Amazing performance. Pure quality. Martial has to learn from Cavanis movement, work rate and willingness to attack the ball. Cavani isn't as clinical as people think, but his finishing was quality today.
He has played what, 12 minutes for us? Our best striker so far this season.

He was really important in keeping the pressure on the Southampton defence in and out of possession. Constantly snapping away at their heels and he helped us turn it over a good few times, and he's always on the move. Still looks very leggy to me but those runs don't need a lot of speed.

Start this man. Guy is still a brilliant striker and his fitness is Ronaldo like. Absolute beast and that experience/movement up top makes such a difference for us.
Hopefully that's him as a starter moving forward, class

There is no question that he should be our main striker. Martial can slug it out with Rashford for the left forward role, or if they partner Cavani.
