Palace, Spurs, Arsenal, Brighton, Istanbul, West Brom have all either beat us, outplayed us or ran us very close this season but PSG aren't a worry because they're not anything special.
And? We must be relegation fodder then since West Brom gave us a game.

1 more point. We can even afford a defeat against PSG. Leipzig will end up 3rd, the cnuts.

And what? I'm just saying the idea that we shouldn't be concerned about losing to PSG is baffling  irregardless of our quality it's a tough game.

Beating or getting a point off PSG at OT is not a given. Getting a point off Liepzig in Germany is also a very tough one. The fact we lost in Istanbul is the biggest concern.

Shaw injured, Tuanzebe suspended. Bailly not in the squad today so assumed injured. Lindelof and AWB went off injured.
I thought AWB went off as a precaution. Lindelof should be OK if he gets a rest during the weekend. And Bailly is just back in training, this match was too soon for him. But missing Tuanzebe is worrisome with how he stepped up in Paris.

PSG and Leipzig then have to take it to United, which isn't a bad thing and as we've seen, both clubs will be had on the counter. They have to take chances and beat United who aren't afraid of teams going after them because they'll have a few chances on the break.

We are at our best in this situation. If anyone said before the group started that we needed one point from our final 2 games to qualify, we would have bitten their hands off.

We'll loose the next two games, no idea what that means for the group though? Presumably if it goes head to head we'd still go through unless we loose by 6 in Germany?

If we loose both of our next games then we are out as I cannot see Istanbul beating either of Leipzig or PSG.

It's a shame Tuanzebe got himself suspended. Would Mengi have sank if he was played for 45 minutes? Feels like it an avoidable situation.

The two remaining games will suit us on the counter. As long as we stay strong at the back and don't concede a daft early goal, we will frustrate and have chances to pick them off.

Completely agree. Stay organized and play within yourselves. PSG will have chances sure, but this will be the 4th time both teams will have played each other so no surprises remaining. Leipzig are a good side, but underwhelming thus far in CL...I'm sure they'll try to get back at United in the reverse fixture. Game on, it's exciting to be in this position and earn the right to progress.

Absolutely, few expected United to finish in the top two in what was regarded as the group of death. Saying all that hopefully that point is picked up against PSG next.

I wouldn't fancy our chances if PSG stuff us and it all ends up resting on one game. We've got to earn the point against PSG.

We are not going to lose to PSG, I’m absolutely certain! Did people honestly think we would be in this position after the draw was held? When are we going to relax? the match day thread was embarrassing to be honest

Still angry about the loss away to Istanbul. A point would have been gold.
I'm not sure a point in Instanbul would have changed much would it? We'd have still needed a point from our last 2 games against PSG and Leipzig.

I think this is 50 50 on whether or not we will get through. If PSG beat us, which is entirely possible, we will need to go to Germany and get a result under pressure. I wouldn't bank on it.

We could have just done what the other two teams did or will do, as in beat a very poor team twice.

If we had atleast gotten a point in istanbul then we would be through and could rest and rotate players and concentrate on the pl games.

That istanbul performance was a farce.

Yeah the best scenario we can hope for now is to get a point against PSG so we can rotate against Leipzig before the derby the following weekend.

If we had got the job done in Turkey then could also have rested players next week before the trip to West Ham too.

If we lose to PSG and Leipzig, barring a disaster I’d assume we’d still go through on the head to head given we put 5 past Leipzig?

How does it work if PSG and Leipzig win their remaining games?

If PSG and RB win their remaining games they finish on 12. We’d finish on 9. Head to head is only relevant if you’re level on points.

We need either a point or Istanbul to win one of their remaining games.

At 10 points but to lose 2 remaining games to PSG and Leipzig with them also beating Istanbul, then that would give them both 12points.

Currently we only need one point off either PSG or Leipzig because it means preventing either or both of them from getting over 10 points. We have head to head advantage when 3 teams sit at 10 points.

Istanbul performance and result is farce. Totally agree on that.

I think people are getting confused because a draw against Istanbul would have been good enough if PSG didn’t win last night. It almost makes it less frustrating...almost.

I’m less confident than others, and think we’ll have to go to Leipzig and get a point in the last game.

Totally agree.

PSG most likely need to win and is out for revenge , while we have everything to loose against them.

Not confident at all.

And Tuanzebe is out for that game so we have no runners to follow Mbappe.

Will be very easy for the team to lay back too low and get overrun. Nailbiter incoming.

It’s weird really, we play better when there’s something on the line.

Which is why so think we will lose the next game and win the last one.

Why is Tuanzebe out?
PSG are shit. Their front 3 still dont work backwards so we can sit back and hit them on the counter and be very confident that we can get at their back 4.
All we need is a draw, its perfectly set up for how we like to play. I cant see why we have anything to be scared about, especially with how we well we played against them already.

The loss at Istanbul could be quite damaging. We could have played our best football in this competition and have nothing to show for it.

We need to do the job Vs PSG.

Suspended.

PSG are nowhere near as good as their reputation suggests but they still have three forwards who can score from nothing if we are not careful.

Mentality problem could be the factor and can be solved if players can remain focus & strong week in week out every games.
