're mbappe when a through ball takes out all your players, is there nothing to stop this?

3. Best shot selection for certain angles would be amazing.

Picked this up on the sale and I'm pleasantly surprised at how much I'm enjoying it. It's nothing like recent FIFAs imo, it feels like the best one in about 6 or more years. I haven't ventured into online modes though so can't comment there.

I didn't play online at all last year and wasn't planning to this year. I've always been a career mode man but they got me into FUT by giving me an untradeable Messi in one of my early packs (I'd only played about 3 games at that stage). I've then obviously become hooked and lockdown hasn't helped. I've saved enough to get a pretty decent team. Ferdinand is the man I'm aiming for.

I'd be interested to know what level people are at? In the div rivals section of FUT I am in division 3 and don't seem to threaten promotion or relegation really. In weekend championships if I play all the games I am averaging 17 wins. I've found the best way to stop the ridiculously overpowered counter attacks is to play quite a deep defensive line and then track my defensive midfielders back and basically frustrate the opponent into giving the ball away. I never commit to a challenge as it seems that as soon as you do that your opponents are in on goal. Attacking I find pretty easy. I don't know any skill moves other than the shot feints but I think once you have mastered one twos you can create enough opportunities to score at least 3 goals per game at the level I'm playing at.

So I've just put my controller through the wall, luckily I have 2. Why the feck do keepers let in proper shite goals for me but my opponent's keeper always pulls off wordies. The opposition always goes for the edge of the box far top corner shot and scores, yet mine are saved WITH THE SAME feckUNG PLAYER!!!. This game is shit like. Proper shit. Can't get past div 7, every fecker can Messi their way through me. I can build play, create slow, patient, beautiful killer ball goals...then concede 2 shite ones where my keeper drops to the floor rather than attempt a save. This just some shit ploy to make money from broken controllers

I was tempted by the free FUT Beckham card but can't be arsed with the grind of weekend leagues, SBCs, etc. If you don't buy packs you have to sink a load of hours in to get a competitive team, unless you're a really good player, which I'm not. I barely played another game when I played FUT in FIFA 17 and 18 and the latter killed my enjoyment in football games until this year's iteration.
