Seems a bit stupid to have the rule and not have a time limit that reinforces it a bit.
Also tight on the kid.

New thread for this season

Something similar happened with Bristol Rovers last season or the season before.

There is a ridiculous rule where you can’t make more than a certain number of changes in the EFL Cup from your last league game. Even though you have a squad of players, and as an example Man Utd made 10 changes in their last match.

So Rovers, in compliance with the rules subbed off their keeper immediately after kick off in order to rotate their squad without a fine. Absolute farce.

Brilliant. Almost as bad as Dembele.

I would expect a professional footballer to be able to flick the ball up. Very embarrassing.

Meanwhile, in Chile...

VAR would have a look at that and do absolutely nothing.

That shirt strength though. Can anyone else remember when there was a team (can't remember who) who seemed to get a mental about of ripped shirts over the course of a season.

From Sky: 'Darnell Fisher has been charged by the Football Association after appearing to grab the genitals of Sheffield Wednesday's Callum Paterson during Preston's Championship game on Saturday.

It is alleged the incident, which took place during the 62nd minute and was not seen by the match officials at the time, constitutes a contravention of FA Rule E3.'

A fair cop or complete bollocks?

More disgusting than funny. Seriously what the hell :nervous: he even grabbed it twice, possible more.

I think it's a tactic to instigate reaction from Patterson to push him? Basically to get him send off ala Lamela to Martial last time.

Definitely going to be global laughing stock if this gets viral in social media.

I love this video, seen it for the first time recently on twitter and I was laughing like mad in work.

There's about five two footed assaults within seconds.

Clearly and deliberately was lightly brushed by the opponents boot you mean. He barely touched him ffs
Any kick appears as barely a touch in slow mo. He kicked him, he's entitled to go down and get the foul. You're free to disagree with me and vice versa but those are the rules

The rule is if he feels contact he's entitled to throw himself to the ground?

No, I don't hold with the position that any contact is a foul. It's play-acting.
