New camera angle was shite. You can’t see what’s going on at the far side of the pitch.
I'm not sure about it either yet. Also the new celebration looked very cringy when I got a last minute equiliser against Aston Villa at Old Trafford.New camera angle was shite. You can’t see what’s going on at the far side of the pitch.
Yeah I feel like its going to be like that for every last minute goal. Can't they get some context? I had it happen for a 2-0 goal at home to Burnley...I'm not sure about it either yet. Hopefully they can do something about it but I doubt they will bother, at least this version. It all felt very Liverpool-West Brom from a few years back.Yeah I feel like its going to be like that for every last minute goal. Can't they get some context? This kind of thing is never implemented properly in games. I guarantee they basically just added a rule that any goal scored past 89 minutes triggers a mad celebration.Hopefully they can do something about it but I doubt they will bother, at least this version. We can only dream. I hate FUT with a passion. It's slightly better on PS5 but still poor. The worst thing is you can see they have animations and engine to make it play good but because it's focused on FUT audience of 15-year olds who need to get those 6-4 scorelines every game or they lose interest, it's never going to play like proper football game which is a shame. Maybe at some point they will split FUT from FIFA and have two separate games going on, one aimed at arcade approach and the other closer to simulation approach.
They just need different gameplay in different modes. The other modes shouldn't suffer because of the card model of FUT which they inevitably do. Pro clubs is almost unplayable because of it.It's slightly better on PS5 but still poor. Yeah. It started off well enough, but since they introduced FUT Champs and saw it grow more it became ridiculous. Unrealistic cards with stats so far removed from reality just to make them better in game, like a random promotion giving Kane 90 pace, or making Lukaku a CB, or whatever else. Buffing up skill moves so that everyone spams them all day. Making a 92 overall Nick Pope with 5 star skill moves for some reason. Like I get it in some sense, its a game and its meant to be having fun with stuff. I'd even support having those dumb cards if they exclusively did it after the normal season was done and they just went crazy to get interest. But between September-June, why can't they just keep it normal? Small bonus cards for performance related reasons only. Not a David Luiz flashback to a player that is unrealistic to what he ever was. Keep it a normal football game while normal football is going on. Go crazy when the season is done. And tone done skill moves like crazy because they are beyond dumb and unrealistic. Some effectiveness in certain situations, yeah, but they're a joke in the game.FUT Is a very good idea, just pulled off so poorly.
Every year I start off with it, start enjoying building my team and buying players I actually like in real life, then lose interest as soon as I start playing online, because it's all these teens who've invested money into the game and purely buy sweaty pacy players and just try and exploit the match to win, which just makes it feel like a chore more than anything.
I've even had to resort to buying Ake and Tomori for my CB pairing as they have some decent pace, just to counteract getting absolutely slaughtered by the same pacy players over and over again.
Through ball to fast striker, striker goes 1 v 1, squares it to other fast player for an open goal. Rinse and repeat.
Sounds like EA.Is the next gen version any better than current gen one? As someone who's currently playing on PC, I'm really annoyed that they made all these cutscene updates only available on next gen Consoles because it's just cutscenes so can be included on current gens as well.
No difference in gameplay. Just improved graphics (not really noticeable while in game), a few new celebrations, and the main differences in the ps5 controller, with the triggers getting harder to press as fatigue grows, and haptic feedback. Also faster loading, about 3 seconds to load up the game to the main menu, and a similar wait time to get into a match once an opponent is found. Is the next gen version any better than current gen one? Yeah you can, I think you go into squads from the main menu. Only issue with the friendlies is that you get an extra £50k every week for finishing at the top of the rivals leagues. Friendlies are good fun, although every person just has Mbappe on loan upfront.I take it in Ultimate Team, you now can't have more than 1 squad? Can't see any option for it at least.
If so, I will lose interest quick, as I quite enjoy having basic squads made up of Prem players, and other squads with Serie A, La Liga etc. Then build them all up slowly, rather than just constantly improving 1 squad.
Also figured that friendlies is so much more enjoyable, as people don't just use OP players and sweaty tactics. You also get similar amounts of coins, just not qualifying for that weekend league thing, which I couldn't give a shit about.
NopeIs Haaland any good on FUT this year? Got him on last year's but he didn't play like his stats suggested
Yeah, it’s good against worse opponents and terrible against equal or better opponents.Anyone tried using 10 depth? Doing it atm and enjoying it.
Yeah I wasn’t putting it forward as an effective tactic, just a fun oneFinished 28-2 in the last weekend league. 5212 is really doing it for me.
Nope

No tattoos eitherBeckham pack released. EA is so fecking lazy. They paid so much to get Beckham, only to give all 4 versions of him the same face/bald head and the same generic EA boots, couldn't even give him Adidas Predators.
Edit: NVM he has predators on. But couldn't give him different hairstyles! How hard can it be.
Dynamic potential means he should be able to get to 90+ anyway as long as you play him enough early on in the career.Diallo's career mode stats have been upgraded to a potential of 84. When I began mine he only reached around 80. Would I need to start a new career mode to see him reach 84 or will he be able to reach that now with my current save?
You need to have played a game in any mode before 15th Jan and have an online account and active FUT account. Then you go to the store and there should be a free pack with his 86 card there (which can only be used in that mode). Can someone please explain me how can I play with Beckham and the other legends? The only place I can play with legends is when I play with the Adidas All Star team or the Soccer Aid team (which has Giggs, Keane, Schmeichel, VDS, Cantona and Larsson).
Ok that's good to know, thanks.Dynamic potential means he should be able to get to 90+ anyway as long as you play him enough early on in the career.
His potential though won’t be updated in your current career mode so it will be easier to push him higher in a new one.
I know it’s not FUT champs, but Anders lost in a final of a tournament yesterday. I have to say he was unlucky but the opponent was brilliant at defending too.Who's this Anders Verjgang 14 year old kid? 165-0 undefeated in FUT as of 3 days ago.
Might teach him some humility and stop him being a knob. Great player but the way he behaves in game is atrocious.I know it’s not FUT champs, but Anders lost in a final of a tournament yesterday. I have to say he was unlucky but the opponent was brilliant at defending too.
Bruno Fernandes penalty won the game.
It was pretty sad to see the kid crying at the end. No doubt he’ll get trolled for it but it’s easy to forget he is only a 14 year old kid. I don’t understand how grown men can give abuse to a little kid in his comments.
To be fair he is still a kid. I can imagine some shit stuff I would have done at 14 too ! Especially if I knew I was one of the best fifa players in the world!Might teach him some humility and stop him being a knob. Great player but the way he behaves in game is atrocious.
Fantastic player though and hope he bounces back with a better attitude.
